My March 2024 toy haul got here a few days ago. I finally got the physical strength to take some photos! DX Not being dramatic, just old-people's problems, which I don't really enjoy sharing, but here we are.

Very happy with all these. As always, there isn't a haul that doesn't have at least a million Sasuke Uchiha related stuff.... lol! I never thought there would be so much released based on him alone, back when there was none...DX I'm not complaining, just saying, every other minute there's some new figure or sticker, or file or acrylic stand being released. I only wish I could afford all!

I'm super happy with the Shoto figure, but wish it was either larger, or the box much smaller. There was absolutely no need for the box to be so large, when the figure is so tiny! As a hoarder, MISB collector, I am not happy with unnecessary large figure boxes (the PUP ones are particularly irritating, at times!). Otherwise, I'm happy with all these purchases, the cute Eren plushie and the tiny Eren gashapon, despite the cost of those. T__T;;

Gloved hands get to work. Rifle snapped onto his person, shoulder mounted light clicked on, lower back pouches unzippered. He was twisted stiffly at the waist, a boardstraight back courtesy of a weight-distributing brace. A palmsized antiseptic spray, a snip of gauze. "Let's see how banged up before you start saying sorry."

The saturated pad starts at the temple. A thin, slippery liquid stinging at the wound, sopping up the dark blood and hair obscuring the severity of the site. With his fingertips, as delicately as he could manage it, he pinched away strands and applied pressure. "I didn't see anyone else in the crash," he say, low and sympathetically heavy. He would want to know. But he doesn't linger.

"Hold this down for me, would ya?" Snipping off the shredded edge of her sleeve with the small scissors thumbed out of a multi-tool he took from out of the same pocket. "I'd say, all the shit considered, you're lucky. Still standing. If you can walk, we're really in business. We can't stay here..."

His earpiece whines faintly. Breaks into an uneasy crackle. But it fades.

Carlos shrugged against his ear, a bead of sweat hitting the mouthpiece.

"My guys are containing the hazard caused by some kind of leak. I can get you someplace safe... Here, sit on these crates and I'll take a look at that leg," dragging them over, kneeling on a kneepad, "Just for my peace of mind. You didn't take that guard's missing gun, right?"

ㅤIS IT JUST YOU? the question gives her pause , brows furrowing as she studies what she can see of his uniform. was he not here to collect her after the crash? if he was , he'd have known she'd been alone on the bus , for her own safety. even the slowest of the guards back at wayside knew better than to stick a former c.o. in a bus with inmates who may have been under their watch.

ㅤso then what the hell was going on?

ㅤif nothing else , anne wishes she could explain that she poses no threat to him , that the crime she was locked away for was a one and done deal. but he's under no obligation to listen to her , let alone believe her. maybe if she'd done the same in his situation , just maybe—

ㅤit's now that his other question sinks in , breaks her out of her thoughts. she'd been running so high on adrenaline and self - preservation that she hadn't taken the time to address or even feel the injuries she'd sustained in the crash. a gash on her temple , partially hidden by her hair , is bleeding quite badly ; her jumpsuit's torn at the right bicep and lower leg , tattered edges speckled with blood.

ㅤ❛    yeah , it's— it's just me. ❜  her words come out rather clumsily , an unusually airy sound to her voice. lean shoulders slump wearily as she lowers her hands , finally beginning to feel the intense ache that's seemingly claimed her entire body.       ❛    sorry , i . . . think i got a little banged up in the crash. ❜
