So I finished college and currently on vacation. I am currently not working since March to work on my senior thesis project. I think after vacation I might work again at Panera to repay back my student loans while look for something in my field or whatever full-time. We’ll see what will happen. I hate to go back, but I need a small gig to help with repaying student loans. =/

Salad Closing

No one ever seems to want to close salad because it takes a long time to close it. I like closing salad because it keeps me busy from talking to co-workers I don’t like talking to. Just saying.

Comic Con

There was a comic con here in my city and a co-worker asked if I could take his shift so he could take his girlfriend to go to the comic con. I decided sure since I like extra hours and it means more money. Later in a week they broke up. That sucks for you. Yup. This co-worker works once a week too and always try to get other people to cover his shift. 

I was once working morning shift and he called telling the manager at the time he couldn’t come in and asked if I was working. So the manager asked me to talk to him on the phone. He asked if I wanted to work a double and take his shift. WTF man I’m fucking tired I was thinking. So I told him no and I’m not going to take your shift, but you can find someone else to take your shift. Sometimes you need to know your limits. He went in to work anyways and the manager yelled at him for not always being there since he works once a week. He was like well sometimes I can’t come in. Well that sucks, but you did apply here to Panera. Who cares if you’re a 16 year old brat. Just saying. It was great seeing the manager yell at him.

Out of Town

So I went out of town and went to a Panera with boyfriend to eat. We used the restroom. My boyfriend was out first, but when I came out and saw him there was like 12 soccer chicks coming in standing in line waiting to order. What they were saying to each others:

Soccer girl 1: I don’t know what to get do you know what to get?

Soccer girl 2: I think I’m going to get macaroni and cheese

I tried not to laugh since it is such a white girl thing to order. I was thinking to myself yeah something they throw the macaroni in the microwave to get heated up and bam here’s your meal.

Since there was a lot of soccer girls they opened another register for non-soccer people. So my boyfriend and I ordered. It just made me think I would hate it if I was working and so many soccer girls showed up to ordered. That’s a lot of sandwich and shit to make.

Literally got yelled at (by a guest) and accused of thing to kill an her grandfather with spicy mustard when it came standard of the flat bread...

Wtf? Some customers get mad at the dumbest shit. =l

Dish Washer

The dish washer guy was really slow at washing the dishes and goofing off. So I stepped in to help him washed the dishes. Like dude get off of Facebook. He also had the nerve when it was closing to tell the line people to take the washed dishes and put them up for him. lol That’s your job you lazy piece of shit.

Know Where Your Dirty Dishes goes...

I had expo duty and was calling out people’s names for their orders. Some douchebags thought that the dirty dishes goes on the expo area. Like seriously? Do you know where the dirty dishes goes?
