Two school spirit takes that I will die on a hill for:
Simon isn't romantically in love with Maddie and the show didn't imply that, I don't get why people think he was put of the blue confessing to her in the s1 finale
Unless something CRAZY is revealed, it's like sooooo clear that Mr. M is the villain, and Janet is at absolute worst just morally grey. She is a victim!!!

you're going about your normal day when, suddenly, surprise! you've been pokémon mystery dungeon'd!
unfortunately, due to budget cuts, the pokémon assigning quiz has been canceled. instead, you must spin THE WHEEL, assigning you a random, unevolved, non-legendary and non-mythical pokémon. you must now go on some sort of world-saving adventure as this pokémon. good luck!
tell me in the tags what you rolled, and how you feel about it - for bonus points, you can spin the wheel again for (or just take your pick of) a pokémon to be your partner.
bonus rules:
you're not shiny unless the wheel tells you you're shiny
take your pick of regional forms and evolutions (for example, if you roll vulpix, it's up to you whether that means normal or alolan vulpix)
apply whatever logic you like with regards to gender
have fun and be yourself!

Looked at too many tiktok comment sections under g&g edits and need to speak my piece:
Zion had every right to be mad at Georgia. That exists hand in hand with the fact that Georgia and Ginny had every right to be mad at his response. It's not crazy that he didn't wanna marry Georgia and wanted to travel, they were so young and Georgia so resistant to his parent's help (both reasonableand unreasonably). But because he was turning a blind eye for so long to do his own thing like a normal young adult, and freaked out when he actually saw the reality instead of tuning in from the beginning and/or communicating with them, it doesn't their reaction to his actions in s3 crazy. Neither Georgia nor Zion were evil or trying to hurt Ginny, they're just both imperfect.
Ginny is not fucking evil. My god this especially gets me when people are like "she's doing what Georgia does but instead of for safety like Georgia she does it for power" (yes real quote from tiktok) like WHAT. No the whole point is how she resorts to what she's been taught when she's back up against a wall, just like Georgia. It's harmful (like Georgia to Ginny, Ginny to Austin), it creates enemies that needn't have been (Georgia to Paul, Ginny to Cynthia), and it leaves them uneasy and burdened (Georgia worried about her past catching up to them, Ginny feeling responsible for anything her mom does because she kept her from being convicted). Doesn't make Georgia evil, doesn't make Ginny evil. And don't even get me started on how her being a bitch sometimes (like in the final episode to max) doesn't make her evil either, ya'll just like to hate on her, cause all teens in amd out of the show are assholes sometimes (and ya'll just love to hate on teenage girls, especially black teenage girls).
Paul crashing out was a pretty legit reaction to Georgia's pregnancy play, and it wasn't tye character assassination ya'll say it was. Paul and Georgia was something everyone (including them) wanted to work so bad that they ignored how much of their relationship was both loving the other but not being able to fully accept who they are and their limits (Paul was too proper and not flexible or unconditionally forgiving enough for Georgia, Georgia was too headstrong and unconventional and morally flexible amd gaurded for Paul). He broke them when he left her after her legal trials affected his reputation, she broke them when she lied about a pregnancy to try to keep from sinking. Paul has a temper and gets in people's spaces, that's shown before. His reaction (slamming the wall and his parting words to Georgia) were cruel and angry and him at his lowest, but not out of character.
Marcus isn't the one responsible for how badly Max is doing regarding feeling responsible for him. That's their parents' fault. The Baker parents have seriously misserved both of their kids by making Max feel responsible for Marcus and everyone else's feelings and diminishing her needs and by refusing to acknowledge that Marcus has serious problems that are better seen and treated even if it delays his "normalcy" than beat back and denied and punished perpetually. The Baker parents love their kids completely and have made serious mistakes in their parenting, those things are not incompatible.

Here's my take on Arcane now that I finished it like two weeks ago. Season one was fucking amazing, and the few criticism that I have are a few instances of unexamined bias coming through in character design (visually and through characterization). Then, season two got scared of the main theme and conflict they established in season one, so they nerfed Vi and Caitlyn's characters and abandoned the core theme of the first season, which was the class conflict between Zaun and Piltover and the way that good intentions are corrupted under corrupt systems, which create their own justifications for violence through violence. However, season two was still very interesting and did some amazing character work with Ekko and Jinx, but that character work and the most interesting parts of the plot and the other character work (ex. Mel's arc, the Hextech arc, Jayce and Viktor's characterizations, Caitlyn and Vi's arcs, etc.) could have still existed and would have been much fuller if they were done in tandem with the original theme of the show. I enjoyed it in whole, but the second season felt like the equivalent of a punk band using a taylor swift chorus for their song's entire outro. Not bad on its own, just flat and less meaningful because of the context that had been set for it.

Okay holdup
Who was the black rose mage in the thorns that Mel was able to see thru?
Where was that flying ship with the white sails at the end going and who was on it?
What was the significance of what Caitlyn was looking at in the diagrams and the ln the Jinx monkey?
Was the rune bracelet thing the rune to end the glorious evolution, or did it just serve to show Viktor that future him wanted past him to stop, like what exactly was the situation there? Ughhh it was very emotional but I don't likeeeee timetravel-ey stuff, my mind gets too caught on the chicken-egg paradoxes and shit
How was Ekko able to do what he did with the time singularity without the consequences like in the AU episode happening?
Also how did Ekko have that few-second rewind thing in season one? Was the origin of it explained? Did it have anything to do with the thing Heimerdinger and he made?
And like not a question but... I wanna know moreeeeeeee like what's Ekko doing now, what are Cait and Vi doing now, what is Mel doing now, what does Piltover/Zaun look like now, aughhhhhhhhhhhhh

Iwtv is about what happens when you take beings that are fundamentally humans and remove their ability to be humans. What happens when supernovas aren't allowed to go out. What happens when everything grows but your corpse. What happens when every trait you have is brought to the fullest and most contradictory extreme it can reach and you're still there.

Guys be real with me is it worth it to read the mortal instruments? Like is it actually enjoyable and/or good? Cause I feel like I haven't heard stunning reviews of Cassandra Claire's writing but I watched the movie and CANNOT stop thinking about it (/pos)

Alright fuck it, z.o.m.b.i.e.s headcannons:
After graduating Seabrook High:
Addison, Zed, Wyatt, Wynter, Eliza, Bree, Bonzo, A-li, A-lan, and A-spen, all go to Mountain College after graduation (A few of them are prodigious enough to qualify for specialty programs out of state, but monsters have yet to be granted equal access to higher education anywhere not local to Seabrook)
A lot of them are undeclared, but A-spen is majoring in environmental science and minoring in history, Eliza is majoring in computer science and minoring in political science, Bonzo is majoring in linguistics, and Addison is majoring in social work
Willa works to rebuild her pack and works with Eliza as activists to push for social and legal monster acceptance, celebration, and equality
Wynter and Zed keep playing football in college
Most of them dorm at MC but visit Seabrook frequently
Random hcs:
Addison is strong asf (you cannot tell me otherwise) and she loves just randomly picking up Zed bridal carry style, especially when he's getting way too caught up in his head
Zed and Bonzo have loved doing graffiti since they were in middle school, and, after Zed gets away from the pressure of being "exceptional Zed" in hs, they pick up doing it together again
DIY is a huge part of zombie culture and Zed, Eliza, and Bonzo all take part in that in different ways. Eliza likes making techno music and programming, Bonzo likes art and experimenting with modifying instruments and making noise music, and Zed likes sewing/ textile diy.
That's all I have rn lol, I'll probably reblog this with more when the next waive of obsession hits
