🎟️: Oh, um y-you too. A favorite memory?…..when I first came to this circus, Manon and Ragatha were really sweet for helping me stay grounded….manon has a habit of helping others and I don’t want it to be taken for granted.

I hate knowing how to sew. I hate that knowing how to sew compels me to fix my own clothes when their shoddy construction destroys them cuz I don't wanna spend another fuckin thirty dollars to replace it when I have $1 of thread. Mending is the worst and it's 90% of the sewing I do these days.

Sheep are one of my favorite animals, but Valais Blacknose sheep is maybe my favorite out of them. I created this small cross stitch pattern to be used as a patch. If you like it and want to make your own I have the pattern available here.

Eddie obviously knows how to sew (hes not only dirt-poor living off of a single consistent paycheck and whatever he earns selling drugs, but hes also a punk- theres no way he DOESNT know how to sew), but steve most definitely does. not. one of his shirts get a hole and he throws it out.

When eddie first witnesses this, hes fucking MORTIFIED and ends up digging a t-shirt out of the trash and sewing the hole closed and fixing the loose stitching on the hem and gives steve a lecture about not wasting fabric and money.

And from then on, steve just shows up at the munson household every now and then with various clothes in his arms, asking eddie to fix them for him.

It's Done!

Three months of work from start to finish! All so I could finally present to the world:

So, I started this project in early August, mostly as something I could do during downtime of a then upcoming trip.

I had seen some absolutely amazing art pieces by @royalnaym which kinda gave me the idea that minecraft rendered in pixel art has a pretty interesting while still very recognizable look. At the same time I came across @groupcritpowerdynamics 's speedrun pastel pieces and those really inspired me to try depicting my favourite game in one of my favourite mediums!

In the middle of August 6th, while in the middle of packing for my trip to the UK, I decided I wanted to do this and I wanted to have it to work on during the trip, so I loaded up minecraft and went looking for a screenshot worthy of immortalization. Unfortunately I couldn't find exactly what I was looking for so I made a brand new world and started looking around for the right vibes.

I knew I wanted a lone tree, and that if I ended up including the hot bar I wanted some hearts and food missing, so after running around for a few minutes I decided I would just do it myself and planted a sapling to serve as my centrepiece.

I gotta say I think the resemblance is striking!

And now as promised, the progress gif: mind the slight flashing, I did take these in all manner of different places including but not limited to: a plane, a handful of buses, and a small inn on the shores of England (not in that order).

It's pretty neat to me that you can see how different tones of lighting affect the perceived colour of the thread, I definitely noticed it more on this piece verses other larger stitch projects.

How do you get along with Kingers friends?

Manon and Pomni have a sister like bond and the same goes for Ragatha. Gangle sees her as a sort of comfort from Jax’s bs and Zooble is her partner in practicing acts!

It’s similar to a digital painting I did a while ago and it also matches my sheep cross stitch patch design. My idea is to design a third one to make a bundle, however I’m not sure yet about what animal to pick.

i wanted to try doing my patches on felt because i usually do them on fabric and use fray check on the edges, but felt doesn't fray. It worked pretty good, but i also love the stiff edges the fray check gives the patches, so i'm not sure if I'll switch or not

i thought this baba yaga hut by @virtuallytoast on twitter/x looked so cute but i dont even know where to put it
