It would seem she had indeed worried for nothing after having rushed over when Hakkai mentioned a guy from his class was in a fight. The girl was out of breath by the time she got here, confused as she took a minute to let the adrenaline & fast heart settle. Did he really take on all these guys by himself while coming out practically unscathed? Yuzuha couldn't believe it. 

❝ Oh I know they started it. Jerks have been tormenting my brother for weeks, he's the one who told me he saw you being jumped by them. But he didn't mention you didn't need any help... ❞ her voice trailed off for a moment as she at least kicked one of the guys laying down on the ground right in his side. For Hakkai's sake, of course. The guy let out a groan and merely rolled over. ❝ Are you sure you're alright though? This was a lot of guys... ❞

“a kick like that is nothing to me,” hareluya drawls, letting go of his initial heated tone once he realizes that maybe he's also at fault for surprising the other (but only a little, this guy is definitely mostly the one in the wrong.) he puts down the arm he used to block the kick and shoves the crumpled up paper bag for the korokke he just finished in his jeans pocket, before redistributing the bags he's holding, each filled to the brim with snacks he's acquired while walking around the town. “but i won't stand for you grouping me up with those weakasses.”

He'd be foolish to ignore the suggestion of somebody that frequented the area like Hayato did. The truth was, he wasn't entirely willing to interact with the townspeople just yet, because what little bit he had interacted them with, hadn't exactly went the greatest. At least it hadn't in his mind. He had only stood there awkwardly as he was given gifts, unable to even thank the people properly.

He was far too involved with what had happened to him, to be a decent human being. Maybe at some point he had forgotten how to be in the midst of all his acting.

"The nearby park sounds fine.." he answers with a lazy drawl. Beginning to turn and go do just that, he stops as he comes to a sudden realization. A rather embarrassing one.

"Where is the park?" he had been ready to leave and head there right away without even taking into consideration where they were or where the park was.

a bright smile remained on Suo's face, yet he was not quite willing to fully relax. still it seems like for now it's better to take it easy. a moment of silence as he considered options for the break.

❝ we can stop by a café or bakery to get you a treat first, but i would recommend to go to the nearby park. ❞ the usual bright tone remained as he presented the options. as far as he can assume, friendly townsfolk would probably overwhelm him, if they didn't already. not only that, some people might give them an earful for slacking off during the partol. not that it was anything more than a mild annoyance. ❝ unless there is any place you'd like to go to instead? i'm open for suggestions. ❞

OK GENUINELY THOUGH YES??? i could absolutely see it happening and have been sooooo endeared to the idea since first watching the show & reading the manga. like they've got the chemistry it's totally there!! and i've been rly enjoying the little back and forths we've got going <3 so hell yeah ( also always so down to throw other muses at him and see how they get along!! )

to her credit, there is a valiant attempt to slam on the proverbial brakes. but the momentum is too much. before she can ram into the unfamiliar body, however, he dodges as gracefully as a dancer and extends an arm out to catch her fall instead.

today has been a rollercoaster. the language barrier was hard enough. accidentally burning two men with a power she barely understands was hard enough. but a witness?

for a moment she simply stares, completely bewildered, at the placid and one-eyed face above her. then, when her mind finally catches up, the dizzied shock morphs into red-cheeked humiliation. ❝ i-i'm so sorry! ❞ english, unthinkingly, her voice a posh british lilt. ❝ i nearly knocked you over!! ❞
