reminder to myself and whoever else needs it to stop feeding the machine. I'm aware I'm yelling into the void but look at the past couple years of games. They're pushing $70, $80, $100!!! for games that are completely unfinished, unpolished, and sometimes completely unplayable. Yes the game showcases were cool. The doom game looks sick and I don't even go there, but they're shaking the shiny keys to distract you and get you swept up in the hype. They're going to push so much fomo marketing to get you to jump for it full price.

Wait for sales. Wait and buy a used copy. Hell, wait a couple days (even hours!!!) after launch and reviews and breakdowns will start coming out. Our game backlogs are already packed, and mr big AAA studio can deal with some of us waiting to see if they actually delivered what was promised.

i have no reason to doubt that famiel and the two others will appear in trt, with all his talk about how they’re from a civilization that was the first to lose to the blight and all that. and from the look of the npcs in misidia, this may well could be one of the small nations that resided in the north.

nothing too concrete atp in time obviously, but if we’re already assuming that famiel is indeed from the north, the symbol on his outfit resembles that of gav’s (also from the territories) and icebrand (jill’s eikon weapon that you could craft after clive inhaled her face) 🫶🏻

now let’s discuss the elephant in the room yeah.

how the fuck are we near the north and sanbreque when the motes of water and their mothercrystal was located in southern waloed and was lost 520 years ago (so year of the realm 358)? yeah don’t ask me this idk either. but that’s the fun of it, guess we’ll see 🤞🏻

welp. i just finished my first bg3 playthrough

#186 hours btw #shaking and throwing up tbh but also the ending felt a bit. abrupt ?#like why can’t i talk to everyone individually 😭😭 needed some kinda epilogue for the companions idk #unless there’ll be dlcs do we know anything about that #also i do not have the fully updated version of the game bc uhhh reasons so idk if they added stuff i don’t have any of the patches #BUT ANYWAY aside from the ending this is like. my favorite game now starting another playthrough as we speak #bg3 posting #✨.txt

care to give the details about this neo dlc you mentioned? i'd look it up myself but tbh i'm kinda lazy :P

neo twewy dlc doesn’t actually exist currently BUT the devs have expressed interest before in telling the shinjuku side of the story (which is mostly told through secondhand accounts by the characters in the main game) and shortly after neo’s release a player survey was released in Japan and one of the questions asked if there would be any interest in dlc for neo so they definitely are/were considering it. I cling to these pieces of information for dear life and pray for an announcement every direct

#devs also said they consider Tsugumi to be the protag/heroine of the untold shinjuku story #so if a neo dlc ever is made it’s likely she’d be playable which would heal my soul #also neo has got some intermittent patch updates here and there #so maybe they haven’t completely abandoned the game (copium)#ask

Managed to clip out of bounds on pure accident. Just fell through the floor and boom inside the environment now.

Every single justification I've read for people wanting characters to be locked before playing some amount of single player (or even comparing older games with locked characters, to modern DLC characters???) is so fucking silly.
