Summary:

An ancient pact between the Mushroom Kingdom and the lichen—a powerful, yet peculiar people—dictates that every member of the royal family be bonded with a lichen. As crown prince of the Mushroom Kingdom, George is no exception. However, he finds his lichen, a young man named Dream, very familiar. That, and he’s pretty sure he’s falling in love with him.

When the palace is attacked, George and Dream are left to survive on their own. With new friends and unlikely alliances, will they be able to save the Mushroom Kingdom? (And will George ever tell Dream how he feels?)
