THE EX-MORNING EPISODE ONE POSTER

So much going on, eeee!!! I’m so glad they have an ensemble series as their comeback, and that most of the cast involved are actors they’ve worked with before. I think only Earn is new?

But they’ve both worked with Jamie on separate projects, Singto starred in a series with Ohm (as his brother, sadly), Aou was supporting actor in Kit’s last BL series, and I think they’ve both worked with Pai before.

Oh, and they’ve both known Podd for years, but I don’t think either of them have acted with him before. :’) My “Dark Blue Kiss” son finally meets my “SOTUS” son! (I nicknamed Podd’s character my perfectface son Sun while watching DBK back in 2020.)

Perfect casting all around. Couldn’t be happier. :’’’’)

I love Tae (Aou) just holding Pathapi’s jacket with a smirk to be annoying. I love this series a feral amount already.

THE EX-MORNING Q13: A WILD PODD APPEARS!

We had a LOT today! First of all, we found out that Podd whomst I adopted back in his Dark Blue Kiss era (when he played my perfectface son Sun) is part of the cast!

Let's kick this post off with a bunch of video clips posted throughout the day from Krist, Aou, Jamie, and more!

Aou was on set today, which means we were well fed. :D

He made Krist laugh in makeup:

He also got them all to do a trend and soldiered on with it even though I'm pretty sure none of them is doing it right:

Jamie showed her character's work tag, so we have some fun new details!

Jamie's character is called Kanchana Thiranat, and where they work is Good News Station. I feel like there must be something meta about that, but I'm drawing a blank. Maybe, like, something to do with GN?

Like, the cat's name is meta, so I feel like the name of the news channel's gotta be meta too. Unless they're deliberately fucking with us. I would respect that.

Krist showed the mountain of food support along with PR boxes of pork sent by Gemini's new company.

Jamie showed her beautiful corner of the treasure. (It was apparently her first time receiving food support!)

Nidchaya continues to be my favorite (ha!) on the crew, dancing to Kendrick's "Not Like Us" for the fifth or fifteenth time, this time with a mask of KristSingto's near-kiss scene from Q10.

We also got our customary photos of KristSingto from the official account:

—and I have nothing but screaming to say about both of them. They're just…impossibly beautiful in this series. I foresee me rewatching it just to look at them. The little glasses? The melanin? Their HAIR? :')

We also got a little peek at Pathapi's ring that we saw all the way back in Q1! I thought the ring on the left was Tam's, but the design's a little different. Curious indeed…

Aaand those are all the highlights!

Seems like it was another office filming day. I can't wait to look back on these photos and try to suss out when they filmed what scene. :>

I believe that might be it for this week? Unless we get another Q tomorrow on Wednesday, I'll guess we'll see our next Q on Monday the 10th.

Or some secret third option. :D

Regardless, this seems like a warm and lovely production where the cast and crew are all comfortable with each other, and I'm really happy Krist and Singto got such wonderful circumstances for their comeback series. :') It's well-deserved. <3
