Garlic and Onion Chicken Ingredients 2 tbsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil 1 lb Chicken Breast, boneless, skinless Salt and Pepper to taste 5 cloves Garlic, mince 1/2 medium Onion, julienne 2 tbsp All Purpose Flour 3/4 c Wine, white 1 c Water 1 tbsp Onion Soup Mix https://tinyurl.com/ya7pc5pf 3/4 tsp Basil, dry 2 tbsp Butter Directions Salt and pepper chicken breasts liberally. Heat oil over medium high heat in a large skillet. Once oil is shimmering, add chicken and sear to a golden brown on both sides. Set aside. Add onion to pan and sauté until translucent, about 3 minutes. Add garlic and cook until fragrant, about 90 seconds. Add flour and stir vigorously to form a paste, more oil may be required. Add wine and stir vigorously to remove any chunks of the flour paste. In a bowl stir onion soup mix into the water and add to the wine mixture. Bring to a high simmer. Add thyme and butter. Stir and cook until sauce forms a glaze. Return chicken to pan and spoon some of the sauce over top. Place pan in oven and bake 25-30 minutes. Chicken should be 165 degrees inside.
