Sneeze after sneeze shook your body, causing you to groan at the constant itching of your nose and the burning of your throat. You hated being sick. No, that was an understatement. You despised being sick. Your body heavy and mind fuzzy while you were sipping the tea your boyfriend Peter had brought you.

“Have I told you how much I love you today?” you croaked out, your voice nasal due to your nose being completely blocked.

“A few times, actually,” Peter chuckled slightly before his eyebrows creased, a worried frown taking over his face, “Are you sure your sneezes didn’t cause you to lose some of your memory?”

“Fuck off,“ you tried to say, however, you were interrupted by another sneeze, a cough immediately following it.

“Goddammit, (Y/N), stop being so cute.”

“I’m not cute, I’m dying here, Peter,” you scolded your boyfriend who in turn only laughed at before he took the warm cup of tea out of your hands.

“Come here, my cute, dying girlfriend.” He opened his arms for you to crawl into, holding you close to his chest while rubbing soothing circles over your back and occasionally playing with your hair, his movements calming you down enough for your to finally relax, your eyes getting heavy as you realised how tired you had actually been.

“Get some sleep, babe. I’ll be right here until you wake up,” Peter whispered into your ear before he quickly pressed a kiss against your hot forehead.

“I love you,” you mumbled before sleep finally took over your body.
