helloooo! i just recently had the revelation that i actually want to put my writing onto the internet!

therefore, blog was created. i am interested and consumed by soooo many medias, and willing to write for a lot of them. most, if not all, of my work will be 'x reader', that's just what i'm comfy with writing! i'm also comfortable with writing smut, along with angst and fluff.

Happy 25th anniversary, Dinosaur!

Disney's Dinosaur was released 25 years ago today!

That score by James Newton Howard still slaps, along with those scary-ass Carnotaurs.

watching the original heathers movie for the like 12th time instead of packing and I just got to chandler’s funeral

one thing I find super interesting about their little thingie where they talk above her dead body with the priest in the back (idk what its called, I know nothing abt religion) is not just what they talk about but where they look while talking

heather mcnamara looks right at chandlers face before closing her eyes and then looking up at the mention of heaven at the end. hers is the most heartfelt and sincere out everyones, and she is also the most still movement wise. she briefly brings up how she has a hard time dealing with these things and is the only one to wish something positive upon heather in a non joking manner.

peter also focuses on her face before shifting the her bouquet and then appears to space out while looking down. he looks to the side while he prays for his own college acceptance before looking down again. his choice to pray for his own selfish desires rather than chandlers is evident in his body language, as he moves often.

ram starts out looking before looking down at her body after calling her a hot snatch. he looks back up and then to the side during his justification of the joke. he glances back down not at heathers face and closes his eyes while doing a hail mary and then looks out at the audience as he’s says “pray for all the sinners, so we don’t get caught.” ram also moves a bunch, especially during his jokes.

heather duke glances at chandlers face, looks down as she speaks about praying for her death, but then looks back at her face as she says she feels bad. she looks back down, smiling to herself and then out at the audience, smiling to them as she says her “praise jesus, hallelujah!” hers is the most interesting to me because she looks at heathers face, not her body like most of the others. I think another reason she smiles is because she believes heathers death to be self inflicted, a suicide.

veronica spends most of her time looking at heathers body after glancing at her face. she starts with a greeting, as if to a friend, maybe to chandler before beginning her actual prayer thing. she looks up during her justification of heathers death. she ends with an amen before looking up, and wondering if it sounded bitchy. she is the only one who prays who knows what actually happened and that heather did not die by her own hands, so she spends hers talking about her involvement in chandlers death.

god I love the acting in this movie and how every little movement can tell you something about a character. my analysis might be dogshit but I loooooove going over scenes like this just to see actors movement.

Since I'm obsessing over musicals and musical songs-

"Beautiful" from Heathers.

(For reference, I have not yet watched the full musical Heathers; this is just from listening to the song/watching the scene, without knowing about the characters per the whole movie.)

Regulus/Bellatrix= Heather Chandler

Filch = Ms. Fleming

Au kind of like canon where Snape hangs out with the influential Pureblood families. In the canon, it says Snape hung out with Avery, Mulciber, the Lestranges, Bellatrix, Evan Rosier, and Wilkes, so it wouldn't be too much of a stretch either way.

So Snape, like Veronica, get's adopted by the Heathers, either version of the Slytherin trio, your pick.

Madame Web was good.

Like, I actually really liked it.

Sure, some of the dialogue was stunted, but I guess they have to overexplain concepts in superhero movies if it involves anything beyond skybeams and blowing stuff up. Gotta make the MCU bros understand, I guess.

I'm still confused about why Sims' dialogue wasn't synced up right most of the time, but his voice was just weird already so it didn't make much of a difference.

Dakota Johnson was fine, but Sydney Sweeney was the real standout among the main four for me. Aside from being one of my celebrity crushes, I thought her performance was very subtle, and a change from much of the more sexualized roles she is known for.

Adam Scott as Ben Parker was really cool. The line about "all the fun and none of the responsibility" followed up by Cassie's "that's what he thinks" was very clever. While obviously hinting at Peter Parker's responsibility as Spider-Man and Ben's famous words to him, it also references the responsibility that Ben has to protect Peter, which gives greater weight to why Ben understands responsibility so well.

I won't say Ben stole the show, because he wasn't in it enough to do that and it would take away from the leading ladies. It took a little bit to warm up to them, but it also took them a bit to warm up to each other, so that's kinda the point. These are four strangers who were just forced into a crazy situation, and they don't really know who to trust or who to like. But they actually have some character growth and learn to open up to each other.

I kinda wish there was more of the actual Spider-Women, but this movie isn't about that, it's about Cassie becoming Madame Web. It's not a Spider-Women movie, it's a movie about the women who become Spiders.

The marketing for this movie was weird. Like the trailer was intriguing (at least to me) but everything else seemed off. "Made by AI" maybe, but the movie itself is unique in its concept to be a human original. I think we need to stop blaming ChatGPT and start blaming studio interference.

Anyway, don't listen to me or anyone else about this movie, or any movie. If it looks interesting to you, go see it. If you have an open mind about movies, chances are you'll find something you like.

So my friend has a box of musical characters and she’s pulling them out and seeing if they would be a good ship and I hear her scream “I don’t like this” and shE GOT FUCKING MICHIE. I then have to tell her, that I am very sorry, but there are already at least 10 AO3 fics with that pairing and I’m sorry but I don’t have the heart to tell her I ship it.
