Summary:

"I'm assuming you plan to leave Beacon Hills," Peter says. It hadn't been that hard to find Christopher, all he had to do was follow his scent. Peter finds him in the preserve, at the edge of the lake.

Chris doesn't turn around at the sound of his voice, skipping another stone into the water. It's so juvenile and Peter remembers them sitting here side by side decades ago while they skipped stones between kisses. Is that why Chris came here, to remember that?

"This territory is already taken by an Alpha," Chris replies, which is both as much a yes as it is a deliberate attempt at a non-answer.

"I will join you if we leave Beacon Hills."

That is what gets Christopher to look at him, expression full of surprise.

OR: Chris Argent returns to American soil a changed man - an Alpha werewolf to be precise - and waltzes right back into Peter's life with an offer he didn't see coming.
