GUESS WHO I BROUGHT HOME TODAY???

She's from 1909, so 115 years old!

The very friendly seller let me tinker in her basement and even got me a screwdriver! So I could make Shure that she works!!

Getting her into the second floor into our flat was a ton of work (kind of literally she's a lot of cast iron)

And there is still the original manual, and some spare parts!!!

Have to look closer what kind of Pfaff she is, there are two different kinds of manuals

I found a wonderful antic sewing machine on eBay marketplace (A Pfaff! My knitting machine is also a Pfaff!!! A sighn!!)

She seems to be in splendid condition and all parts move (said the description) AND she's only 60 bucks AND only 40 min by car!!!

I want her sooooo baaaaaad

I wrote a message, that I'm interested and if I could try her out, but no answer so far 😢

She's listed since 18. August, so maybe she doesn't check her notifications that much anymore, but I'm SUFFERING.

I know I put way to much hope into that one machine, but I want her to work and he mine sooooooooooooo baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaad 😭😭😭

It's with the original manual and even some original spare parts and knick nacks :(((((

I even found the website of someone who made blog posts about restoring this Pfaff Model!! So she would be literaly perfect!!!!

AND I found a website where I can look up how old she is with the serial number!!!

So I've been having some insane thrift luck recently! Just picked up a late 70's sewing marine. Entirely metal body, feels very solid mechanically. Needs to be oiled, but otherwise sewing pretty well! Only $15 ❤️ Love the chunky buttons

A great (and nerdy) addition to the sewing machine from WTFanfom on Etsy. Perseus his naughty paws on it and chewed it up, but only the paper and outer plastic was damaged so I'm pretty happy with how durable the vinyl is. I'm not big into stickers on my sewing machine, but I couldn't pass on something so perfect.
