warnings : a bit of swearing, but other than that none!

— ✦ a/n : eeee my first post! all of these are just my personal headcanons, you don't have to agree with each and every one of them─ i would love to hear some of your guy's personal headcanons about dallas! i hope you guys enjoy! ♡

⊹ i don't think dallas would surround himself with people he didn't like, contrary to popular belief. i think that applies to girlfriends and relationships as well. the man is blunt (sometimes overwhelmingly so) and he's not the type of guy to skirt around his dislike for you. if he doesn't like you, he will tell you to your face.

⊹ with that in mind, if you find yourself being a lucky one, just know dallas isn't the person to win a boyfriend of the year award. due to how he grew up, words aren't his strong suit. most of the time, his actions are the best you're going to get. like any other boyfriend, he has his moments but he does try his best.

⊹ you could’ve sworn dallas was spider-man with the way he always knew where you were or if you were walking alone. it was always like his dally senses were going off. he’ll sneak up behind you, giving you the scare of a lifetime, sometimes he’ll even catcall you just to see your reaction (before you realize who it was coming from.)

⊹ dallas always calls you sweetheart, gorgeous, babe, and baby.

⊹ if you’re a soc, with your own little car, dallas definitely loves to drive around town with you. the radio blasting, windows and hood down, his hand resting on your thigh or the head of your seat. 

⊹ if you’re a greaser, you two are definitely menaces on any form of public transportation. dallas 100% gets a kick out of hearing you giggle, squeal, and squirm as he tickles you in the back of the bus, and how red your face becomes when you realize everyone is staring at you two.

⊹ if you do smoke, dallas is always bumming a smoke from you or snagging one from your bag without you looking. he won’t share a cigarette with anyone besides you (because most of the time, they are yours). 

⊹ if you don’t smoke, dallas appreciates it when you sit outside with him on the curtis household’s porch, keeping him company underneath his arm. he’s very mindful when he smokes, ensuring the blow it in the opposite direction but every once and a while the wind will blow it right back, causing a chuckle to leave dallas’s mouth. 

⊹ dallas absolutely adores seeing you in his clothes. not that he’s said anything, but his actions speak louder than his words. he’ll randomly throw random articles of his clothing at you, like his jacket, a t-shirt, sweatpants, no explanation. maybe his dally senses were going off again. 

⊹ he’s given you his st. christopher’s necklace and he one hundred percent noticed the one time when you forgot to put it back on after a day at the pool. 

⊹ dallas is 50/50 when it comes to pda, he could live with or without it. the majority of the time, his hand is placed on your lower back, damn near holding your ass, as he guides you through buck merrill's bar— an arm slung around your shoulders or waist, while he mingles around the bar or wherever you two may be—  his hand on your thigh, softly rubbing it while he talks to whoever— and maybe a quick peck on the cheek in front of the gang and his friends, but never a full on makeout, that's between you two, and you two only.

⊹ dallas gives the best piggy back rides. end of. 

⊹  dallas loves having his back rubbed. his mom used to rub his back to help him sleep at night but after he went to jail for the first time, he grew to miss his mothers back rubs. you had no idea about any of this until he made an off hand comment about how he slept horribly one night without them— he absolutely just melts when you scratch his head.

⊹ dallas hates spiders, which you find absolutely hilarious every time he catches a glimpse of one and screams “OH MY GOD, (name) THERE IS A HUGE FUCKIN' SPIDER IN HERE.” and begs and begs you to come kill it, but you always catch it to taunt him with— “he ain't gonna hurt you. he's a harmless little guy, dal.” “a harmless little guy my ass, i've seen one of those kill a guy before."

⊹ dallas thinks he has the best taste in everything (movies, music, foods, etc.) but in all reality, he has the worst taste. never mention this to him, otherwise he will talk about how “your taste is just as bad.” at least the feeling is mutual?

the sunday morning light flooded into your apartment through the blinds and curtains. dallas was laid up on your bed, toying around with his switchblade whilst waiting for you to get ready. the plan was to go blow the average greaser’s entire salary on new clothes and makeup (which was something dallas hadn’t gotten entirely used to). he didn’t argue, however, and just considered carrying your shopping bags around all day as a good workout.

the bathroom door was shut, and you sat on the fuzzy pink stool beside your vanity. you had tears streaming down your cheeks, ruining and clumping the setting powder underneath your eyes. you clutched the gold chain and charm in your hands, examining where the chain snapped.

from his spot on your bed, dallas could hear your quiet sniffling and occasional whimper. he let out a quiet groan and ran his free hand through his brunet strands before walking over to the bathroom to check on you.

dallas rapped his knuckles against the doorframe, waiting momentarily for your response. once he heard you squeak out a quiet ‘come in!’ he pushed the door open.

“glory- what happened t’you?” dallas murmured, brows furrowed at the sight of the tears streaming down your cheeks.

“oh, dal,’ i’m so sorry…” you hiccuped, trying to steady your breathing as you showed him the broken chain. “i was trying t’save time, dally…”

“know you hate waitin’ so i tried to put on my necklace while m’setting my concealer but it got caught on my stupid rollers.” you explained, almost hyperventilating while trying to slow down your tears.

by now, your makeup was completely ruined. your eyeshadow had smudged when you rubbed your eyes with the heels of your hands, and your setting powder was pilling and clumped underneath your eyes.

dallas stood infront of you, slightly dumbfounded. he had never gone out with a girl who cried to him, let alone one that cried over a snapped necklace.

“well- cool it doll, s’just a neck-“

“no it is not!” you nearly gasped, offended that dallas thought so low of a gift he had gotten you. “s’the necklace you got me for our-our anniversary!”

by now, dallas was pretty much fed up with your little tantrum. he really did not understand why it was such a big deal? to him, it was just a necklace.

dallas leaned down until he was eye-level with you. he used his thumbs to wipe away any tears, which by now had dripped down your chin and onto your chest and neck. dallas’ hand cupped your jaw as he tried his best to calm you down.

“calm down- it’s jus’ a necklace, alright?” he spoke to you, voice low as he looked straight into your eyes. “forget about it, doll. we’ll go out and buy ya’ a new one, ‘kay?”

you looked up at dallas, nodding and sniffling as he wiped away the remainder of your tears. once he stood back up, hand cupping your cheek, you buried your face onto his stomach. your arms were wrapped around his waist, and dallas had to fight back at the big grin enveloping his face.

“alright… finish gettin’ ready, and i’ll buy you a new one today, happy?” dallas hummed. “n’ take your time, we ain’t in a rush. the store ain’t goin’ nowhere.”

dallas pressed a gentle kiss to your forehead, before leaving you to finish getting ready so you two could shop until you dropped.

— ✦ a/n : congrats on your first post, sweetheart! you ask and you shall receive, i love two-bit and emilio estevez with every fiber of my being LMAO. thank you for your request and the kind words– i hope you love this just as much as i loved writing these silly headcanons! LOVE YA! ♡

⊹ two-bit is a bizarre boyfriend, he is definitely not like anyone you’ve ever been with prior. he always has some crazy shenanigans up his non-existent sleeves. it’s never a dull moment in the mathews’s household, that’s for sure.

⊹ two-bit gives the best hugs. you know the ones. the ones that are always so warm, the ones where he squeezes you so tight you can just barely breathe, the ones where he lifts you up off the ground and spins around. a great big bear two-bit hug is always necessary. 

⊹ crazy ass nicknames for you are one of two-bit’s many strange specialties. the nicknames vary, but usually the nicknames are based on foods or random objects he’d seen that day, for example, booger nut, burnt pasta, and googly button, etc. he would also call you sweet names, like tid-bit (to match him), darling, puddin’, toots, and tater tot to keep it balanced.

⊹ physical touch is two-bit’s love language, therefore, pda is a must. he will be attached to your hip one way or another, whether it be him holding your hand, a hand on your waist, setting you on his lap and his arms wrapped snugly around your middle, a soft peck on the cheek, your back pressed against his chest with his arms wrapped around your shoulders and his chin placed upon your head. 

⊹ he definitely begged if you two could be minnie and mickey mouse for halloween, which you obviously agreed to do so. his little sister tagged along as well, and was obviously pluto. you three ruled the east side of town. 

⊹ speaking of his little sister, two-bit once asked if you could teach him how to braid hair for his little sister, so the kids at school would stop making fun of her wild hair. now, he braids your hair for fun but always expects you to scratch his head afterwards. tit for tat. (he also loves twirling the ends of your hair literally whenever he can get the chance.)

⊹ still on the topic of his little sister, he wants to fall to his knees and ask you to marry him right then and there the moment he sees you playing dress up with his little sister. he loves how much his favorite gals adore each other. 

⊹ he makes the most god awful jokes, solely just to see your smile or hear you laugh uncontrollably. the sight of you happy makes his heart swell. 

⊹ if you’re a greaser or if you’re a soc, he will be stealing for you. need a new pair of shoes? two-bit already snagged the last and best pair– you want that pretty pearl necklace you saw in the window of a boutique? it somehow managed to slip into his pocket while he was browsing with you.

⊹ two-bit is quite frankly always drunk after 6pm, so always expect a lovey dovey two-bit at your doorstep at 12am asking for kisses and cuddles, or spending the night sleeping on the cold linoleum bathroom floor, rubbing his back. 

⊹ the whole gang, and sometimes himself forget that his birth name is actually keith, but when he remembers, he hates it when anyone refers him as keith– besides you. he thinks it’s hot as hell when you use his first name.
