Munch threw his hands up in defense, which you quickly swatted back down to not draw attention.

“I’m just saying…,” Munch defended his claim, “Olivia… she might be top with men, Cassidy being the perfect example, but she is not one with women…”

“Are you calling Olivia a bottom, Detective…?” You whispered harshly, “She’d have your head, you know…” you warily chuckled.

“But that doesn’t mean I’m wrong!” Munch exclaimed.

“Wrong about what?” Monique chimed in.

You groaned lightly, putting your hands in front of your face. You couldn’t believe this. John was quick to fill Monique in.

“Hey.” Monique said, swatting you with the file in her hand, making you look up at her from your seat, “Just ask her” she said with a mischievous smirk.

Monique said it like there was nothing to it. Like it couldn’t crush all the time you spent cultivating a professional relationship with the woman. It wasn’t that easy. Or was it…?

Both Monique and Munch seemed far too happy with your decision, but you didn’t have the time or headspace to think about that right now.

As five pm came around, the team started to go home. You caught Olivia on her way out of the station.

To yo ur delight, the woman happily agreed to drinks down the street. You too walked down the road to the bar together, and pretty soon, you were sat inside and sipping on some drinks.

Talking seemed to come naturally, and you to talked late into the night. Before you knew it, it was 11pm. And you still couldn’t pin point the whole reason you had asked Olivia out in the first place. It was bugging you.

But before you could even ask, the two do you were leaving the bar and about to split to go your separate ways home. Suddenly, you felt the intense urge to kiss Olivia. Before the woman could walk away, you pulled her into a kiss. She gasped, but quickly reciprocated.

After a few minutes you pulled away, and her eyes told you everything.

“I’d like to take you home…” you breathed out.

Olivia bit her lips and her cheeks went a little red.

“I’d like that…” she confessed in a whisper.

The next morning you were at the station bright and early as usual. Munch and Jeffries had been giving you suggestive glances and gazes all morning, which you simply ignored. You weren’t going to give them anything.

Monique seemed a little vexed as she handed John cash after Olivia had walked away for the moment. John couldn’t help but chuckled lightly.

“Wait… What was that…?” You said in a low tone, not wanting to be overheard.

Munch waves the money around with a grin.

“Yep.” He said proudly, “and by the way Olivia unsuccessfully walked into the station, I won.”

On a stormy night in late November 1973, I’d packed my VW van and headed to ‘Big D’ - Dallas, Texas, hoping to find more acting gigs. New maneuvers. After filming ‘Headcheese’ wrapped, I’d sold my motorcycle and purchased a second-hand VW bus. Dallas is about 150 miles East of Austin. I’d arranged through friends to stay with their friends and look for an apartment. It was me and my stuff, all my worldly goods.

Cut to a year later, early November 1974, I was living in Dallas and working at a popular bar on Greenville Avenue in Old Town Village called “HP Cassidy’s". The club was owned by the Dallas Cowboys’ quarterback Craig Morton and some of his buddies. I’d met my three roommates at my first gig at a restaurant also in Old Town Village, Daddy’s Money, and soon left for the new happening spot, HP Cassidy’s, around the corner. From its grand opening, HP’s was always crowded, with lines down the sidewalk, a good hour to two hour wait was common in its first year. We worked hard and had a lot of fun! One particular night in late October ’74, when I’d just arrived for my shift, it was just getting started. My section upstairs in the mezzanine would soon be full to the max, and it never stopped the entire night. Closing time 2 PM. Keeping up was all we could do.I went downstairs to the bar to order my drinks with the bartender, Mike. “Hey, Mike, two scotch and sodas and one Tom Collins, please.” Almost before I got my order out, Mike asked me, “Hey, Teri, didn’t you tell me a while back that you were in some horror movie back in Austin?” Confused, as I had my mind on getting my drinks out, I replied, "Huh?" You could see the mezzanine from the downstairs bar station and I saw more tables filling up. Plus, I’d not thought about filming ‘Headcheese’ very much since we’d wrapped filming 14 months earlier.

I then remembered I must have mentioned it to him during our many chats at work. Over the 50 years since filming, I rarely told any one about my playing 'Pam' in the film that put Texas film and horror on the map. The previously oppressed genre began to take on a new life of its own around the world.

I replied, “Oh, yeah, right, I did.” Mike then told me that it was out, that he’d seen trailers showing on TV and that I was in all of them, running and screaming. That didn’t make any sense to me. “No, it couldn’t be me, I was the second girl, not the lead. You must have seen the other chick, Marilyn. She played the lead…” Mike interrupted me, “Teri, it was YOU! You’re in the whole thing.” Geez, I thought, that’s amazing. I still didn’t believe it though, until the next day when to my shock, there I was running from Leatherface. I’ll be damned, this is incredible, I thought to myself.

We saw it was showing at a theater near some friends who lived in Tomball, a tiny town north of Houston. One of my roomies and I were soon in my VW bus headed to Tomball to see what was then called, “The Texas Chainsaw Massacre” for my first time. It felt surreal. I’ll tell you that story next time.

Something that I’ve always been called as a child

I’ve never really paid attention to what anyone had ever about me since I’ve never really cared too much about people's opinions why worry about something that doesn’t make a difference in your life rather than just stress about it

My Perspective on people's opinions however changed during my teen years after my parents went bankrupt and were forced to slave themselves for the cooks on the other side of the town, my father worked for Judge Thornton as his personal construction worker.

My father became great friends with judge Thornton through out the years occasionally bringing me over during my teens years to meet Mr Thornton only son Topper.

During this time Topper didn’t even spare a few glances or a few words other than “hi” and “bye” from the times I’ve been over at his home as “play dates” as my parents liked to call it. He was busy hanging out with this best friend rafe and started talking to Sarah cameron

It was when I turned 16 my life had really changed, mom was home for a few days of the week while dad was barely ever there after my 15th birthday. It was then that same day a few knocks where heard on my front door

I looked over at the broken chronograph that was slanted on the wall seeing that it read 8:00 PM

“Who could be coming this late” I wondered

I hesitatingly walked over to the door slightly peeking through the door seeing that it was Sheriff Shoupe and another male officer with him, he looked up at me

“may I have a word with you Cassidy” He asked taking off his hat and resting it upon his chest

“Uhm my mother isn’t here at the moment you’ll have to come back another time,” I said looking around the house a bit

“Well, there’s no need what I need to talk to you about is about them” he sighed out

My eyebrows furrowed

I opened the door fully and gestured for them both to come in

“I didn’t want to deliver this kind of message to a young person as yourself but your parents have been arrested” He said calmly

It went silent after he said that, my whole world felt like it was gonna go crashing down after that, I didn’t know what to do or how to feel. I just kept feeling daggers go straight through my heart and my vision blurring a bit

I wiped my eyes slightly

“W-what do you mean sheriff” I asked

“They’ve been arrested for theft, your father has been stealing money from judge Thornton bank and hiding it with your mother”

I stayed silent waiting for him to continue holding in my breath silently

“Judge Thornton was going to press charges but he made a deal with your father for his repayment, it involved you” he finished out waiting for my reaction

“W-what about me?” I whispered out

“He made a deal that you’ll be living with them from now on and you’ll be married off to there son Topper to repay the dept your father owed them” He said

That’s it right there.. when my whole word fell apart and crashed down right on me, the air seemed like it was suffocating me and the feet felt more heavier than they usual are and my body felt so hard to be still

I felt like passing out

The sheriff noticed this and held me slightly seeing my body about to stumble over and fall right onto the floor

“I understand how you feel Cassidy but right now your parents requested me take you back over the station to see them before they are put in jail” he said walking out the door slowly and guiding me over to the police car as he opened the door and I hesitantly got in frozen in place as he slammed the door and got in the drivers seat taking off

I was frozen in place unable to think or move a bone

This had to be a dream

The car moved up and down slightly as the sheriff drove through the bridge that separated the cooks from the pogues. The flashing lights from the street lamp post illuminating slightly over my face as he drove in the darkness

Without noticing more tears started slowly crept up into my eyes and right down on my face continuously as I wiped them trying the hardest for it to stop raining on my face but it didn’t.

The sheriff heard my sniffles and whales of cries and glanced at the rear view mirror.

I didn’t notice we reached at the station until I felt my door being opened and the cool summer air gushing on to me.

“C’mon Cassidy” he whispered out putting his hand out for me to grab onto it

I slowly looked up from the floor and looked over at his with glassy eyes slowly inching my arms to his and getting out the car

He closed the door guiding me into the station and down in the interrogation area, my head being dipped down and focused onto the floor the whole way there

He opened the door and there I was faced with my father and mother sitting side by side staring right at me with guilt in there eyes. I couldn’t bare to even look at them for what they had done and the situation they had now put me through

The sheriff pulled out the chair infront of my mother as I sat down chewing the bottom of lip

“Well I’ll leave you guys to it, you have a few more minutes left with your parents before there transit comes” he announced and then looked back over at them before taking his leave

The room stayed quiet

“Look sweetie what your father and I did was all for you, we didn’t mean for this to happen w-we just wanted you to have a better future” my mother spoke putting her hands over the table and rubbing the dried tears off my cheeks slightly

“Y-you’ve set me up to get married to some guy I barely even know a Cook at that” I sniffed

“It was the only way doll, it was either that or have you work for Mr Thornton off the debt that I made, I couldn’t have you slave behind me for something you didn’t even do” My father spoke back

I looked up at him with nothing to fury

“THEN WHY!? why do this shit if you knew you would have been caught and your poor old daughter would have to take all your consequence” I half yelled at him in frustration

This shocked both of my parents as there eyes both went up at my tone not to mention my cursing my mother removed her hands from my face

“Sweetie what we did was for you, for your future for your college for you fucking life-!” My mother started to yell but my father interrupted her trying to call her down

“louis!” he yelled

“Cassidy what your mother is trying to say is that this may seem like what we did was reckless of us because we didn’t think of the consequences but we did and we knew we would pay the price but we didn’t think that they would use you as the price we would be paying” My father explains in one breath

I stayed silent again

Right on cue the door opened we all turned to look over at who it was seeing it was another police office

“Times up, your transit is here Mr and Mrs Ryder” the man announced opening the door more wider as two other officers came in handcuffing both of my parents

“Wait wait, I didn’t get to-”I flinged up in a rush to stop them from handcuffing both of my parents

“I’m sorry ma’am but there transit is here to take them to the county prison” he tried to reasoned out

“It’s okay Cassidy, we deserve this” my father softly spoke out

“We’ll be fine, take care of yourself baby” my mother croaked out, water falling down on her face as she shut her eyes to stop herself fork crying even more than she already was

At the sight made me cry to seeing my other cry

“Noo mom please” I cried out blinded by the water spilling out my eyes

I grabbed my hands out for my mother as officer backed me up off her as I continued crying

“Well always love you Cassidy” my father said before he disappeared out the door and so did my mother, her cries still heard bouncing off the walls

The officer used his walkie talkie calling in for sherif shoupe

I sat back down crying into my arms

“I’ll take it from here officer”shoupe I recognized his voice nearing over towards me

“everything gonna be okay Cassidy, you can always vist them” he tried to cheer me up

I only cried out more

“C’mom cassidy we can’t be in here much longer, it’s getting late and you’ll catch a cold from the way you’ve been crying” he whispered out slightly picking up my arms

I sniffed whipping my eyes to stop the tears as I got up following shoupe to his police car passing by the rest of the officers as my continued wiping my eyes to stop the water from running back down my face some more

Sheriff shoupe opened his police car door as I slowly got inside the car buckling my seatbelt, the car taking off once I did so

I turned my head to the right looking thru the window watching as the trees passed by and by all the street lights that were now on

“It’s not my place but try to give Mr and Mrs Thornton a chance before you can judge” I heard Sherif shoupe spoke out making me turn my attention towards him driving the car

“Yeah”I whispered turning my attention back outside until we reached to my destination

We arrived in the next 10 minutes as the car came to a halt infront of there lawn, he got out walking springing to my side to open the door for me

I awkwardly smiled and got out as be slamed the door shut and started walking to the front door as I followed along

I examined my surroundings seeing their lawn perfectly mowed per usual and their front porch always looking effortlessly perfect, I stopped walking behind Sheriff Shoupe as he knocked on the door waiting for an answer

It took a minute for Mrs Thornton to answer the door, she smiled seeing Sheriff Shoupe but that smile faltered a bit seeing me there

“Well, I should leave you guys to it then..Cassidy..enjoy your time with them and please don't stress over your parents there in great hands” He informed me, Turning to me as I nodded at his response

The sheriff nodded walking past me and right into his car, at Mrs Thornton opened the door more widely and gestured for me to walk in

“Come in please do” She said

As I walked in she the slammed the door shut, locking it making her way into another room in which I followed right behind her

“Mr Thornton or Topper isn't here at the moment which is great so I can just have a talk with you before I show you to your room and then you'll be meeting Both of them after they come in”she explained while taking a seat in her living room I'm guessing

“Sure” I croaked out unsure of what to really say to her

she smiled straightening her posture on the seat

“Okay good, as I'm assuming you already know you'll be the future wife of my son..”she paused looking for my reaction

I nodded pressing my lips onto a thin line looking around for a bit

“Good, there aren't many rules here but for you to always be with Topper outside, there aren't any restrictions or anything in the house…and you can't be out too late now” she finished off

“Okay” I said

“Alright, nice and obedient.. You truly are perfect” She smiled at me as I thanked her for the compliment

“Now I'm gonna show you to the room you'll be using until you and Topper graduate and you can move out and live somewhere by yourselves,” she said getting up and walking up the stairs and then making a left then up a smaller stairs in the corner where I saw three doors lined up next to each other

I hummed as she walked to the middle door opening it while walking in, following after her I got inside the bedroom and was amazed at what was infornt of me

I continued staring around the room twisting and turning as I inspected everything with my mouth agape in shock

“I know right, took my maids a few hours to get room cleaned out and changed into a girl room which was a guest room at first” She explained smiling at my reaction

She took a seat at the edge of the bed patting right next to her for me to sit down beside her, I listened sitting right down next to her

“I’ve never really had this type of experience before, since I've only grown Topper since he was young and his father and I were too busy to even try again” she sighed looking a bit sad

The head of the Criminal and Correctional Court No. 34, Laura Bruniard, investigated this Tuesday two of the accused of having sold cocaine to Liam Payne , the former One Direction member who died on October 16 after falling from the third floor of the CasaSur hotel in the Palermo neighborhood of the City of Buenos Aires, Argentina.

This is Braian Paiz , who met the late singer when he was a waiter at a restaurant in the Puerto Madero neighborhood, one of the most luxurious areas of Buenos Aires. On that occasion, the musician was accompanied by his girlfriend, Kate Cassidy , and two other people.

The other defendant who was investigated for Payne's death on Tuesday is Ezequiel Pereyra , an employee of the CasaSur hotel where the singer died two months ago.

Following the investigation, the two defendants were charged with the crime of supplying narcotics for payment , which carries a sentence of 4 to 15 years in prison, and the judge now has 10 working days to decide their future in the case.

"The hearing lasted three minutes , literally, because neither of them spoke. They only presented a written statement ," sources in the case told Infobae .

However, this media outlet had access to part of what was said in the document presented by Paiz's lawyer, Fernando Madeo Facente , to prosecutor Andrés Madrea and Judge Bruniard. It should be remembered that the Court of Appeals revoked the exemption from prison that the accused had presented and that the crime of which he is accused is not excarcelable.

Paiz, 24, from the Buenos Aires town of Berazategui, did not include anything in the document that he has not previously said publicly. He denies having sold drugs to the singer , and admits that they shared a private environment where there was no compensation.

The accused also defends himself by saying that his cell phone, which was seized by the courts, contains evidence of everything he said , according to the document that is already in the hands of the judge and the prosecutor; and where the accused rejects the accusations about the nickname of dealer that earned him insults from the victim's fans, based on his statements.

The courts believe that the chats between Paiz and Payne are the key to the accusation against the waiter who was fired from the Puerto Madero restaurant where he worked - and where he met the former One Direction member last October - after being accused of the musician's death. Security cameras are recording the conversations.

Payne checked into the CasaSur hotel at midnight on October 13. The courts accuse Paiz of having supplied the musician with cocaine on two occasions on October 14, two days before his death at the hotel: at 3:24 AM and at 10 AM.

“In the chat between Paiz and Payne from the early morning of October 14 , there is a photo of the 5-gram bag of cocaine that he offers him . In the one from the morning of that same day, he tells the singer that he has 3 grams and 7 grams. Payne takes a taxi and goes to get the drugs ,” sources with access to the file told Infobae .

Werewolf Cassidy~

he was always the biggest teddy-bear but now he’s even more cuddly

if you were dating before he was turned into a werewolf you’d have to help him come to terms with his new form

if he had been a werewolf before you got together he’d be scared to tell you because he’d be scared you’d think he’s a monster

you’d catch him napping in his wolf form and he’d wake up due to his sensitive hearing

it’s the first time you see him absolutely petrified

he’d be sobbing apologetically as you approach him

he’d be so sorry that he didn’t tell you sooner

he was just scared you’d never accept him

when you console Cassidy he’d be able to calm down a little

his fur is soft and he gives even better cuddles in wolf form, especially on the winter

you could help him brush out his thick coat when he starts shedding

it feels much better when you brush him out compared to when he does it himself. but he’ll never admit that to anyone

An Argentine waiter accused of supplying Liam Payne the drugs that led to his fatal fall from a hotel balcony in Buenos Aires is speaking out for the first time.

Braian Nahuel Paiz, 24, is one of three suspects charged last week for their alleged involvement in the former One Direction member’s Oct. 16 death. Charges included abandonment of a person followed by death, and supply and facilitation of narcotics, per a Nov. 7 statement from the National Criminal and Correctional Prosecutor’s Office of Argentina.

But while Paiz in a Friday interview with Telefe Noticias admitted to two hotel meetings with Payne prior to the singer’s death, he insisted he never supplied the 31-year-old with drugs or accepted any money from him.

Paiz first met Payne on Oct. 2, he told the outlet, when the singer was dining with girlfriend Kate Cassidy and two others at the Puerto Madero restaurant where Paiz worked. Payne seemed to already be under the influence of drugs at that point and didn’t eat anything, Paiz said.

At the restaurant, Paiz continued, Payne asked him for his contact details: “I gave him my Instagram, and then he sent me messages, because he wanted to do drugs, I think he was going to a concert or something.”

That night, Payne attended former bandmate Niall Horan’s show at the Movistar Arena, where the two allegedly made amends after not being in contact for some time.

“We swapped details and saw each other later that night. It was all normal,” Paiz said, adding that Payne fetched him from downstairs at the Park Hyatt Palermo after he got lost. In the singer’s hotel room, they did whiskey shots while Payne showed Paiz some music he was gearing up to release.

Paiz claimed that he and Payne, who allegedly used a fake Instagram account, stayed in contact for several days before meeting up a second time on Oct. 13 — this time at the CasaSur hotel, where Payne later fell to his death.

“We spent the night, we did drugs together and something intimate happened,” Paiz said, noting that while he stuck to weed, Payne was allegedly doing cocaine. “I saw him acting normal, he wasn’t aggressive at all, he was really sweet. He asked me if I was OK.”

When Paiz left that night, he said, Payne again offered him money as well as clothes “so people knew that I was with him,” but he refused both. “I don’t know why I didn’t take them, I just didn’t want to take anything from him.”

Paiz said Payne asked him to hang out a third time — even showing up at his home — but the waiter said he had to work: “He said, ‘Well, it’s been a pleasure,’ and that’s the last time I saw him.”

As for Payne’s accident, Paiz said the singer was very “paranoid” days before his death, even going to the extreme of allegedly preventing people from entering his room. Left alone, he might have snapped, Paiz said.

RJ's Platinum Collection #43: Life is Strange 2

After playing both the first Life Is Strange game and the Before The Storm prequel game, I knew I eventually wanted to play the other games in the series. It took me a bit, but I eventually discovered the second Life Is Strange game was available for free on PS Plus, so I decided it was the perfect time to get my third Platinum in the franchise.

Whereas in the first game we played as a character who had time travel powers, this time we play as someone who does not have any powers, but is instead the protector of someone with powers. Our main character is Sean Diaz, a Mexican-American teenager who is forced to go on the run with his little brother Daniel after an unexpected tragedy unlocks Daniel's incredibly powerful telekinesis.

Like the first two games, Life Is Strange 2 is split into five episodes, and each episode has the same group of trophies: A trophy for having Sean, an aspiring artist, draw a picture in each episode, trophies for finding six specific collectibles in each episode, and a trophy for finishing the episode. So I opened up a collectible guide and just played through the game and enjoyed the story, collecting trophies as I went.

One fun thing I'd like to give the game props for is that Sean is actually bisexual. There are two characters, Finn and Cassidy, that Sean has the option of developing a romantic relationship with in Episode 3. I personally chose to go with Cassidy because Finn was giving me sketchy vibes, but I absolutely would be down to replay the game and choose Finn this time.

One thing that the game has is that Sean is prompted to make important decisions throughout the game that affect Daniel's morality. You basically will decide if Daniel ends the game as a good person or a bad person, and that has a huge impact on the ending based on whatever the final decision you make was. All I will say is I tried to keep Daniel good, and chose to not surrender, and that is that.

Life Is Strange 2 actually hit me in a way the first game did not. The story was so emotionally intense, and I found myself both celebrating and regretting my choices, but in the end I felt like I had an experience with Sean and Daniel that was uniquely mine. The Platinum may be just as easy as the first two games, as long as you grab all the collectibles in one playthrough, but I think the story is absolutely worth it.
