OH BOY DO I HEHEHEHE

Caine was the last to realize Pomni was in his residency (He was,, otherwise preoccupied), and was absolutely flabbergasted that Jax did such a thing as raising the dead. Caine has a strict policy on not letting humans(dead or alive) that far down in the C&A facility unaccompanied considering how many monsters reside there.It was one of the few times anyone had seen him properly upset at something Jax had done. Pomni was rightfully freaked the fuck out at a giant pair of floating teeth and eyes saying he's a long-forgotten God, needless to say, their first introductions were confusing on both ends LOL

Understandably, Pomni has a LOT of issues with herself appearance-wise. She avoided mirrors for weeks, and tried her best to keep distant from the others. Caine didn't walk on eggshells around her like the others did as she adjusted and that was something she appreciated, at least provided a little sense of normalcy. He was easy to talk to and remembered EVERY little detail.

Caine can change his form at will, but Pomni prefers his big ol' toothy head because he said he was most comfortable appearing that way.

Everyone has their own unique smells; Zooble smells like brimstone, musk, and campfire, Jax always smells like hand sanitizer and chemicals that make your nose burn, Kinger like old earth and soil, Ragatha smells comforting like your favorite old plushie, and Gangle didn't have much but she liked occasionally putting perfume on her ribbons. But Pomni always has a hint of the smell of death following her. She tried Gangle's perfumes and all sorts of scented soaps but nothing could truly mask or make it go away. It was only when Caine gifted her a bouquet of flowers that the smell was almost forgotten. Hell, maybe the plague doctors with their floral and herb-filled masks were on to something. Since then, Caine often surprised Pomni with fresh flowers, herbs, and plants to the point of her shelves overflowing with vases and pots of flowers in all states. Eventually, she gets to pressing flowers between books as a memento for every flower he's given her.

Pomni sometimes needs blood transfusions as her body doesn't make blood anymore but still needs it- she hates needles. Caine and Ragatha alternate sitting with her during it since it can take a few hours at a time and distract her with books or idle chatter until it's done. Caine is an amazing storyteller, he's existed a long time as both a noncorporeal and corporeal being and has countless stories of battles and moments long lost to time. He hasn't really had anyone to share these stories with, and the only other being who was around during all of it, well he doesn't get the chance to talk with him much these days...

Ragatha and Pomni got together first, they spent a lot more time together in the beginning since Caine only popped in once or twice a week usually. He started hanging around longer after a while and I'm getting sidetracked now I'm just imagining Pomni bursting into Ragatha's room sobbing with a "I'M SO SORRY I JUST KISSED CAINE PLEASE FORGIVE ME-" And Ragatha doesn't miss a beat, totally unphased and unbothered, "Ooh nice! Was he any good?" And Pomni's just standing there like "Wait What"

They are all very bad at communication lmao but they're TRYING THEIR BEST OKAY

Caine is not used to the concept of resting, meanwhile, pretty much all Pomni does in her free time most days is nap or laze around- it took Caine a while to not see it as a waste of time and now loves it when Pomni rests her head in his lap. He likes playing with her hair and watching her sleep peacefully.

Pomni keeps her gloves on often because she doesn't like the sight of her skeletal fingers but absolutely MELTS with palm and backhand kisses.

Caine is very touchy-feely, he rubs backs when talking idly or loops arms together, floats a little closer, and matches their pace when walking together (even imitates walking itself with little bobs in time with whoever he's walking with). On some bad joint days, Pomni has a bit of a limp from her exposed bone leg and Pomni finds it absolutely hilarious when Caine unintentionally matches that movement.

My Highly Disjointed Ramblings About Jax and Jax Theories

JAX H. LECTER So someone over on Bluesky asked why everyone was forgiving/ignoring Jax cannibalism.

And my dude: Baby boi did not actually "eat" anybody.

We saw he just gnawed, shook, and tugged on Gangle.

He did not actually tear, or shred her. He did not swallow ever. It was all just play acting. Demented? Yes. But its a VIDEO GAME. Same with when he mauled Pax. He grabbed him, and shook him like a dog with a chew toy.

The only sounds were growling and screaming. No chewing. No swallowing. And Caine most likely just poofed the poor bedraggled NPC away in the end. Most damning evidence that Jax did not Ted Bundy his alt was Pomni's reaction tho: Pomni is a kind person, who is in no way demented. And I doubt she'd have been looking at him like this:

If he was actually sitting there ripping pieces off his twin.

So no, Jax is not a cannibal. He's a demented little hell spawn from the depths of Tartarus. (And I love that.) but he did NOT actually Hannibal Lecter anyone... ===========================

(The wtf moment that started it all. I love Jax's Toon Logic.) The only reason I even still entertain the Jax is an AI/NPC/Jax is Able theories at this point, is cause it does seem odd that while Caine's becoming more violent, and Bubble is getting raunchier than ever, Jax has seemingly suddenly become much more animalistic and emotional over all.

Also, sidenote: the Japanese distributer of GLITCH products recently put out keychains on their site, and I was kinda mind boggled about Jax's.

Everyone is holding their character items (the things they're most associated with.) So: Why is Jax holding Caine's hand? His character Item should be a KEY. (Technically Caine's should be Bubble or one of his eyes but... its still less weird then Jax.) Unless this is hinting that there's a stronger connection between Caine and Jax.

(These Idiots...) More than the Bunnydoll fans crashout, I am openly morning the loss of Jax and Gangle's toxic bromance. Like the 2nd most emotional scene for me was Jax worrying over Gangle picking Zooble over him at the beginning of the Stargazing adventure. I SCREAMED. SO. FECKING. LOUD. In every other episode these two were practically inseparable. And now here Gangle is off with Zooble, and Jax is alone, and so he turns to the only other option he had: Pomni** (Yeah, yeah you heard me: She's his rebound. I'm not sorry: Its true.) I am very very sad that the ONLY interaction we got with the Dynamic Duo was when Zooble SET GANGLE UP for taking the blame for the whole maid dress fiasco and then LET HIM CHASE HER AROUND... (I've ranted about how much this pissed me off earlier.) I do hope that Jax and Ganagle will get some time alone eventually to clear the air, cause I hate them just: Never interacting again ya know?

JAXY BOY

Jax is a very immature, very conflicted character. He's a boy whose trying way too hard to be a man. He puts on shows of arrogance and apathy to hide the deeper more depressed parts of himself. He is deathly allergic to real emotions. He's built up a narrative that nothing is real, and nothing he does matters. And in that way he protects himself: both from the insanity of the circus, and the other cast members.

I don't think he was talking about Ragatha here really. Think this might have been a bit of projection about someone else. Who? Ribbit? Kaufmo? Jax's own mother? He's def got Mommy Issues, hell, he's got Mommy Volumes and a complete Encyclopedia Britannica. WARNING: Theory Suppose it turns out he was talking about his mom. Maybe she was the one who told him that everyday, and then ultimately abandoned him, leaving him with a quite possibly abusive father who instilled in him the need to "Stop being such a whiny a lil bitch, and man up." after hearing the kid cry for his mom for a week straight.

Jax masculinity is something he's obviously gotten shit for, maybe cause of being scrawny or effeminate. I do not support the idea of him being Trans in either direction. (Mostly cause he's the only guy in the whole damn circus other then grandpa and the AIs. So back off please, its enough of a titty party without claiming him too.) but also cause I'm frankly sick of the fact that when anyone acts anywhere outside the gender norms, or tries too hard to act their gender, they're instantly labeled trans or wanna be trans. Like can we please CHILL?? Jax as stated by God aka Gooseworx is definitely a boy. A boy who has a clear dislike of women. So the thought of him secretly wanting to be one. after watching him crash out and look like he was five seconds from killing someone or abstracting just from being put in a dress. Yeah no... And again, before you talk about the hip sway or leg cross: Effeminate guys exists. GAY MEN exist. he doesn't need to be Trans or closet trans to act like that. ==== I really do hope we get a backstory on him and Ribbit. Somewhere maybe on Goose's twitter, there was talk that one of the episodes would be about when they all first entered the circus and how they changed. And if that's the case then hopefully we will get a full flashback of Jaxy and Bibby. (Maybe confirm the brother theory or Bunnyhop pairing.) anywho I probably will add more to this later, but I was up all night writing this. And the spirit is willing but the flesh is weak... [Preview] ☀️ Sunshine (Pomni x Ragatha) Chapter 6

Ragatha drifted away from the cozy embrace, warm breath shuddering in sync with the rest of her body. Her good eye peeked open — just a crack. Her hands turned slack and listless. One-by-one, her bulky fingers lost their grip on Pomni’s tunic until, at last, the ragdoll felt herself falling. 

Pomni caught her, of course — Ragatha knew she would. 

Safe and secure in the arms of her darling, the dolly pulled her legs toward her core, making herself small as her eyes dragged all the way open. It had felt like an eternity since she’d last laid her eyes upon her dashing knight, and she couldn’t stand to wait a single second more.

She was just that beautiful. 

Pomni’s hesitant smile, framed by her perennial blush, regarded Ragatha from high above. Ragatha’s face bloomed to match it. The jester brightened, too. Back and forth they went, reflecting the other’s expression until each woman’s face had been sculpted into a mask of pure radiance.

“...So?” Pomni beamed. A hint of pride had snuck into her grin while Ragatha wasn’t looking, “How was that?”

Wonderful. Absolutely, unbelievably, impossibly wonderful. Never before had Ragatha felt this kind of rush — her head fuzzy, her limbs tingling, her heart beating so quickly that it actually hurt. 

If any of her past romantic rendezvous were any indication, Ragatha had been sure that all those romance novels had been exaggerating. She didn’t think it was actually possible to become breathless at the mere thought of another person. She didn’t think the sight of a single pair of eyes could actually make the whole world cease to exist — yet here she was, cuddled up in the arms of another, stupidly in love. 

But there was no chance in hell she’d actually say any of that sickeningly-saccharine fluff out loud, of course. Goodness gracious, could you imagine? No, Ragatha’s love language was a little bit more subtle than that — and, contrary to her usual personality, a little bit meaner, too. 

“Hmph.” Ragatha crossed her arms, pointing her face toward the wall. She pursed her lips to conceal a sly smile. “Just as I suspected…”

Pomni’s newfound confidence cracked just like that, “What’s that supposed to mean?”

“It’s nothing. Just…” Ragatha teased, spinning her ankle, “Oh, nevermind.”

“Nevermind!? You can’t just say that!”

“I just did.”

“Ragatha!” Pomni fumed, “Tell me!” 

“Alright, if you insist,” Ragatha pretended to force out a hard sigh, barely able to contain her boisterous laughter. Good lord, teasing this girl would never, ever get old. “Don’t get me wrong. Kissing you was a dream come true, but,” she paused, “and please don’t take this the wrong way—”

“Spit it out, already!”

“— you aren’t a very good kisser.”

Pomni's whole body thrashed backward; her face was fully boiled. “WH-WHAT?!”

“Sorry, to burst your bubble, Sweetheart, but I’m too nice to lie to you. That was pretty bad.” Ragatha smirked, seizing hold of Pomni’s tunic once again. She pulled herself in, utterly captivated by the nervous panic spreading across the jester’s face. “Looks like I have a lot to teach you…”

“W-Well…!” Pomni squirmed in place, sweat beading on her brow, “You are pretty good at that! T-T-T-Teaching, I mean…”

“Yeah?” Ragatha laid down a trio of smooches on Pomni’s cheek, giggling all the while. “So I’ve been told~”

“Y-Yeah…!” Pomni clumsily nodded. Eventually, at the end of a long, winding stream of swallowing, stammering, and shuddering, the awkward young woman finally found her words. “So, um,” Her voice was small, and shrinking by the second,  “maybe, if it’s okay with you, you could sh-show me the right way? Using that special teaching method of yours…?” 

Ragatha blinked. “Special teaching method?”

“You know! Your, um…” the heat radiating off of Pomni’s face nearly fogged up the ballroom’s grandiose windows, “...hands-on approach?”

I did see that you're getting a bit tired of TADC asks, so feel free to put this on the back burner or ignore it entirely. That said, the TADC cast w/ a reader who has anger issues. (The reader isn't mean or a jerk, they just have emotions that are difficult to control so they can be prone to lashing out.)

TADC cast x reader who has anger issues!

uuhuhuh! this post is mostly just a lot of the characters and the reader communicating and all that because we love a thriving relationship in this house!! so apologies if some of the segments come off as.... repeating.. written as neither romantic or platonic, up to you really

CAINE:

very good at taking you away from the situation thats making you angry; i mean the dude can teleport, so getting you away from somewhere is not an issue for him... however, if you would rather he make up some excuse so its less.. embarrassing..? (this goes for other instances of intense emotion/overstimulation! bro is a king!) he will make up a scenario where youre needed elsewhere so it naturally look like you.... have to be needed... you know? basically a "mom can you say no to this so i can say you said no because i dont want to do this social thing with someone?" energy. or maybe im weird... probably defends himself if you lash out at him, but he wont lash out back. just pushing that hes not the reason youre upset (of course if this is a scenario where hes innocent) he cares about you a lot and he doesnt like seeing you this way, so its likely that hes going to power through it and help you calm down and find a solution... though if you need alone time, youre going to have to tell him as he might not be able to pick up on your body language and hints

POMNI:

probably a little intimated when you get heated about something. should stress that shes not scared of you but you can get a little intense. tries to make a list of things to help you with regulating your emotions... though given that pomni seems to be more of an anxious person rather than an angry on, some of her stuff may not work... maybe? breathing exercises definitely work, as well as detaching yourself from the scene... actually, i think pomni might be pretty solid with calming you down. as for lashing out, i dont think she would be able to stop herself from getting at least a little bit offended, especially if shes just trying to help. please be sure to apologize to her and make it up to her, lashing out at innocent parties isnt okay. hell, lashing out at guilty parties isnt okay too sometimes (this is more of a case by case thing, obviously)

RAGATHA:

very patient but i dont think she would stand for you lashing out at her when shes trying to help. very careful about not pissing you off and stresses communication between the two of you and is able to read when you need some alone time. to the lashing out thing, if you (verbally) attack her for no reason its definitely going to hurt but she knows better than to respond with anger... maybe... really depends on how shes doing and what you said. will either anger you further or make you see youre kind of being an ass to an innocent party, you know?

thinks... pretty good if you need someone to rant or vent to, very open and always offers an ear to you. tries to come up with solutions so you can avoid situations where you become angry, as well as coming up with stress relieving activities to calm you down. 10/10 love ragatha

JAX:

honestly between all the characters hes going to be the one whos going to be pushing your buttons the most. sure he cares about you, but youre not totally immune to his bullshit, you know? like yeah hes less annoying when it comes to you, but he still acts like a douchebag most of the time and pranks you every now and then. i think thats an issue for another post, though, soooooo.... so basically you getting irritated and eventually totally pissed off with jax isnt that rare of an occurrence and since jax isnt the most emotionally mature hes probably going to make a joke of it until he kind of. realizes hes actually causing issues. then he finally drops it and leaves you be. smart enough to know that you need some time to cool off, will at least make an attempt to apologize or make it up to you. probably the worst out of the bunch to have as a partner since he hardly takes shit seriously or with care... this is all coming from someone who enjoys jax, buuuuuuuuuut yk?

KINGER:

honestly the king of comfort, and i think this still applies to non-sadness/anxiety emotions. would be taken aback when you lash out at him? yes, but he will try not to be offended. bros mind is clear when he notices youre so much as slightly upset and hes working on trying to find a solution. takes you to his pillow fort. i dont think he would ask for an apology if you lash out at him unless you say something truly horrible; feels as though you were vulnerable and werent in the right frame of mind... honestly really understanding about it because he cares about you a lot, you know? not much else to be said; tries to dethatch you from the thing thats setting you off, tries to calm you down, and takes verbal lashings with grace.. though i do think some of his patience may chip if its a constant thing. but i think thats a side thing because anyones patience and understanding can only go so far, and ultimately this is an issue the reader themselves is going to have to work on

ZOOBLE:

the most likely to argue back with you if you needlessly lash out at them. zooble takes no bullshit, and if theyre trying to help you and you get onto them for trying to be a good partner/friend then they arent going to be nice about it. like i think they would say some stuff back, before sulking off. this one is definitely going to need to take a lot of time. its not so much that zooble does bad with conflict in the case of "they shut down" its more a "they can possibly instigate it due to them getting caught in their own emotions" soooooo.... you BOTH are going to need to talk about this and smooth it over if you want the relationship to last. communication and shit is key, guys. obviously this can get very heated and drawn out if zooble was innocent and just trying to help, even more so than if zooble was actually the problem. because in that case, then zooble can understand that they did something wrong and at least deserved it a little... but if they actually did nothing and were just trying to help you? no, thats not going to slide with them...

GANGLE:

okay now gangle is the "freezes up and perhaps even flees" when there is conflict, so if you lash out at her shes probably going to get really upset (like sad and feel guilty) even if she knows that she has done nothing wrong and youre upset at something else. not so much as she SUCKS at offering a distraction or means of calming you down, but she.... isnt the best at calming down a really ticked off person.... might just wait for you to cool down... if you said something mean to her please remember to apologize because knowing gangle, shes not going to ask for one out of fear that she might be pushing, or she might outright believe she doesnt deserve one. though i think that might be self projection WHOOPSIE

Thank goodness I'm not the only one who came to this conclusion! Jax may be a real jerk sometimes, but there's some signs he's not JUST a jerk. He comes across as a guy with a method to his madness, and so far I think this is that method.

For instance, despite his laid-back attitude, Jax seems to take charge of situations more often than the other humans. He's far from an ideal leader figure, but he has his own subtle ways of leaning into a role like that.

Have you noticed how casually Jax talks to Caine about what to do? His first line is him addressing Pomni's arrival to the ringmaster and whether or not they'll need to rework the theme song. And then he suggests to Caine that he should give Pomni an adventure to start her first day. Out of everyone there, Jax appears to be the most comfortable consulting with Caine directly.

Jax' odd role is even more apparent after Caine leaves. At first, Jax says he's fine with doing whatever. But a gloink to the head later and he immediately starts assigning people into groups with different jobs.

Something caught my attention about the two groups he picked out. I've heard a couple people say he chose Pomni and Ragatha to join him because they're the most mentally stable. However, I think it's the opposite.

Pomni had only just gotten trapped there minutes ago. She's obviously panicking about her new fate and hadn't grown desensitized to this world's chaos yet. Her mental state is especially vulnerable right now.

Ragatha's not fairing much better, either. She acts calm and collected on the surface, but it's easy to see her coping skills are also slipping.

Compared to Kinger and Gangle, who are more or less adapted to this world, Pomni and Ragatha are closer to full blown existential crises.

The fact Jax joined the two most likely to abstract might hint he wanted to keep an eye on them. That way, he can distract both of them from spiraling toward their breaking points as they check on their missing friend.

And he does! He snaps Pomni out of her zoned out, distant stare and scares Ragatha with a centipede to distract her.

I also think you're onto something with Jax' keys. It's not just that he has them, but that Ragatha had no idea he had them at all. You'd think an immature trickster would abuse that power to prank people all the time, but that would lead to people finding out about the keys sooner. The way Jax phrased "you've all been fine" suggests he's had them for a while. It has me wondering how often he actually uses those keys, and if it's enough to get people questioning how he got inside their rooms.

Then Jax comes face to face with abstracted Kaufmo, picks up a bowling ball, and ditches Pomni and Ragatha to flee. No one ever said he was a saint. Maybe he assumed the two would also run away after he did?

Anyway, it's still interesting that he stopped running to meet up with Kinger and Gangle, even when he could've kept looking for a secluded hiding spot. Whether or not he was looking for them intentionally is still up to interpretation.

There's also the way he lied to Kinger and Gangle about Kaufmo. This seems a little inconsistent since it was established earlier that he has no problem delivering harsh truths. So why would he lie now when he knows they'll eventually find out? Personally, I think he was waiting for a comedic opportunity to prevent as much psychological damage as possible. If the atmosphere's silly enough, the harsh news won't hit as hard.

Actually, this same logic could be applied to how he broke the news to Pomni earlier about being trapped. He interrupts Ragatha to explain the situation in a nonchalant manner to downplay the seriousness of it.

And then he indulges Pomni when she denies it all and insists it's a dream. He even reminds Pomni of her own "it's a dream" theory after Ragatha's hopeless words got to her head. This could all be him poking fun at Pomni, but what if he really was trying to help her cope?

Back to later, when Jax, Kinger, and Gangle heard Kaufmo coming closer. Jax is the only one who knows what that sound is at that moment, and he's not willing to tell the others what happened yet. So he uses his bowling ball to quickly push them into the hole and away from Kaufmo.

Again, Jax could've easily left Kinger and Gangle to figure things out on their own while he hid in the hole, but he doesn't. He pushes them into the hole first before he himself enters last.

All in all, Jax has a way of managing the people around him without them noticing. There's no arguing he's one of the morally gray ones of the bunch, but not as morally dark as he acts. I think Ragatha would've had more problems trusting Jax' judgement if he'd been entirely malicious up to that point. Although he's cheeky and rude to his friends as an unhealthy coping mechanism, I think they're still his friends at the end of the day.

This is just the pilot, though. So take all this with several grains of salt.

OKAY OKAY so so so WHAT IF Jax's goal was to prevent abstractions, absolutely terrified when learning of them for the first time, SO SO WHAT IF SEE, JAX'S PURPOSE WAS TO PREVENT ABSTRACTIONS BY BEING AN ASSHOLE BECAUSE

WHAT time would you have to think about blehh exits and glitches when your MIDN is focused on JAX being an absolute jerkwad/?!?!!? HUHH!! LIKE WHAT IF Jax had keys to everyone's room to find more things to annoy them about but to also check up on them by being an asshole but also seeing if they're thinking about exits and going insane , LOOK JAX IS the HUMANITY that the characters are missing, Seeing eveyrthing as being too jolly and perfect can drive someone INSANE!! to balance this out, Jax basically is the imperfection and or the chaos to even out the perfection and ease of everything. Caine's games were not ENOUGh as we can see . Jax keeps a cool and calmheaded appearance to potentially mask something he's hiding?? NOW I do NOT know goose in any way nor glitch productions, but I can assume that making Jax the main villain all along would be TOO cheesy and a big cliche, Sure goose said we will not like some things Jax will do in the episodes but i can assure you he will NOT be the main villain, he may even be a twist like,,.. LIKE THE THEORY I STATED ABOVE!! (refer to tl;dr) idk just that Jax being the big bad is not something viewers would enjoy, right? Viewers might enjoy it more if zooble was the big bad or Pomni even!! (probably not but you get my point) And what is C&A HMM?!?!??! JAX is the chaos everyone needed in this unbalanced digital hell, Though even his distractions were not enough for the previous characters before him unfortunately, but they may have abstracted for reasons not even jax could distract them from!! Like , Kaufmo as they stated abstracted recently and when Pomni arrived maybe THAT distracted jax from distracting kaufmo into not abstracting?? oh mt gODD!! Jax is HIDING many things i can sense it, we can ALL sense it and nandndn,,,, ANYWYS ANYWAYS THANK YOU FOR READING!! HAVE A GREAT DAY!!

tl;dr: Jax prevents abstractions by distracting the gang from a potential exit and glitches in the circus by annoying them.
