This is the original comment I left on Green’s 24 hour couch video.

In the spirit of the exercise, I’ve decided not to edit or delete it. As a participating audience member, I’m part of this narrative now, and I’m not gonna pretend I didn’t do what I’ve done.

However, in the time since I posted it, I’ve had some thoughts.

Near the beginning of this arc, people were saying that Green’s descent felt a bit rushed on the part of Alan’s team. In response, I theorized that maybe Green hadn’t truly gone through the “arc” we’d expect an established influencer to go through to get to this point; I hypothesized that, instead, Green was simply replicating what he himself saw online, without necessarily understanding what made it engaging.

I was reminded of my hypothesis when my friend @celestialaviva remarked that the video description made them worry. So I had another look and…

I got to thinking.

Green isn’t the type to leave things unfinished. Green is a perfectionist. Green is competitive.

It would be extremely out-of-character for Green to fake this challenge. Nevermind that sitting and doing nothing for an entire day is as un-stickfigure-like an activity as I can imagine; if that was the challenge, Green would see it through to his utmost ability.

And then I remembered my own theory:

Green is a novice content creator.

Alan’s team, the ones charting the course of Green’s arc, are the ones who understand what is really going on here…not Green, the character.

What if the video wasn’t faked? What if he actually did spend 24 hours doing nothing on a couch, thinking that’s what people wanted to see from him because timed challenges are popular?

And now he’s getting heckled for it.

People are taking this video in bad faith because of what we’re used to from lazier and more established content creators, all because of some poorly-thought-out editing choices on Green’s part.

And I’m one of these people.

I originally started drafting this post at 3pm EST, I know something else has happened since then but I haven’t been able to look yet. So this post may be irrelevant already as far as the ongoing storyline is concerned but I’m still sharing it because I feel like the reflection is worthwhile.

I did end up leaving another comment on the video. Maybe in twelve hours I’ll wish I could take back this one too, who’s to say.

Queues: A Guide

I've noticed recently that Queue usage isn't what it used to be, and I decided that a small guide in regards to what it is would prove potentially beneficial to those who may not entirely be aware of it. There's been an influx of people who have joined this website and may not know everything that there is to offer to be able to better convenience themselves, so here it is!

What is the Queue?

Queues are a method of posting that many people tend to use. It holds reblogs and posts until a certain time before releasing them into the public. They can be in a random order, in a particular set, or even shuffled in the queue itself. You can set this queue to post several times a day, and several times within those times of day. It is a relatively easy section to find on your blog, found when you enter your blog on the left bar.

As an example, I'll use my own blog as a reference. It is between drafts and the Blaze button.

Are there extensions or other options for the Queue that are offered?

There are a couple of these types of options you can look for! Keep in mind, I do NOT use the Tumblr Labs section (that is in the settings) for the Queue, otherwise known as Queue 2.0. This is something that I will explain rather quickly, however.

As the image provided by the option itself implies, this allows you to queue posts over a certain interval over a set time. This example they give shows that it will post 2 posts every 15 minutes between those times. In other words, two posts will pop at 10:30, 10:45, and so on until the 1pm time, where it will post at the 1pm time and then finish for the day. If this is something you'd like to experiment with to see if you can get something you like over the usual queue options, feel free to use it!

I do, however, use XKit Rewritten, which can be found on most browser shops as far as I'm aware of. This extension has a few options in regards to the queue.

While the top and bottom ones are self-explained, the Quick Reblog option makes it so that when you hover over a reblog button, you can find options to draft, queue, or post a reblog from right there! It includes the capability to select your sideblogs, as well as add tags there without having to open the reblog popup.

How does the queue work for settings?

As a quick example, here is the queue for my main blog! With it being set up like this, it means that one post will be posted per day between those times. This makes a post pop at noon in my local time. If I want to speed my queue up, I set it to twice a day at the same time. This makes posts pop up at 9am and 3pm my local time. This can be altered to your liking, with your queue showing when each post will come up above each post.

Why should I use this?

There are several reasons behind using a queue, depending on the community! I shall reference the RPC as my main examples as to why, however. Most people in the RPC use this to queue drafts up to post at a later date, and here are some reasons why they do this!

Not everyone has muse all the time. Queuing up posts makes it easier for threads to come back to them in a more extended period of time. This gives people more time to respond to threads, especially people who don't constantly have muse, or have IRL things they need to do outside of writing.

It's less overwhelming to RP partners. Getting spammed of all the replies that you owe can be overwhelming to some, and make it difficult for people to want to reply in a timely manner. This makes people who aren't always on for various reasons feel as if they need to respond all at once, even at the cost of various potential things as a consequence. It might also cause people to want to have a thread cap long-term, especially if a lot of people do this on a regular basis.

It can be less overwhelming for you. You don't have to feel the need to constantly be on all day, every day, responding to threads. Queuing them up can get them brought back to you gradually over time, as mentioned before, for other partners get the same benefit.

You can also queue up memes, aesthetics, and other things to buff your queue up, making it all the more gradual for yourself. Some people get less overwhelmed this way, as it gives them time before their queue runs out.

You can set your queue to post when you are certain you won't be online, such as when you are working, sleeping, or otherwise. If you know you have mutuals that aren't online at the same time as you, it can help you reach out to them on the dash without having to be awake for it. Not everyone scrolls their dash when they get on for the day. So this can especially make it easier when you have threads that might not notify the RP partner, or if you are going to be offline for a period of a few days and wish to convey this to the rest of your mutauls.

These are just some of the reasons, and there is quite possibly more that I haven't mentioned. From raw convenience to respect for your RP partners and dash, this can be a great way to make things easier for everyone involved!

FINAL POWER DECISION

As I feel the delusion, the Breaker form aesthetics and the benefit/consequence from fate breaker should match the power, we are at a point where I will take suggestions for what the power should be.

So long as we have a rough idea, we can build on that for the final product. But I have no more questions until we've got that I think, as all the questions are dependent on having a rough shape for the power.

I have one, which I will detail below, but I would prefer to give you options to vote for.

My idea:

Temporal displacement:

When they transform, they can displace any actions they do or interactions they have to any point along the timeline of the transformation. I.e I'd they transform at 2pm and turn back 5pm, they can have a punch they did at 230 occur at 4. Notably the stranger aspect is that this also effects any sounds and the interactions of their body with light. They can sneak into your complex at 3pm, then distort time so you see the image of them sneaking in an 4pm.

It's rough, and we would have to vote on the specifics and limitations, but that's my first draft for a warp stranger breaker.

Ohhhhhhhh my god I'm so fucking done

we agreed. last week. that we would release a blog today from our CEO talking about the Programme for Government that's due tomorrow.

I spent a solid chunk of last week drafting that up, drafting up some graphics to lay out our policy priorities, and writing an email blast to our mailing list laying them out in an accessible, untechy way.

I would have preferred to release the blog Friday and use the graphics to link to that but BC of how much Stuff was happening I couldn't rely on getting the blog signed off before the end of the day on Friday so the plan was ALWAYS linkless social posting Fri-Mon then post the blog and send the email Monday lunchtime.

So it's currently 3:50am, curious what time it'll be by the end of this (most likely essay of a) post, I mean do you expect any less of me?

So it's 3:50am and I am almost done bleaching and coloring my hair 🙃. I'm actually like really, really excited for this. The bleaching didn't get to a blonde, more like a light peach... I'll post pictures later. But I almost, for a split second was like should I just leave it like this??? Cause I thought it looked good lmao. The bottom had a slight tint of pink. My hair was red last summer.... I'll save the rest of this for the finished product post lol.

So when I think back.. I've been awake since like 3pm Friday and had a 2 hour "nap" this morning. Like for me right now it's Saturday night in my eyes. So in the last 37 hours I slept for 2 of those kinda in the middle. Hmm.... And like I'm not tired. Which is strange. But I'm probably going to stay up til the sunrises around 7, go out and shovel and then come in and go to bed. Or maybe I'll be energized and I'll stay up even longer doing god knows what.

So I did attempt to go to sleep at like 7am this morning but then got stuck in the past. I have legit 2 things in my drafts about this so let me try to make it shorter and sweet. This morning I put a song on repeat to fall asleep to and it reminded me of this past fall and then I thought back to the video diaries I used to make (mostly when I was drunk and emotional). So I watched a couple of them trying to find a specific one cause I had said something that really stood out to me after watching it but I couldn't find that video.

Fast forward through the day, all my errands with my Nana (I'll get back to those) and I'm refilling all the Air Wicks in my apartment, I have like 4, and I didn't realize the scent I chose was one I had back in the fall. So now this, quite lovely scent, is all throughout my apartment and it just feels like I'm back in that shitty time period. Which I guess kind of makes sense? Like emotion wise it's similar. I actually found a different video this morning and started editing it shorter (instead of trying to sleep) cause I vaguely talked about SI thoughts and hopeless and I made a couple good points that I think could be relatable but honestly.. I don't know what was more sad, hearing the pain in my voice back then or realizing that everything I said, how I felt, what I thought back then.. still applies 3 months later.

Anywho I might make a different post of my errands/day but I'll just say this. Me and my Nana left at 11am and we didn't get back til like 6 and I just felt so overly stimulated by her. It wasn't bad, she wasn't that annoying tbh, just talked a lot. In fact I said to her on the drive home "I'm sorry I was irritable today (she actually said to me at one point "why are you so irritable?" 🙄).. it doesn't have anything to do with you I've just been having a hard time lately". Which I don't know if she couldn't hear me or didn't understand what I was saying but I had to reframe it a couple times and thus ended up sounding irritated again 😐.

About a half hour after I got home I FaceTimed with a friend who I haven't talked to/FaceTimed in so long. She lives in NC so I don't get to see her that much. Honestly I felt so hyper the second I got home, like the complete opposite of during the day... Like bouncing off the walls, making stupid "haul" videos of the places I went to as if I was going to make a Tik Tok about it. Speaking of, I also have videos from the beach today-another Tik Tok I wanted to make and I filmed parts of the hair bleaching/dying process. Like back in the fall I did this all the time. All these ideas and videos and never even made them into anything. Just taking up so much space in my phone. I seriously need to clear it out.

Okay it's 4:12, I need to go rinse this out.

Proofs that Pedro Pascal and Y/n Y/l/n are dating, (part 3)

I had this in my drafts since, well April. No! I actually started in march. The dates are actually when I wrote those little moments. I wasn’t confident enough to publish it but now I care less so I’m publishing it anyway (before I chicken out). I’m trying to be more active and change my mind! It’s not easy these days.

23.04.23, in the morning, around 11am

It’s actually two different times, but it’s after y/n posted a video that day that the fans made the connection. A week ago approximately, Pedro posted a story of him talking about a new movie coming that one of his close friends was in. He was in bed. We could see the covers, grey with white dots. Nothing much, yet. But it’s on the 23rd, that it changed. Y/n posted a video of new clothes she bought. She put them all on her bed, to try and show everything. And that’s when we saw, again, the same cover, grey with white dots. How strange. Their fans immediately made the connection and went crazy about it. But neither Pedro nor Y/n said anything.

24.03.2023 in the afternoon, around 3pm

In a interview a while ago, as she was asked what was her nighttime routine before bed, y/n said that she was reading short stories, that it was helping her relax and get lost in her imagination, which led her to fall asleep very quickly. “That’s also why I only read before bed, because I will fall asleep if I read, so it’s not so good to do it any other time” she said. It might seem innocent and unrelated to Pedro, but bare with me for a minute.

On the 24rd, y/n was bored, and decided to start an Instagram live. At some point, she saw that Pedro was in the comments and told him to join her. So he did. Fans were asking them lots of question, but at one point, this one popped up “what are you guys currently reading?”. Y/n answered and said that she was reading “Kiss kiss” by Roald Dahl.

“Short stories are my fav” she said. “And there’s this one story that I really liked, about a woman murdering her husband” Pedro laughed as she summed up the story.

“Oh yeah I remember that one! We actually read it together” Pedro added.

It’s then on Twitter later that day after the live ended, that we could see videos from that old interview y/n did, but only the part about reading short stories before bed. Their fans instantly linked those two moments. They are dropping hints!!!

29/30.04.2023: during the night

A few people tweeted about seeing Pedro and y/n in a bar with some friends. Apparently they were sitting next to each other and were seen being pretty close.

“We were two tables away from them and we could see y/n leaning on him, there was some frequent touching , arms and thighs, they seemed really close”

A new interview featuring Pedro Pascal and Y/n Y/l/n just dropped today in the afternoon. A new movie is upcoming, in which they are together. As Pedro is known as the daddy of internet, he obviously got asked at some point if it was bothering him or if he still liked it.

“I love it! It’s funny, I don’t know where it is coming from since I don’t have kids, but I love it. I’ll be their daddy forever” he said, looking straight at the camera

“Forever? At some point you’ll be their grandpa” Y/n said laughing. Pedro faked being shocked.

After a few questions, he was also asked if he had already read fanfictions about himself.

“No I haven’t, as I have already seen some tik toks about me, I never actually read anything and I don’t want to” he laughed

“I did” Y/n added out of nowhere

“I’m sorry what?” Asked Pedro, this time not faking the shocking expression.

“You read fanfictions about Pedro?” The interviewer asked Y/n

“Yeah! I’m curious.”

“What kind did you read?” The woman asked Y/n. She started to blush, which kind of revealed what she had read. “Okay from your expression we sense what you read” they all laughed.

“No no! I mean, maybe one or two pretty heated ones but no, there were like normal. It’s just my curiosity, it’s not like I read hundreds of fanfictions, it was just for fun. And it’s also really surprising to see how accurate they are actually” she laughed

“Wait, what do you mean accurate?” The interviewer asked. Looking at the woman who was interviewing them, you could see she was sensing that something between Pedro and Y/n was happening. And when you looked at Pedro and Y/n it seems like they realized what Y/n had said and what was going on. They seemed surprised and a little nervous.

“Hm- well, I mean, how- well, the way they make him talk, parts of his personality.. I also read a few about Joel and Peña, and well yeah, they’ve never seen Pedro but they write about him, and it’s.. well.. accurate” she laughed awkwardly.

“Oh okay, I thought about something else” the woman laughed. “I’ve read some and it was- heated” they all laughed

“Please I don’t want to know about it” Pedro said. (It was a close one)

10.05.2023 during the afternoon

Pedro and y/n were seen at the mall. Y/n was in line waiting for her drink order at some coffee shop. Pedro was waiting outside, smoking. Some fans came to ask him pictures. One took a video of their interaction with him. We were only seeing Pedro talking to the fans.

“What happened to your neck?” The fan asked. We can see Pedro confused.

“My neck?” He touches his neck to see if he could feel something but nothing. “Do I have something on my neck?” Another fan showed him the picture they took a few minutes before. We can clearly see that he has, in fact something on his neck : a hickey. Which he wasn’t aware of. “Oh” Pedro said, suddenly becoming red. He laughed awkwardly. Before he could add anything we can here a woman’s voice, it was Y/n. The video then showed her, talking and smiling to the fans here. Then the video ended.

This interaction went viral on Twitter (not really surprising). It raised even more suspicions, if they aren’t making it official, people are doing it for them. Proofs are piling up, it’s becoming difficult not to see it now.

Pedro and Y/n have been spotted in a restaurant with another person. They were sitting next to each other while their friend was sitting in front of them. A fan posted a video of them from another table, and in the video, we can see Pedro kiss Y/n’s shoulder. They are not even hiding anymore! Or.. they are pretending?? Playing with us? We need an official statement!! We can see them going out together more and more, what is going on?

21.05.2023, around 10pm

Pedro and Y/n were seen entering a hotel. It was late, they only had one luggage and a backpack, and apparently a member of the staff of the hotel said that they only took one room. Is it true? They may have separate beds but we will never know. This is suspicious…

24.05.2023, 9:12pm

As we know Pedro was at Lux’s graduation. But, what we didn’t know until the hotel part, was that Y/n was there too. She apparently wasn’t at the graduation, but an interesting Instagram story appeared during the weekend. It was just a simple video, as many as there are, of Pedro dancing, in what seemed to be Lux’s apartment, dancing with her, and there was a third person dancing right behind them : Y/n. In the middle of the video, we see Nicolás, Pedro’s brother, entering the room, laughing at the scene. The story was on Lux’s Instagram and was captioned “this one was almost deleted. I would cherish that day forever 🤍” as she tagged Pedro, Nicolás, Y/n, and another person.

Pedro posted a story of Y/n. They were apparently watching a movie together, but we can see in the video that they were in bed, next to each other. Even more suspicious! In the video, he is trying not to laugh, as he films Y/n, as she was extremely focused in the tv show they were watching. She was frowning, and not taking her eyes off the screen. He captioned “she is so focused in the tv show she apparently didn’t find interesting at first”. The next day Y/n finally saw the story, and reposted it saying “well, you’ve never seen your face! I’ll get my revenge you bastard”. They were in bed together! That’s all we are going to remember.

hi im back from my mini hiatus so ill be posting the few random stuff in my drafts until i get back to postcard legacy! ill try to stick to a schedule now, queue at gmt time

once a day: at 10:30 pm and tzr between 1-3pm

if twice a day: between 1-3pm/10:30 pm tzr before those times

post every other day or no weekend posts depends
