Denmark's postal service has announced it will stop delivering letters. PostNord, which serves Denmark and Sweden, said it would deliver its last letter on 30 December this year, as it announced a raft of changes to its services that it said would meet shifting demand. This included making around one-third of its workforce of 4,600 people redundant - with 1,500 jobs set to be cut.

I have now received multiple notices from the post office that I have a package waiting for pickup. Every time I go there, they insist that they don't have it. Every time, they tell me that I haven't paid the customs fees, I remind them that I have, and they look it up and see that I'm right.

Every time, they tell me to come back at some kind of interval (after lunch, tomorrow, after the weekend) and every time it's still not there.

And then they treat me like I'm the insane one for expecting a package that I have received multiple reminders to pick up to be at the pickup location.

I am forever ready to fight every single person working for postnord. Be they the overworked delivery drivers(it's not their fault, but they're wearing the uniform, they're following the orders), the executives or the logistics workers etc..

classic postnord hell: charges you 25 eur worth of handling and VAT charges on a package that has had the VAT prepaid, clearly noted on the picture of the package they've included in the claim. you /can/ dispute these charges and guess what? that costs 25 eur, regardless of if you win the despute or fail it. only way of gettign out of it? if it turns out postnord is the ones who are fully at fault. which they'll never admit to. because they love hostile burocracy. IOSS filled in the wrong field? there is now way for this to be retoractively fixed, no completion the seller can send to clarify. the only advice they can give: don't pay the charge and wait the two weeks it takes for the system to send the package back (this cannot be expedited, for some reason). then hope the seller will resend the package for free, "correctly" reported this time.
