I am forever ready to fight every single person working for postnord. Be they the overworked delivery drivers(it's not their fault, but they're wearing the uniform, they're following the orders), the executives or the logistics workers etc..

Actually, burn in hell all courier companies that can't do what we pay them to do: Royal Mail, DHL and Schenker. Never had to deal with FedEx but I'm sure they're just as bad.

most of the time i can forget how much i hate this country by just thinking about something else but its very difficult to do that whenever i have to deal with postnord and as a matter of fact just nu am i seized with a murderous rage, trying to understand why books that were sent to me more than two weeks ago from within the european union have still not arrived at my doorstep

An unintentionally Way Too Appropriate shirt choice for the little trip out today! 😬

Because I got up to the checkouts in ICA just a little while ago, and realized that I had apparently dropped my card wallet out of my bag...somewhere. As usual, I'd double checked that it was where it belongs before heading out the door.

At least I did decide to try their self checkouts today, which want you to scan your card first before the items. No further stressful embarrassing exchanges with humans when I went to pay, as one saving grace.

So yeah, I rolled my little ass back through the store, searching for it and putting the refrigerated items back at the same time. No luck, of course.

I did have some emergency cash on hand, but nothing was really that pressing. And I just wanted out of there by then. Ended up just abandoning the basket with the last few non-chilled things that would require awkward one-legged standing to put back, and felt kinda bad about being That Customer. But, I just couldn't right then.

Naturally, I had gone there in the first place to pick up a couple more PostNord packages--and left that for the way out. 🙄 So, I did muster my few remaining Vaguely Socially Acceptable Masking Points to take care of that. Main objective attained? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

On the way home--keeping a sharp eye out still!--I thankfully did remember that I really needed to change my mailing address before reporting all the cards lost. Which thankfully went without a hitch, once I logged in. So, at least with any luck replacements won't get mailed to Old House back on Plague Island.

However, that may have also helped trigger the HSBC app not to let me finish properly reporting the cards lost without prompting me to call them IMMEDIATELY. 🙃 Which handy reporting option is why my half-deaf ass just reinstalled their damned app in the first place, for a more accessible way to handle the whole thing. (The regular web version just tells you to call?)

So, I had better finish bracing myself and bite that bullet very very soon this evening. Now that I'm at least semi-settled in at home where it's quieter BECAUSE I CANNOT HEAR WORTH SHIT even with headphones. What I plan to tell them if they press me about the "immediately" part, possibly a tad more politely. Maybe not.

I really do hate their poor accessibility in general, but yeah. The further surprise factor doesn't make it any easier to deal with. But, mega-banks. 👿

Hei tyypit, muistakaa että maanantaina alkaa postilla lakko ja että lakon aikana ei käytetä lakon kohteen palveluita. Eli vaikka ne sanoo että pakettipalvelut tulee pelaamaan niin älkää vittu tilatko mitään paketteja postin kautta, PostNord tai Matkahuolto tms toimitus ainoastaan.

Jos teille rikkurit tuo lakon aikana postia niin älkää niille vittuilko, ne on silti työläisiä ja meidän kanssa samalla puolella vaikka ne onkii vitun tyhmiä ja ruvennu rikkureiksi. Ne on suurella todennäköisyydellä ulkomaalaisia joita muutenkii riistetään. Kaikki vittuilu annetaan Postille sinne pomoille minne se kuuluu. Jos Posti palkkaa lakon aikana rikkureita niin se viha annetaan sinne Postille ei niille rikkureille. (Mut jos tunnet henk.koht. rikkurin niin sano sille suorat sanat ystävyyden merkeissä ja et siit rikkuroinnist voi tulla myös sosiaalisia seuraamuksia koska onhan rikkurointi selvä merkki itsekkyydestä ja solidaarisuuden puutteesta et sellasen kaverin ystävyyttä olis syytä harkita uudelleen...)

There will be a postal strike in Finland starting Monday and this post is a reminder to not use the services of companies that are targets of a strike. So even though Posti says packages will be delivered, do not order packages and have then delivered by Posti, opt for a different company for delivery.

And if you are receiving mail during the strike delivered by scabs, don't harass the scabs, they're still workers and on our side even though they are dumb as fuck and scabbing. They're most likely foreign and much more at risk of exploitation. All the hate and harassment should be aimed at Posti and the bosses who hire scabs during a strike. (But if you know a scab personally you could tell them straight how fucking dumb they are, and that there could be social consequences for scabbing, in the least, the friend is showing that they're selfish and have no solidarity and maybe you should reconsider friendship with someone who won't have your back...)

This is a few years old - Kungliga Postverket and the Danish equivalent has been semi-privatised away into a shit shared service called PostNord that everyone hates. Also we have private post services now for some fucking reason.

I just need to vent a bit.

I really really really hate PostNord with a burning passion 😡

Not only do they frequently loose my packages because they forget to note that they left it at the post office, they also refuse to knock when delivering packages and most of the time they dont drop of the -Sorry we missed you- note, so I at least know that there is a package waiting for me. I’m just so fed up with it!

Also I’ve asked that they dont just leave the package outside my door, because I live in a small highrise amd people can just steal my stuff if they want. But of course they just randomly leave them at my door anyway. I even called and complained about it, but it has definately not worked, because my husband found a package outside the door the other day.

And right now I’m super upset because I just found out that a package has most likely been shipped back, because it was left at the post office and I was not made aware of it. I got an e-mail on one of my alt e-mail account about it instead of the e-mail they usually send notes to and by then it was too late. So tomorrow I have to call the post office and figure out if it has been sent back and if so, I have to contact the store I bought the item at and figure out if they’ll resend it 🤬
