Albedo x Pyro vision! reader

So this is going to be my first one shot on this platform! I hope you guys like it!

Tw: gore,sevear cold. Death.

It was only ment to be a quick trip in order to gather some of the materials Albedo needed for his next experament. Thats all that was suposses to happen.

Flash back 20 minuets:

The cold winds whiped around the small lab hidden within the mountian. But despite the icy winds the torces and fires kept the labs ocupants warm and comfratble. Albedo stood hunched over a table inspecting something he found important to his mission to figure out life. Right now the man wanted to test the ability to reverse ageing so he was inspecting a perfectly bright red ripe apple, and a brown musshy rotten apple. But Albedo wasent alone this time. Off to his right sat his partner who was contently sketching away in the new sketchbook Albedo had gifted them. The blond softly smiled fond of the memory before clearing his throat in order to get his lovers attention. You looked up from your drawings raising and eye brow questingly twords Albedo." Im running low on a few materials I will need for my experaments. Would you like to join me as I gather what I need?" He asked adjusting his gloves. You smile and stand from the old wooden chair you had been sitting in." Yha I'll come with you it will be fun." You said putting your sketchbook away into the bag you typicaly carry with you. Albedo nodded and off the two of you went leaving behind the warmth of the lab and into the bitter cold of Dragenspine.

This led to where you are now. Albedo used his geo vision while you used your pyro vision to melt and break away at the monsters shield. When the two of you were ment to get the final ingredant Albedo needed you ended up insted running into a lone Frost Lawachurl. The strong icy winds had long since blown out the torches that were once lit to provide heat and the cold quickly began to take effect on you and even Albedo. Usually you would just relight the torches but you were to busy at the moment to relight them. You swung your blade at the Lawachurl only for the beast to block your advances throwing you back into a thick,hard wall of ice. The sounds of ice and bones breaking could be heard as you collided into it back first." Y/n!" Albedo called out which was a mistake in it's own. With his attention solly on you, Albedo had left himself wide open. The Lawachul slashed at Albedo,it's giant claws diging deep into the alcamest's flesh. Albedo cried out in pain, falling to the ground,his blood already begining to pool around him. You called out to him, only to duble over as pain clouded your senses. By the pain you felt in your side and chest you could easly tell the colison had broken a few ribs and posibly punctured a lung. Yet, you still found yourself draging your body to the one person who you cared more about then any one else. Warm tears already began falling from your eyes increasing when you reached your lover. You slowly pulled his head into your lap,the small puffs of white fog comeing from his mouth leting you know he was still breathing. Still alive. But for how much longer would it stay like that? The damage you both took was fatal. Albedo was loosing blood to quickly, ans had sustaned many damaged organs. You had a punctured lung and were bleeding enternaly,which you could tell by the thick and matalic tasteing liquid coating youre tounge. Add that amount of damage with the below zero tempratures that only contenued to drop and you're fate was sealed. You began to gently run shaking fingers through Albedo's nappy blond hair smoothing it out while whispering sweet nothings to him. "Y/n" he began,"I am so sorry I was unable to protect you. It is my job as a Knight of Favonious even if I am only an Alcamest. But it was also my job as your boyfriend to proect you, but I failed and now were going to die here." He choked out beging to choke on his own blood. You wiped the tears from his cold and rosey cheeks. His chest heaved with every strained breath and his once light pink lips began to turn blue his skin growing sickly paler challanging the snows color. "It was not your fault my love. Please do not blame yourself." You rasp out. With every strained breath you took, it would send waves of hot white pain through your body. The blood previously pooling in your mouth began spiling out,running down your chin and dripping onto Albedo's hair below." Nether of us were prepared. It was only fate we would die like this." You manage to choke out. Tho it remaned silent, and it was as the winds and the world around came to a still. The small puffs of air had stoped leaving Albedo's mouth, now replaced with his own blood. His now liflesy body lay limp agenst yours. You bring a shakeing hand up to your lips before touching them to Albedo's own." Sleep well my prince." You said as you slowly closed your eyes letting the cold and exoustian over take your body. With one final labored breath, you sliped away into the relese of death to once more be with your most beloved.

Hello Anon! Thank you for telling us ^^ I contacted the other group doing it, maybe they didnt notice or maybe they didnt care and since they are doing it from the beginning, that’s not that bad. It could be worse. Maybe they didn’t notice because we don’t upload our proects in mangadex ^^U and seems like if you don’t put things on mangadex, it’s like you worked on nothing. *shrugs*

TW: discussions of the effects of child abuse and neglect

So this ties into something that I’ve been thinking for a while. I don’t talk about my kids much, so a little background is necessary. Two of the kids I have currently are kinship foster kids (relatives I’m fostering through Child Protective Services). They experienced abuse and neglect. They’ve been with more than a year and a half at this point. Before anyone asks, they are doing better and we are planning to adopt them when we can. I mention this only to support the idea that I know what kids reacting to neglect/abuse looks like, and because I have talked to their therapist and done research to help them. So I have a layman’s understanding of this, and a personal bias toward reading that anyway. Take that as you will.

First Season, I read the subdued reactions of The Child as the symptoms of abuse and neglect. Not all kids have the same reactions, but emotional withdrawal as an attempt to proect oneself from emotional pain is normal. One of my kids refused to show attachment to much of anything because then it wouldn’t hurt if we took it away from them. 

Let’s think about Baby’s life when Mando found him. All we really know is that he’s locked in a basinnet in a fortress and in the “care” of violent men -- not violent “I do violence when I feel it’s necessary” like Mando but men that likely were cruel. The fact that the baby doesn’t speak means either he’s too young to, or no one was talking to him. We have a small window for learning language as babies and we learn by people talking to us. No one was interacting with him. He was being neglected and treated as a thing, not a person.So while he’s with these assholes, a lot of his development probably slowed or stopped. We don’t know how long that was -- days, years or even a couple decades. It probably stunted him, though.

So in Ep 1, Mando saves the baby from death, and the baby saves him in Ep 2. I think that they latter was a result of the first save, basically the Kid went, “he protected me, so I’ll help him.” For this short period, while Mando is somewhat dismissive of him, he also interacts with him. He feeds him. He protects him. This is a definite step up. Then he leaves him with The Client.

In Ep 3, Mando saves the baby, who was unconscious for much of the rescue. He started to wake only at the end, to see Mando leaning over him. The last time he’d seen Mando before was when Mando had left him with The Client. It’s why I think that Baby has no reaction to Mando getting in a fight with Cara in Ep 4. He was feeling rightly feeling hurt about being ABANDONED. Then at the end of 4, Mando takes him away from the one good place the baby has seen recently, and maybe the only one he remembers (kids don’t have great memories until 4 or 5). 

In 5, Mando leaves him with the strange lady (after leaving him alone sleeping so that Baby wakes up disoriented and alone when Mando had been there when he fell asleep) for more than a day and a night, and some asshole takes him and Peli captive. Mando has to rescue him again.

In 6, there’s the mess with the baby getting messed with by Ran’s fuckers, and then almost killed by Zero. The baby literally tried to defend himself before Mando showed up in time. But the important thing is the conversation at the end, where Mando’s just chatting casually with the kid. He’s interacting and treating him like a person. I really feel like this is where things shifted (at least that we see onscreen) and trust started to build. Although Mando wears a mask so there is no facial communication and limited body language, he’s clearly providing. At this point, Mando is showing up for the baby, he’s caring for him, and he’s not locking him away all the time. This is the start of when the kid can start to feel safe enough to start development again.

7 and 8 are mostly fights but the aftermath of 8 would have been the point that Mando really started to care for him. He starts taking him everywhere. He’s talking to him, letting him be part of his life and get stimulation. 

Hence, I think yes, he’s hit another development spurt and possibly a physical one, too. One of my kids jumped two clothing sizes and four shoe sizes in their first six months with us because they were getting nutrition, love, stimulation, etc (the other did too, just not as dramatically). They had security, and that’s what the brain needs to grow. 

For truely horrible and in-depth look at how neglect, abuse, and malnutrition can impact development, you can read up on the Romanian orphans left after the fall of Communisim. Basically, parents could leave their kids with at these state-sponsored places, and if they were too “abnormal”, they were basically put in buildings with no time outside, no real caregiving, little food, etc. The developmental impact on these kids were crushing. Most of them never lived a normal life.

tl;dr: I think that Baby Yoda was neglected and abused before Mando, and in Season 2 he’s finally feeling safe enough to start to grow again.

The child seemed a little more mature this season. My dad even said he looked like he grew a little bit from the last chapter. I love we get to see even more of him this episode, living his best life. He's so precious following daddy din around. The child seems to be interacting with his environment differently than last season too. Makes me wonder if he got any stimulation with his previous caretakers. I bet daddy din is talking and playing with him more, making the baby's brain develop!

He definitely did. I think his ears might even be a little bit bigger (I was thinking this yesterday after looking at a side-by-side comparison, but maybe it’s just me!), too, so he could be growing in that aspect! I’m sure Din likes to keep him as active as he can.

Sustainable Development is the meeting our human development goals and have ability to provide and help the economy and the society needs and wants

Hunger and malnutrition have a ripple effect that’s slow development. Poor and inadequate nutrition also leaves children vulnerable to disease and illness and can cause stunted growth. Globally, one in a nine people in the world today is undernourished and leading cause of death.

We all have right to food. Everyone have the right to a standard of living adequate for the health and well being of ourselves and of our family, including foods. It is time to rethink how we grow, share and consume our food. If done right, agriculture, forestry and fisheries can provide nutritious food for all and generate decent incomes, while supporting people centered rural development and protecting the environment, and in the end if we help each other to our use of sustainable development we can achieve what we want, we can get what we want to get, and we can destroy the in our society. Being as one and helping each other and help from our government and agriculture no one will be death causing of hunger we can kill hunger we can make the zero hunger in the world by supporting and helping our society and if we proect and don’t destroy our nature.
