Realised you guys haven’t met Mocha - Truffle’s future girlfriend! She’s a gorgeous visual Sable and other than being hissy and preferring to be drop fed she’s a delight. She comes out often and likes looking out the window at the garden. I love seeing those dark tones develop and watching her grow up. She’s pretty small despite her age..my other girl Luna is bigger than her and she’s 2 months younger. I think Mocha was given a maintenance diet rather than for growth before she came to me. Either way, she’s putting on some size now and looking great 🤎

I have the coolest idea ever for my next big dbd themed project but woooow finished work today and too beat to even start doing anything to meaningfully progress it. I made some sketches last night though, and some more throughout today. just working on skin ideas.

anyway-- the piece will be original characters ONLY, with the exception of vecna (and I guess technically aestri). so dnd themed, as you can infer.

BUT I plan to do a totally separate bonus steve, nancy, and lucy for sure. perhaps some other licensed characters too, depending on my energy levels.

what class do other people think steve and nancy fit? lucy is a bard, obviously, as they're a drag performer. but I feel like steve could fit fighter, paladin, or barbarian, while nancy could be a wizard or a rogue?

sable takes a good moment to stare at the unknown before narrowing her eyes and throwing the pebble in her hand straight for its head. someone's not happy.

It's shoulders spasm, its fingers twitch, snap, like twigs underfoot. It shudders, jerks, awkward and unstable. It tilts its head, its neck popping, squelching, it hangs at an unnatural angle. A hanged man long after he had rotted on the noose. It feels her gaze, pinpricks across its entire body. It lurches, forward, shunned and beckoned, hindered and welcomed by her eyes alone. Oh how it hates it. Hates the eyes that look. The eyes that see. That gaze. That know. It never ceases its smile, its skin stretched back as if hooks had been pulling back its flesh. Blood drips from its lips, dribbles across its chin.

It knows her. It knows her. She knows it. It feels it, a name put to it. Face. Ideas. Hunted and stalked, spoken of. She had sought it out. Questioned it, wanted it. Why, then, does she look so angry? The Unknown does not move as the pebble is thrown its way, though it offers her a grunt as it smacks into its head.

" SssAAblE, " It sounds pained, voices overlapping. It's a drill to the brain, nails on a chalkboard. Radio static. It gurgles in its throat, another step taken forward. It's heavy on its feet, lopsided. A broken foot thuds against the ground. A knee bends back, another step. The head of its ax thuds against the ground. It drags in the dirt. Another step. It feels her gaze. Her eyes. It feels it, forming, thoughts in her head. It wants to rip out her eyes. It wants to devour her brain. Why does she look angry? Why does she attack it? Did she not seek it out?
