WIRTZIALA University AU ficlet!
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
prompt by @disastrouscarrots
Word Count: 681
Synopsis: University AU in which Jamal's an architecture major whose biggest enemy is math and Flo happens to be his math tutor.
A/N: Idk how it works abroad, so putting a lil context just in case, but next to some lectures you have tutorials (Tutorium) where a tutor (sometimes a fellow student in an advanced semester) teaches the course. And @disastrouscarrots told me Flo slayed his math exams during hs so 💅. Flo doesn't have to be a math major to teach the course btw, ig just be in a math-involving major (engineering, cs, ...your headcanons can go wild here).
(ficlet below cut)
Jamal stares back at the weather app, then switches to his messages. Leroy isn't answering. The hallway is mostly empty with some steps echoing from afar. He stands before the seminar door: First one to show up like an overeager, innocent freshman.
Leroy promised to tag along for their first math tutorial, he knows Jamal's a lost case who stopped going to the math lecture after the first week. He quit the 500 pages powerpoints filled with confusing equations, a professor who's supposed to speak German, but talks in mathematical lingo and theoretical messes and decided to have a mental breakdown at home rather than in a lecture hall instead.
So. Leroy knows Jamal needs both academic and mental support after being betrayed by the fact that he has to take a theoretical math class.  For architecture. Like, huh? He didn't sign up for engineering, or administration or whatever. He signed up for architecture: construction, design, creativity…not exactly numbers. The uni counseling didn't brief him on this.
He hears the door fall shut across the hall, glancing up in hope but finds only a handful of students he doesn't recognize. Coming towards him. Straight in his direction. There's a guy leading the group in front. He has a bag slung over his shoulder, wears baggy jeans and an oversized dress shirt. Silver rings flash around his fingers, a denim chain dangles from his waistband. Appears to be a chill dude. Judging by his short, slightly disheveled ash blonde to brown hair and darting eyes, he seems as lost as Jamal feels.
Maybe he can bond over their fashionable sense of style and shared hatred over maths… because man doesn't look motivated but quite in the motions.  Quite I don't want to be here, but I have to be. Because I also have to practice this exasperating nerve-wracking subject called maths. Then the stranger meets his eyes— Jamal's heart stumbles and he quickly averts his gaze back at his phone. At Leroy's incoming, 'Sorry, won't make it.'
He doesn't roll his eyes. No. It's fine. Maybe Jamal can make a friend today instead.
And then the guy passes him by and pulls out keys and unlocks the door, the door to the seminar room, like he's some teacher, like-
he's the teaching assistant, the tutor.
It swooshes in his mind, any remaining thoughts flying away. He feels stupid for reasons he can't really put into words. And then he feels embarrassed, the back of his neck heating up as he realizes this is the guy who will try to teach you and see you're made of straw and empty space. He peeks down the hall, the urge to run away, hide, pay Leroy to take his math exam overbearingly strong. But then he mentally slaps himself, inhales, rolls his shoulders and braces himself for a challenge. Walks through the door to a medium-sized classroom with tables and chairs arranged in an U-form.  He takes a seat by the side, not immediately at the front, not too far at the back. Just right for an incognito plan to talk and interact as little as possible.
But his classmates ruin his plan because they sit in groups at the end of the U, or parallel to him and he curses and wishes Leroy was here after all. Because now he's sitting on his own, sticking out like a sore thumb. And he feels the tutor's eyes on him.
He introduces himself as Florian but he's fine being addressed as Flo as he's "only a semester above you guys, so no need to be formal and all."
He takes his time to talk, mumbling and correcting himself a lot of times, sometimes fiddling with the hem of his shirt, biting his lips. It's…a little endearing. He's scatterbrained but clear when answering questions, even though there are a grand total of like two being asked for the whole lesson.
From an outside perspective, Jamal may seem focused: furrowed brows, nodding along, taking notes.
The notes in question are only doodles though, and his eyes are not following equations, but something else.

Wow, it’s been so long since I’ve made an SFV mod. Of course, it had to be F.A.N.G in his SF6 outfit 💜💜. I probably would have worked on this much earlier if it wasn’t for me still trying to figure out how to swap and extract FANG’s SF6 model with his parameters intact. I’m still trying to figure that out, or if it’s not possible at all. What prompted me to make this mod recently was because of a conversation between Sleepy_Scrub and AegisGN where the latter wanted an SFV FANG mod in his SF6 clothes. I realized I’m not gonna make a proper SF6 FANG swap over AKI anytime soon, so I might as well make the SF6 back port to SFV lol.
This mod is not perfect, but it indeed took a lot of time for me to make. I wrote my process in the download link here:
I even gave him an A.K.I. inspired alt color 💜💜
Sometime after I released my mod, Sleepy_Scrub made this awesome SFV vid that featured all of his SF6 backports that included my FANG mod here:
Tumblr media
There were a few comments asking why AKI wasn’t replacing FANG for the vid above. I’ll tell you this: if FANG didn’t have a pseudo 3D model in SF6, either me or Sleepy would have ported AKI over FANG in SFV. But since FANG exists in SF6, it makes much more sense to port FANG’s SF6 clothes over himself.
And for those curious, I made a vid showcasing my FANG mod along with Sleepy’s here. They’re all FANG scenes, so I apologize that there’s no Juri or Kimberly/Ibuki parts. The vid has both English and Japanese audio, and showcases the mod with Glasses and No Glasses versions:
youtube
By the way, I learned how to mod SFV because of Sleepy_Scrub’s wonderful modding tutorial here. It’s very beginner friendly and it’s what made me got over my dread on using Blender 3D. Because of this tutorial, I end up making multitudes of SFV mods, learned new things on the way, learned to mod other UE4 games, and eventually got into RE Engine modding that had me making SF6 modding tutorials. It’s basically all thanks to Sleepy’s tutorial :
Anyways, thanks for reading! 💜💜

How to Choose the Right Generative AI Course? Key Factors to Consider
In today’s rapidly evolving tech landscape, Generative AI is transforming industries—from art and marketing to finance and healthcare. Tools like ChatGPT, Midjourney, DALL·E, and Runway ML are reshaping how we generate content, design products, and solve problems. As demand for AI skills skyrockets, enrolling in a Generative AI course can be a smart move for professionals and beginners alike.
But with countless programs available—online and offline—it’s essential to know how to choose the right course that matches your goals, learning style, and future career prospects. In this guide, we’ll walk you through the key factors to consider when selecting a Generative AI course so you can make an informed decision.
1. Understand What a Generative AI Course Offers
Before choosing a program, understand what a Generative AI course typically includes. These courses are designed to teach:
Foundations of AI and Machine Learning
Deep Learning models (especially GANs and transformer-based models)
Text, image, audio, and video generation tools
Prompt engineering techniques
Real-world projects using tools like ChatGPT, DALL·E, Midjourney, Runway, etc.
The best courses blend theory with hands-on experience, ensuring you not only learn the concepts but also know how to apply them effectively.
2. Define Your Learning Goals
The right Generative AI course depends largely on your personal or professional goals. Ask yourself:
Are you a beginner looking to explore the field?
Are you a developer or data scientist aiming to upskill?
Are you in marketing, design, or content creation and want to leverage AI tools?
Are you planning to build AI-powered products or startups?
Clearly defining your goal will help you choose a course that focuses on either the technical aspects (e.g., coding, model training) or practical applications (e.g., content generation, automation).
3. Check the Course Curriculum in Detail
Not all Generative AI courses are created equal. A high-quality curriculum should include the following:
Core Modules:
Introduction to Generative AI
Basics of Machine Learning & Deep Learning
Generative Adversarial Networks (GANs)
Transformers and Large Language Models (LLMs)
Ethics and Responsible AI
Tool-Based Training:
ChatGPT and Prompt Engineering
DALL·E and Text-to-Image generation
Midjourney or Stable Diffusion
Runway ML and video generation tools
Hands-On Projects:
AI Art Generation
AI Text Summarization & Copywriting
AI Music or Video Creation
Custom Chatbot or Application Building
Tip: Prefer a course that includes project-based learning, as this improves retention and builds a portfolio you can showcase to potential employers.
4. Assess the Instructor’s Expertise
An excellent instructor can make complex concepts easier to grasp. Look for courses taught by industry practitioners, AI researchers, or certified educators with:
Real-world AI experience
Published work or thought leadership in Generative AI
Teaching credentials or testimonials from past students
Check their LinkedIn profile, GitHub contributions, or YouTube tutorials to verify their authority in the field.
5. Evaluate Course Format: Self-Paced vs Instructor-Led
Depending on your schedule and learning preference, choose between:
Self-Paced Courses:
Learn anytime, at your own speed
Usually more affordable
Ideal for working professionals
Instructor-Led Courses:
Scheduled live classes with Q&A sessions
Often includes peer discussions, mentorship, and evaluations
Better for structured learners or beginners
Some hybrid programs offer recorded content + live doubt-clearing sessions, giving you the best of both worlds.
6. Look for Industry Recognition or Certification
A Generative AI course certification from a reputed institute adds value to your resume and LinkedIn profile. Recognized names like Boston Institute of Analytics, Coursera, edX, or Google-backed programs often carry more weight in hiring processes.
Ensure the certificate:
Is verifiable
Comes from a credible institution
Demonstrates skills employers are currently seeking
7. Read Student Reviews and Alumni Success Stories
Before enrolling, check testimonials, Google reviews, or Reddit discussions about the course. Look for answers to:
Did students find the content useful and up-to-date?
Did it help them apply skills in real-world projects or jobs?
Are alumni now working in AI, marketing, or tech fields?
Alumni case studies or LinkedIn mentions can give you real-world proof of course outcomes.
8. Check for Career Support and Job Placement Assistance
If you're taking a Generative AI course to switch careers or land a new role, see whether the course offers:
Resume building and LinkedIn optimization
Portfolio development (via hands-on projects)
Interview preparation
Placement opportunities or industry connections
Institutes like Boston Institute of Analytics often provide placement guidance and mentorship, which can significantly ease your transition into the AI industry.
9. Consider the Cost and ROI
Prices for Generative AI courses can range from ₹5,000 to ₹1,50,000+ depending on the platform, format, and institute. Ask yourself:
Is the curriculum comprehensive for the price?
Do you get lifetime access to materials?
Are there discounts, EMI options, or scholarships?
Sometimes, paying a bit more for a course with mentorship + certification + career support can deliver far greater value and return on investment (ROI) than a free YouTube playlist.
10. Ensure You Get Hands-on with Generative AI Tools
One of the biggest mistakes learners make is choosing a theoretical course. Generative AI is a practical field—you must work with:
ChatGPT: for chatbots, content generation, customer support
DALL·E & Midjourney: for marketing visuals, branding, and product design
Runway ML: for video editing and synthetic media
Custom APIs & Code: to integrate Generative AI into apps or websites
Look for a course that gives tool access, sandbox environments, or downloadable code notebooks for experimentation.
11. Stay Updated: Is the Course Aligned with 2025 Trends?
Generative AI is evolving fast. Courses designed even two years ago may now be outdated. Make sure your chosen course includes:
Latest LLMs like GPT-4.5, Claude 3, or Gemini
Updated best practices in prompt engineering
Emerging use-cases like Agentic AI, multimodal AI, or enterprise applications
Also, ensure your course provides updates or free future modules to stay current.
12. Bonus: Community Access and Networking
A strong peer and mentor community helps in:
Sharing prompts, tools, and techniques
Collaborating on real-world AI projects
Getting feedback on your work
Finding freelance gigs or job referrals
Courses that offer Slack groups, Discord servers, or alumni communities provide immense long-term value.
Final Thoughts
Choosing the right Generative AI course is more than just clicking “Enroll.” It’s about identifying a program that aligns with your goals, learning style, and career path. Whether you're a content creator, designer, engineer, or entrepreneur, investing in the right course can unlock tremendous opportunities in this fast-growing field.
Look for a course with practical projects, expert guidance, tool mastery, and career support. If you're seeking a future-ready program that covers all these aspects, the Boston Institute of Analytics offers one of the most comprehensive and industry-relevant Generative AI certification courses available today. With expert faculty, hands-on training, and placement support, it could be your ideal launchpad into the world of AI innovation.

5 Essential AI Courses to Take in 2025 — No Matter Your Industry
Your fastest path to mastering AI skills that top companies are hiring for
AI Isn't Optional Anymore — It's the New Literacy
Tumblr media
If there's one capability that will determine achievement in 2025 and beyond, it's artificial intelligence. No longer the exclusive province of Silicon Valley engineers, AI is now part of the everyday arsenal in marketing, education, finance, design, and healthcare.
A recent report from McKinsey estimates AI has the potential to inject more than $13 trillion into the economy by 2030. That's not a niche—it's a revolution. And those who know how to tap it will have a huge career advantage.
The best part? You don't require a computer science degree to get started. Nowadays, top AI education is a click away. The next five courses are some of the most prestigious and useful available, supported by giants like Google, Stanford, and DeepLearning.AI.
Google AI Essentials (Coursera) Best For: Complete beginners looking for a reliable, hands-on primer Google AI Essentials aims to equip you with a solid understanding of how AI works and how to apply it in your role, even if tech is not your background. It touches on practical uses of AI and even includes exercises to create your first AI-powered tools with Google's suite.
With a Google and Coursera certificate, this course is unique on a résumé and enables professionals to begin applying AI quickly in content writing, admin tasks, or data analysis.
AI For Everyone by Andrew Ng (Coursera) Best For: Entrepreneurs, managers, and non-technical teams Teased out by Coursera co-founder and former Google Brain boss Andrew Ng, a legendary in the field, the course is not about code but strategy for AI—how to think about the role of AI in business and society.
It’s perfect for decision-makers who want to speak the language of AI without writing a single line of code. You’ll learn how to identify which problems AI can solve, and how to build teams around those solutions.
Machine Learning Specialization (Stanford + DeepLearning.AI) Best For: Learners who want depth, and a Stanford-backed certificate If you're willing to dive deeper, this three-course specialisation—again taught by Andrew Ng—teaches the principles of supervised learning, unsupervised learning, and ML engineering best practices.
This is one of the best-known ML programmes in the world and provides you with a solid grounding to transition into AI work or create your own projects. It's an essential if you're keen on the technical aspects.
Prompt Engineering for ChatGPT (DeepLearning.AI + OpenAI) Best For: Creators, marketers, copywriters, and researchers Prompt engineering is rapidly turning into the most sought-after AI skill. In this course, you learn how to effectively interact with large language models such as ChatGPT so you can obtain the most accurate and creative output.
You will discover how to frame prompts for various purposes—summarizing, content writing, programming assistance, and more. Whether you are writing articles, emails, code, or strategies, prompt mastery is a productivity shortcut to 10x.
AI Product Management (Duke University on Coursera) Ideal For: Future product managers and startup entrepreneurs AI isn't merely about creating tools—it's about creating the right tools. This Duke University course is designed to get you to market with AI-powered products.
You'll learn to design, test, and release AI systems with consideration for user requirements, data ethics, and risk. With case studies and frameworks from leading product leaders, it's ideal for professionals who want to drive AI innovation in their firm or startup.

Choose one course today, block 30 minutes on your calendar, and start your journey. You’ll thank yourself in six months.

Why Are You Not Rich (Yet) in the AI Era?
A Wake-Up Call for Anyone Watching the Revolution Instead of Riding It
Let’s be brutally honest: There has never been a time in history where more tools, shortcuts, and leverage were available to regular people — yet most are still broke, stuck, or passive.
Tumblr media
AI is here. It’s free. It’s powerful. It’s everywhere.
So… why are you not rich yet?
This article isn’t about guilt or hustle culture — it’s about clarity. Because if you understand why you’re not winning yet, you can actually change it.
You’re Consuming AI — Not Creating With It Scrolling through AI tweets, watching YouTube tutorials, liking prompt threads… that’s not leverage. That’s digital grazing.
Meanwhile, others are:
Publishing books using ChatGPT
Selling AI prompt packs on Gumroad
Building faceless YouTube channels with AI tools
Automating client work with scripts and workflows The difference?
They build. You browse. You don’t need to know everything. You just need to start producing something with what you already know.
You’re Waiting for Permission or Perfection You’re thinking:
“I’m not technical enough.”
“It’s probably too late.”
“I’ll start once I finish one more course.” Reality check: No one’s handing out AI licenses. No one’s grading your prompts. The only credential that matters now is execution.
The people winning aren’t the smartest — they’re just the first to ship.
You Think Small (And Trade Time for Money) Most people still treat AI like a productivity app instead of a money-making engine. But here’s what AI actually enables:
\$10 products built in 1 day
Faceless content channels that grow 24/7
Niche businesses with zero employees
Automated sales, marketing, and customer support You're stuck at, “How can I do my job 10% faster?” Instead of asking, “How can I build a system that prints value without me?”
You Haven’t Picked a Problem Worth Solving AI won’t make you rich on its own — but AI + a valuable problem will. Want examples?
Solopreneurs struggling to write content
Agencies wasting hours on admin
Coaches who need systems to scale
Students drowning in unstructured notes
Creators who need scripts, ideas, editing help Each one is a real niche. Each one is an opportunity. You just need to solve for one person — and scale from there.
You’re Not Learning Through Action Courses are great. Threads are helpful. But you learn fastest by doing:
Create a product and launch it (even if it flops)
Try selling an AI service (even if no one buys)
Build a tiny YouTube channel or newsletter (even with 10 readers)
Every failure is data. Every launch is a lesson. Every win is compounding. Learning through action will always outpace learning through theory.
You Don’t Have a Leverage Mindset (Yet) In the AI era, your time is no longer the currency. Leverage is. 3 kinds of leverage:
Code & AI: Build once, run forever
Media: One post can reach millions
Products: Sell the same thing 1,000 times If you’re still exchanging hours for dollars with no leverage plan, you're building a treadmill — not wealth.
You’re Playing Defense Instead of Offense Fear of being replaced by AI is valid. But here’s the twist: the best defense is to go on offense. Offense means:
Learning to use AI to increase your value
Creating assets that grow even when you sleep
Positioning yourself as an AI-native professional
Those who adapt will lead. Those who hesitate will watch from the sidelines.
Final Thought: The Game Has Changed — Have You? You’re not behind. You’re not too late. You’re just one decision away from flipping the switch.
Stop watching. Start building.
Stop hoarding info. Start creating value.
Stop fearing AI. Start partnering with it.
Because the real question isn’t “Why aren’t you rich?” It’s “Why are you still thinking like it’s 2015?” AI is your cheat code — if you choose to use it.

The Most Profitable One-Person Business Models in 2025
In 2025, the solopreneur economy is not only thriving—it’s redefining what it means to run a successful business. Thanks to automation, AI, and global digital platforms, one-person businesses can now generate six- and even seven-figure revenues without employees, office space, or traditional overhead.
Tumblr media
If you're looking to build a profitable solo venture, these are the most lucrative one-person business models in 2025—optimized for low startup costs, scalability, and high margins.
🚀 1. AI-Enhanced Digital Product Creator
Overview: Creating and selling digital products—like templates, e-books, Notion dashboards, coding tools, or design assets—has been a hot solo business for years. In 2025, AI tools like ChatGPT, Midjourney, and generative design software have supercharged productivity, allowing individuals to produce high-quality content at scale.
Why it’s profitable:
Low-to-zero cost of goods Automated delivery and customer support Global market via platforms like Gumroad, Ko-fi, Etsy, and Shopify
Earning Potential: \$5,000–\$100,000/month
Top Tip: Niche down. A Notion template for productivity is okay—one for female startup founders managing remote teams is better.
🎓 2. Cohort-Based & AI-Personalized Course Creator
Overview: Online education is evolving. One-person course creators now use AI to personalize content and scale support, while still offering cohort-based or asynchronous learning through platforms like Maven, Teachable, and Kajabi.
Why it’s profitable:

Why it’s profitable:
Low maintenance Recurring ad revenue Scales well with automation and repurposed content
Earning Potential: \$1,000–\$50,000/month
Success Example: A finance-focused newsletter with 50,000 subscribers could generate \$20k/month from affiliate commissions and sponsorships.
🛠️ 4. No-Code SaaS (Software as a Service)
Overview: No-code tools like Bubble, Glide, and Softr let non-engineers build full-fledged SaaS products. AI can now assist with building logic, UX design, and even customer support.
Why it’s profitable:
Subscription-based revenue Low maintenance if solving a niche pain point Sellable asset (high valuation multiples)
Earning Potential: \$2,000–\$100,000+/month
Best Niches: Local business tools, B2B automation, CRM, data visualization dashboards
📚 5. Self-Published AI-Assisted Author
Overview: AI tools have reduced the time it takes to research, outline, and write books. Solo authors are publishing fiction, non-fiction, and guides on Amazon KDP, Apple Books, and Gumroad with unprecedented speed and quality.
Why it’s profitable:
Evergreen content Royalty-based passive income Global distribution
Earning Potential: \$500–\$25,000/month
Pro Tip: Focus on series (fiction) or evergreen guides (non-fiction) with recurring interest like health, finance, or personal development.
🎥 6. Faceless YouTube or TikTok Creator
Overview: You no longer need to be on camera to make money on social media. AI voiceovers, stock footage, and editing tools have created a boom in “faceless” content creation. Monetization comes from ads, affiliate links, and digital products.

Build an Interface: Create a simple web app or CLI for interaction.
Train/Fine-tune (Optional): Use your dataset to fine-tune the model for better results.
Example: Generating Text with OpenAI GPT
import openai openai.api_key = "YOUR_API_KEY" response = openai.Completion.create( engine="text-davinci-003", prompt="Write a poem about technology and nature", max_tokens=100 ) print(response.choices[0].text.strip())
Real-World Applications
Content Creation: Blogs, product descriptions, scripts
Design: Art, logos, UI mockups
Programming: Code suggestions, bug fixing, documentation
Education: Personalized tutoring and content generation

Blog Post 11: Lighting Phase 3: Finalization
This blog details the final phase of this week’s project, where the challenge was not only to create a detailed 3D environment but to use lighting to establish a specific tone and atmosphere. Building on the techniques learned in previous projects, this assignment pushed my understanding of lighting, an essential skill in video game environmental design.
Tumblr media
As I wrap up the project, I'm experiencing mixed feelings. On one hand, I'm thrilled to have taken my first steps into 3D lighting art and design—a journey that will undoubtedly enhance my work over time. On the other, I’m disappointed, as I realized too late that I had misinterpreted the project’s primary objective. Rather than focusing on the art of lighting itself, I invested much of my time into building the 3D environment, somewhat sidelining the opportunity to practice and deepen my lighting skills.
My initial goal for the project was clear: to create a 3D scene inspired by Black Mesa, the Half-Life remake, and light it to evoke a dark, suspenseful atmosphere. However, my approach shifted as I immersed myself in asset creation, spending most of my time modeling in Blender and texturing in Substance Painter. Unfortunately, I encountered an unexpected technical issue late in the process, preventing several assets from importing correctly into Unreal Engine, where I had planned to light and complete the scene. The setback was frustrating, as it felt like all the hard work and time spent creating assets could have been better used to focus on lighting. This distraction was a valuable turning point; reevaluating the core objectives of the assignment reminded me that the main goal here was to practice and understand 3D lighting. Reflecting on my ultimate goal for the course—becoming the best video game environment artist—I realized I’d lost sight of the priority: honing my skills, not just showcasing them. This experience was an eye-opener, prompting me to reorganize my approach and refocus on growth.
Tumblr media
With a clearer perspective, I returned to the project with renewed enthusiasm to explore lighting as the primary focus. With limited time left, I built a scene designed to tell the story of Half-Life protagonist Gordon Freeman trying to escape a room filled with Headcrabs, racing toward the next room for a desperately needed health refill. I laid out placeholder lighting and quickly structured the scene to align with this narrative.
youtube
For atmospheric lighting, I drew on William Faucher’s guide on indoor lighting (Faucher, 2023), which emphasizes using indirect light to highlight environment details and contrasting colors for depth and mood. Rather than following his tutorial exactly, I used it as a reference, creating my own lighting setup that I can revisit in the future to track my personal growth. Lighting, as I see it, remains the most impactful component of 3D environment design, shaping a scene’s emotional tone.
Tumblr media
In the end, this project became a pivotal moment in my journey. Not only did it deepen my understanding of lighting, but it also taught me the importance of regularly assessing my progress and ensuring that I’m prioritizing skill development over display. This shift in mindset is something I’ll carry forward as I continue to work toward my goal of becoming the best 3D environment artist I can be.
