HAPPY VARENTINES DAY, ANGEL ! I've been facing some tech issues recently, but!! To celebrate Ren's birthday and Valentine's Day, I'll be releasing Day 5 (the Early Access version) for all the Beta Testers in a few days!
And for those who aren't part of the 14DWY Discord server, don't worry! The public version will be available for everyone to play once the beta testing period is over ^^

I know we joke Lawrence Stroll is basically a bond villain, but my god, I have to take off my hat to him. Man joined this sport purely to support his son's career and dreams, and has seemingly just managed (not officially confirmed as yet) to nab the key to achieving those dreams in certified freaking car genius Adrian Newey, the man behind car designs that won 6 constructors' championships, 7 drivers championships, and earned 120 podiums to date for red bull alone. He's won 12 constructors' championships in total with 3 different Formula One teams (red bull, williams & mclaren). And now, he's apparently chasing Max too. I have to admire this man's sheer commitment, I now need him to win (sign newey & Max when the time comes) so badly now to see him rub the entire paddocks nose in it lmao.

how about an estuary habitat? the ones that fill with beautiful iron rich clay silt. we need estuarian kelpies
#anyways so estuaries right? absolutely batshit insane ecological niche#if you can tolerate quick fluctuations in salt its perfect to pup or egg cause its absolutely full of prey#just in the way that its full of little guys fleeing easier habitats because estuarian locations are harder to live in#so its harder to be preyed upon. so you get this real nice niche of small critter fleeing to hard to survive area#and as such they provide the much needed prey species for things like shark pups. so sharks (who can tolerate salt fluctuations)#flock to estuaries to pup. which in turn prey on the things fleeing things that cant survive in estuaries#real cool stuff! i haven't watched a couple days worth of marine bio lectures for nothing#askbox#estuaries are kind of a sweet spot between land and sea anyways#theres so much more to estuaries though it is too long to mention the tidal cycles they rely on and how it makes them nutrient rich#ough i wish i was better with words id blow your socks off with marine bio facts#marine bio facts are super effective at charming people btw

no you guys. the way TDP treats dark magic is so unrealistic and unfair because like. when has a society ever had a purposefully constructed inequality of scarcity manifested by a powerful elite group made to reinforce arbitrary hierarchies that uniquely harm everyone involved except for them? and others with more power never ever prey on the exploitation of those people through resource sharing under the guise of social improvement or "secret" knowledge that, if they give it to you, can totally fix all your problems. what do you think the real world has, cults or capitalism or something?

No one ever mentions how on the QnA PE has a 30% cargo loss which?? That could mean only the order is broken but. It’s space the crew is also definitely dead so the Tulpar is just one lost ship in the many cases that PE just throws their hands up on. well you just can’t beat those prices!
This is exactly why it’s so frustrating when people ignore the way P.E’s negligence and lack of care/concern for their employees influences their decisions/behavior.
Like they don’t really care if 30% of their workers regularly go missing or get lost. You think they care if they had locks or adequate training? You think they left supplies on that ship to add them in case of emergency or conflicts? They don’t have adequate medical supplies and even on a regular trip the crew has rations, no abundance and implied very little extra and they STILL added an extra person. If we look at that early HR complaint info graphic they make it extremely difficult to file or make complaints, not to mention actively discouraging it with how many penalties are directly attached to having personal/co-worker conflicts.
They really only want employees there to work and little else. No real enrichment, no real privacy and no back up in case anyone gets hurts, hurts someone else or they get in trouble. I mean Curly really made a point in realizing that no one checks on the fucking nurse for evals! Was it too late? Yeah. But that is something the pony express needed to handle and require, not a Captain with no training or experience in their own medical course as Curly’s crew isn’t the only one who has likely faced these problems.
P.E. Is so oppressive and actively malicious to their employees I can’t fathom how they lasted so long without the literal Geneva convention coming for their ass with how many human rights violations they have.
#literally mouthwashing would not have happened like the plot without the negligence and incompetence of PE#and how capitalism rarely cares about the health and happiness of the workers especially those more vulnerable#people forget that and try to make it solely a game about personal failings when those failings are also directly tied to the environment#and the lack of resources provided because omg they did not just have locks to put on the ship! Anya cannot just sleep in the open and#necessarily public medial room cause like when she’s not asleep all her shit would be accessible to the rest of the male crew like think#every idea has a draw back cause PE doesn’t care! they don’t care about keeping them safe that’s the point#you can care but one person can’t stop or fix deep seated systemic issues in one. quick go#mouthwashing#mouthwashing game#ask#anon#the pony express
