Encountering a Zircon was not an every day thing. In fact, it was something the twins had almost hoped would never happen on a normal day. Neither twin dared to say a word at first as they watched Yellow Zircon. They didn’t have a clue how she’d react to them, after all.

“Maybe if we stay hidden,” the rightmost rutile whispered, “she won’t freak out?”

“I don’t know,” the leftmost twin whispered back. They were certainly good at hiding after all the time they’d spent living in those abandoned kindergartens. They still were there. However, with a new Gem there, it was hard to say whether they could still be good at that or not. They eventually decided to just give it a shot. What could go wrong.

“Hello,” the rightmost twin greeted, caution making her voice shake slightly. “What are you doing here, zircon?”

The rain was pelting down upon the roof of the old bookshop. It was rather late in the night and the true owner of the shop had long since retired to bed. Seated at the back of the shop was the Spinel, Liesel, trying to read a book on Earth fauna. Even after a year of being here, she barely understood the concepts that separated Homeworld from Earth.

      None of the guardians needed much to live, just don’t get ripped apart or have your life gem broken or whatever. But this sole information for some reason really shocked Ivan. How can anyone not have some tea??

Continued from (x) Corrupt leaned back a bit into his portal as the other shrieked and began to panic. Now seeing the other facing him it was clear this wasn’t exactly a human, they were humanoid sure but not just a human with weird fashion sense.

After the other gave their bluff he decided to reveal himself fully, he gave a smirk at the stranger as he put his hands behind his back. Corrupt wanted to seem non-threatening to the being. “I don’t really want to be destroyed in one hit so I’ll abide for now. Though I’m curious how you would if it would come to that.” Corrupt said giving a small chuckle.

“Who am I? Well, it’s pretty simple actually, my name is Corrupt.” He seemed to introduce himself with such a name without any qualms “What is your name? Also, you still haven’t answered my question.”

Black Moonstone crept along and beneath the outcroppings and ledges of Homeworld, keeping to the shadows as she moved along. She was on the prowl for new test subjects, the itch to experiment clawing at the back of her mind.

She’d been debating between going for the Citrine guard nearby that was currently alone, or following an Aquamarine she’d spotted zipping by when she caught sight of a familiar Gem hurrying by her hiding spot.

Her eyes widened as she watched Yellow Zircon a moment, previous prey forgotten as she focused on the prosecutor. What a wonderful opportunity this was!

On near-silent feet, Black Moonstone swiftly closed the distance between them, still doing her best to remain unseen. “Yellow Zircon?” She called from the shadows, voice pitched higher than usual and deceptively soft, hoping to get the other Gem to stop, if not come closer to investigate....

“I may not be the eldest but I’m the most successful by far. Of course, my brother was the one who got in trouble to begin with and lost his position.       “Ah--you’ve mistaken me with someone else..!” Welp, he had a sneaking suspicion that they probably knew a certain someone with how they approached Ivan. He can only hope that this will be..relatively easy to understand. Who knows, maybe they’ll understand it right away! One can hope anyway, but he’s going to give it a shot.

     “I am Mr. Inverted. That is what I go by. It’s a pleasure to meet you, I’m sure! And who might you be?”

“I’d say so; I’m stronger like this, for certain - moreso than either of my... components.” She laughs lightly, smirking. “Honestly, I think you’re just jealous~”
