If the outcome is always the same, would it be reasonable to assume that the path taken is always the same? In an experiment, the idea is to replicant the outcome using the same means.

No, because due to natural law the universe will end. It does not mean we are following a predetermined path. I could decide to respond to this message in any way I see fit, and through the words that I type I could influence your life in a significant enough way for it to have some effect on you, me, and anyone who reads this. Theoretically, there is a response I could type out that would alter the course of human history and thus, the history of the universe. However, that response is not predetermined. The course of events that leads to the inevitable ending of our existence, our universe, and (up for debate) time itself is not predetermined and could be altered in an infinite number of ways, all pointing to the same conclusion.

Quasar: If you could spend the rest of your life with only one person, who would it be?

Hi! That’s a very interesting question. I wouldn’t know an answer to it that easily, I must say. I guess people who are in a romantic relationship would simply name their partner as an answer to this question, but I’m not in a romantic relationship. Frankly, I’ve never in my twenty years been in a romantic relationship, and I don’t see myself in one anytime soon.

A second possible answer would be a best friend. However, I believe that if I’d spend too much time too close with a single person, I would probably collide with them at some point. I’d rather just keep the happy memories of them and never see them again than see that happening.

In fact, I actually loathe the very idea of spending the rest of my life with only one person. The idea alone terrifies me. I guess I’d rather be alone for the rest of my life than pick a single other person to spend the rest of my life with. So, I guess my answer to the question will be: ‘Myself’.
