Eureka: Investigative Urban Fantasy is a neo-noir investigation-focused RPG with (as you can probably guess from the title) a supernatural twist. Eureka fills several voids we have noticed in the TTRPG space. Eureka supports investigation to a degree we haven’t seen before, ensuring that searching for clues is a granular and player-driven process, but also ensuring that the whole story doesn’t grind to a halt after one single failed investigation check.

Though most PCs will be mundane humans—or perhaps because most PCs will be mundane humans—Eureka also supports playing monstrous PCs, such as a vampire, in a way we have never seen before. This isn’t just a watered-down stat bonus, it’s like playing an almost entirely different game, with all the monster’s strengths and weaknesses to account for while solving the mystery, plus the added incentive to keep it a secret from the other PCs as well as their players.

If you like or are interested in Call of Cthulhu, Monster of the Week, Dresden Files, X-Files, Kolchak: The Night Stalker, Apocalypse Keys, or Gumshoe, you’ll probably find something in Eureka to really enjoy.

"Huh? What's embarrassing about me being honest? Is it so out of place to compliment people and their things? Or are you just hoping for me to give you one?" He'd respond, both a little confused by their reactions but unable to hide that tinge of playfulness as he smirked at Ember. "You'd only need to ask y'know?"

Attention would soon after return to the pink fox as he used his good hand to reach over and gently take her own for a shake. "Nice to meet you too Tira, I travel a lot so I'm sure it'll happen on occasion."

"Heh, actually its more guaranteed to happen, I have a weakness for sweet stuff and that fresh baking smell."

The owner's ear perked up, the faint sight of blush appearing across her cheeks, "O-oh, uh, thank you!"

Ember chuckled, "Damn Dan. No need to embarrass her." She casually leaned against the glass case, and casually gestured between the two, "Dan, this is Tira. Tira, meet Dan."

Recomposing herself, Tira reached a hand out to shake, "Pleasure to meet you. And feel free to come by any time. I practically live here."

"Oh, you mean Sonic's group?" he asks seemingly tanking a bot's flamethrower. "Hold that thought for a second." he said turning his head to her as he plugged the hole of the flamethrower, which caused the bot to be blown back from the pressure.

"Well, my sis did want me to go out and meet new people..." he thought about it rubbing his chin, before kicking the previously blown up robot's head over towards his new friend.

"If there's any other peeps as cool as you then I'm in!"

"Awesome moves!" he says landing right next to her, back to back punching more bots as they approached. "And you're pretty strong too. It's not every day you meet someone with similar abilities who can keep up with you!"

{➹} – ARROW FOCUSED HIS EFFORTS on taking in the sights downtown instead. To him, it was usually those parts of a city that really showed what a place was all about; truly the heart of most areas. Not that there weren't hidden gems to every place.

"You can never go wrong with pizza, 's far too many combinations out there for it t' be hated by anyone," he said, only half serious, as he grinned. "I do get not wanting t' hop around too much though. Had a few bad experiences myself, though 's nowhere near as bad these days as it was when I first started finding myself in other dimensions."

She gave a dismissive wave with one hand while her other hand was placed on her hip, signaling she was paying for the meal, and that was final.

As the two went further into the downtown area, Ember tilted her head to the side, hand placed on her chin, "Hmm...I'm not a picky eater...Pizza is my favorite though...Buuuuuut not sure if I'm really going to be doing any dimension hopping anytime soon. Last time I did was kinda messy..." Not to mention it had been her first time, and she barely found her way back home.

She gave a small smile back, wariness still apparent in her eyes, "Thank you. This is my first time dimension hopping. Been jumping around for a while." She could almost feel the tension leaving her body; all the time spent traveling had started to wear her down. She couldn't relax quite yet though, not while the gem she held was still unstable. It could teleport her away at a moment's notice, then who knows where she'd end up.
