hi friends! i know it’s very sudden but i’m here to announce that i’ll be on a hiatus for a while!!! :D i’ll be back in writing around early/mid-july when my semester ends.

these weeks have been so exhausting for me. i’m halfway through the semester and i’m on a serious burnout. i still have 7-8 weeks before it ends and i already feel so exhausted with the thought of that.

about writing, i really wanna continue my wips and all, but i’m not sure if i could do all of them soon. unfortunately, i have a lot of things coming in my way :’D free me from college jk so wips will be delayed (and yes, returning to balete is also delayed i’m really sorry i know the teaser’s out for a while now aah)

i hope that’s alright with you guys :’D i seriously hate doing announcements like these but i’m mentally tired over the load i’m having rn in college aah :((

i’ll still be here from time to time anyway, plus i’m active in discord! feel free to contact me still bc technically, i’ll just stop writing for now. i’m not stopping my daily scrolling in this app and my daily talks with friends in tumblr heh

happy 100??? i literally got 50 of you guys less than 2 months ago... how tf

uhh anyways... i just wanna share that i have 3 wips (2 of them are from taste of love series) and i am having some writer's block rn 🧍 so the fics might take longer than expected :'D

im very thankful for all of you ngl aaah ik i just started like ?? around sept last year and i never thought i'd have 100 of you here with me just a few months after :((( emo hours

i still lack in lots of stuff when it comes to writing (which is why i'm writing yk to improve and all lol) and as much as i want to think that my fics suck sometimes (rip), the response i get from my fics though really make me very inspired to write more and be better than before so thanks a lot to all of you <33 i appreciate you guys sm

about the last few posts i rb-ed in the last few days, let me share some stuff based on my own experience! :D this is about the lack of rbs/feedback problem.

i seriously appreciate comments that i received in my fics like pauwi sa iyo, a rose beside the tall bushes, and returning to balete teaser. those are some of my works that got a good amount of rbs and feedback.

what saddens me is the lack of rbs or feedback in most of my fics. as you can notice, i get around more ~10-20 rbs. the thing here is that majority of them are from me srb-ing or responding to feedback, or from networks bc i've been in more than 10 networks ever since i started writing. so if you deduct a good amount, i barely get any rbs/feedback from ACTUAL READERS.

yes, some of them are less than ten. they were my earlier works. i wasn't in networks yet in that time so there wasn't that much exposure but like i said, a good number of it came from me rb-ing it.

i freaking feel so sad when i check my past works and the ratio between rbs and likes is literally 1:4 or even worse than that. a part of myself admits that i'm not the best in writing but i also want some comments about it or even exposure to get that.

i am very thankful that networks exist. i get some rbs and likes here and there. BUT i just get likes most of the time, seriously.

there have been times that i worry if there'd even be people reading my work. heck, the lack of feedback contributes to the confusion on what should i write, considering that i also want to create something that a good number of readers would like.

if people don't rb a post, nobody would get to see what we made. and what could be the result of that? us losing motivation and inspiration to write. we just want to hear something from the audience but we barely get anything.

there were multiple times of me wanting to not write anymore bc i know barely anybody would read it. but i'm still continuing it since i originally started to write for my own sake, to improve in english as my second language and to show some creativity at least. at this point, i'm just writing for my own. i also wanted to share these to everybody, okay? but it's probably not happening. i just started writing last sept. 2021. pretty recent tbh and atp i got to post a lot of fics already despite that short time. unfortunately, the problem is still the same despite using tags, being in networks now, and having a larger amount of followers (i had 50 around late december, and i have more than 150 followers now apparently).

there are lots of ways to fix this problem. you've seen it in other posts about this. making a side blog, giving us ANYTHING to comment (even if it's one word or emoji, we'd appreciate it), queueing/scheduling posts, and more!!! those are simple things to do, to be honest. pretty easy.

lately, i've been getting more feedbacks and comments not only through rb-ing, but sending me asks. i deeply appreciate that fr, thank you. but i still get the similar rb-like ratio in my recent works even if i received a slightly larger amount of feedback now, it sucks.

for me here, i'd appreciate if you rb and/or give comments. i'm serious. waking up to several tags to my fic makes my day and i get more inspiration to write. if you guys kept on doing that, maybe the writing community would be SO alive rn and your fave writers probably are still here.

i don't know what else to say bc writers have been saying the same things. don't complain if any of us leaves. i might sound a little mean here but you're a contributor to that. watch me announce a hiatus soon, who knows? idk, i've been thinking about that actually but i still want to continue my wips and post them already.

that's all for me, i guess. this was pretty messy, but i hope you get it somehow. i'm not even expecting people to read this.

it's been a long time since i even posted a fic (for the record, it's the LONGEST i ever had my god it's been more than a month !!! how) so HEH i'm working on a felix fic rn and i might post it this week or next week? depending on my load for uni in the next few days... i want to spend some time finishing this fic apparently bc i started it pretty good now

kinda late but AAAAA long text ahead!

happy one year of me writing here in tumblr!!!

the past year has been a rollercoaster. and i believe i'll be going through it again for my second year LOL

unexpected visits is my first work here. i still can't believe it's been more than a year since i tried to find perfect powers and abilities of the kids and form some cool characters (not to mention a plot that i temporarily stopped planning for....haha?)

and it has been a year since i tried expressing my ideas through writing. i still consider myself a newbie as a writer but i'll always do this for my personal enjoyment and also the enjoyment of readers :DD (plz reblog fics lol)

for the past year, i think there has been slight improvements in writing... at least in my end, like how quick i write totally changed. i remember writing unexpected visits for ~2 weeks out of struggle to express my ideas into words. and now one of the wips that i have reached 11k words within A WEEK. the way how i write words seems to be more comfortable now!

writing led me to trying out another hobby, reading. yes, i do read fanfics here but i'm pertaining to novels and other books! recently, i've been reading a good number of books and i can't wait to read more! just trying not to be THAT broke lol and i do consider reading those as another way to find out how to write better <33

i admit that some of my earlier works are not the best (and i also admit that i refuse to read them again 😭 i think this is because my way of writing did change) but i'll always do my best in improving! i hope my last fic (painting faith) and my next fics are something new and fresh for you guys :DD i seriously think they are so different and better than my earlier works!

here's to another year of writing YAY! happy one year <33 i'm so glad that i got to interact with amazing writers and readers here! i appreciate every work you guys have done whether that's releasing a fic or sharing feedback!

synopsis: let’s get this straight to the point, the jeon brothers from the spade academy have to reunite after more than a decade to solve and discuss about their beloved father’s disappearance. things were… messy, which was unexpected from the pride of the city of haven.

note: hi, this is officially my first work here! this is inspired by the umbrella academy because i love the series SO MUCH and thought of skz in this type of setting! since this is inspired by tua, there’d be some similarities from the show to this fic (like the handler’s existence, the kids have powers, etc.) so i hope that’d be cool… been thinking of making this an au series of some sort after a while. pls do send me some feedback too <33 not really good at writing but im willing to improve ofc! if any of you guys liked this, feel free to tell me if you want more from this concept! would love to write more on this and form some cool plots here and there. this au is kind of quick-paced, btw! so this was kind of shorter than i was expecting lmao
