a little preview of my first-semester senior thesis, Lady Cottontail: Knight of the Warren! It's a middle-grade graphic novel following a rabbit knight and her journey through multiple animal kingdoms to find her warren's kidnapped princess. this is just a taste of the full thing, which right now comes in at 46 pages for just act 1! I plan to continue it next semester of course but working on it for the last few months has really given me a new love for these characters. and a new hatred for drawing trees. i drew so many trees. anyway :) i hope you like it lol

my very specific prediction for the upcoming AITA video: he'll open by explaining that last week on the gaming channel he had an 'AITA' moment himself [insert clips from the dan eye incident here]

I just did a deep dive into giant rabbits, and like...oh my god they are so adorable. They can get larger than house cats and are just living stuffed animals.

They are also used a lot in therapy.

Do you know who needs therapy?

Give Damian a god damn Finnish Giant, let that little guy have a bunny the size of him. Like fresh from the league Damian, 4 full feet of rage and angst just fucking melts into a bun that flops right at his feet.

Damian, concerned why Sir flopsalot just turned into a bunny puddle: Baba...baba what is wrong with him? Is he hurt?

Bruce, who had his own therapy bunny after his parents death, cooing softly: Rabbits flop like that as a sign they feel safe. He knows that you would protect him if a predator came to hurt him, he trusts you Habibi.

Damian, totally not crying, who's lips are definitely not quivering, kneeling down by the rabbit and gently petting it: I...I love you so much...

Sir flopsalot cuddles with Damian, laying on him to be like a living weighted blanket, nuzzling into him at night to wake him from nightmares.

My father does his best to help. he really does. he just refuses to listen when I tell him he is not helping and is actively making things worse.

During the bunny capturing I quickly realized that it was extremely tame and would just come up to you if you were patient and calm. He was not patient and calm. he wanted to chase it out from under the cars with a broom. and proceeded to attempt to do so for several minutes while I was trying to corrall it so it didn't run into the road. every time I got close to grabbing it he'd make a sudden movement or stomp or do this or that to "help" and spook it back under the car. it turned a 2 minute affair into almost an hour of being on my feet and running after this fucking rabbit.

I finally snapped at him to go inside and promptly sat my ass down with a carrot and had the rabbit in hand moments later.

it has been almost 48 hours since that point and I'm still not able to stand unassisted and my legs are fucking killing me with how bad they hurt. I spent most of yesterday unconscious on pain killers instead of enjoying the holiday because he couldn't listen to me when I asked him to just let me handle it.
