There is so much gutwrenching about Petscop but one of the most gutwrenching things I have sort of uncovered in my most recent rewatch is the fact that Paul's last true interaction with Rainer before Rainer died was the night Paul was taken. And I came to this conclusion by the fact that Tool refers to Paul as "Newmaker" and early in the gameplay, Rainer is referred to as "Rainer, Newmaker". In some parts of gameplay, Paul played Rainer. But where, exactly?

Petscop 11.

Rainer was left with Care one night, maybe Anna had left for some sort of important legal thing, maybe she just needed a break. In any case, she asked Rainer to watch Care, to stay with her. She stuck a paper on the wall. "My husband may come here after 6:00 pm. Please stay overnight if you can. Thank you so so so much."

She knew Marvin had an idea, she knew what he was capable of. She trusted Rainer. Rainer was the oldest cousin, he could watch Care. Her beautiful Carrie. Make sure she was safe. Marvin wouldn't get to her. He had been risking it too much. That's why visitations only happened on weekends now, after all.

And dammit was Rainer going to take care of her. He loved Care, that was his little cousin for goodness' sake! He never liked Marvin anyway. Not after they found out how he used that Tool on Belle. Not after the digging digging digging, the hole filled with Marvin's sins that Rainer had found himself in. No. Rainer would protect Carrie.

It wasn't Rainer's fault the closet locked from the outside. He tried to get out, he really did. He heard Carrie scream, the crash of the air conditioner, the struggle. And Rainer fought with that doorknob, slammed himself against the door, used every ounce of strength in his adrenaline spiked body and the door did not budge.

And when he finally got it open, he was too late. She was gone. Window shattered, stuttering air conditioner smelling like smoke and electricity on the carpeted floor. Droplets of blood staining it. It was just Rainer and the air conditioner and the whistle of wind outside the window.

Anna blamed Rainer. He hadn't done enough and now? Now her baby was gone. Missing. Never coming back. Rainer was supposed to protect her and he failed. Failure.

So when her baby returned, Rainer wasn't allowed to see her anymore. They wouldn't even give him a picture of her. They were all scattered in graves. Maybe he spotted her once, one more time, at a Christmas party as he set down a carefully wrapped PS1 game disk under the tree, a note with vulgar words plastered on the wrapping paper, before slipping into the bathroom one final time.

But she doesn't remember. So when he is in his 20s, all he can say is: "I saw him at a birthday party once. All the older kids were down in the basement playing video games to hide from everyone. He was down there, too. He was older than the rest of them, though."

ok so i am in a writey yapping mood but i cannot fathom writing anything coherent atm so ur getting a full yap on my opinions of all the tma powers (pls share ur opinions) The Buried: I was the kind of child who dug holes in the beach, but more than that nothing much, not really the claustrophobic kind and i whore a binder for ten years so i am not impressed with struggling to breathe. The Corrupion: the one that actually scares me, grew up with an hoarder, gross shit was my childhood and if i werent so adhd id be such a cleaning freak. id prolly had been stationed in a rot domain... The Dark: boring. oh no dark scary. childrens domains- the blanket never did anything haunts my dreams, i use tma to fall asleep but that does not include dark episodes. Rainer is a bitch. The Desolation: Honestly, I cant lie. if i had not gotten therapy i would have burned everything. Its so attractive. The End: Like it i guess, love the relentless patience and the awareness of itself that many other powers lack- The Extinction: Honestly kinda sad it never was a full power. liked the vibe, was comforting in the way kids my generation have been warned and scared about climate shit all our life. so seeing it as something taken seriosly and dangerous was very comforting to my inner 13 yo who was going to parades and strikes in secret from my parents cos i felt i was never doing enough The Eye: I am very eye aligned- bitch ass power it is i have been on stage and social media since i was a kid, i need to be seen and more than that i need to see others, might be an autism thing, but i am scarily observant The Flesh: Second least favourite. The Slaughter: Like the musical aspect of it, but i dont think much of it, honestly the way modern war is fought it barely reflects in the slaughter. Obsessed with how the first injury Melanie got when fkn around with it she got stabbed by a scalpel and then she proceeded to stab jon with a scalpel. The Spiral: I have too many mental issues to not be afraid of it, but in a very familiar way. Its avatars need to stop serving so much cunt and being morally ambiguos. The Stranger: The fact that we fear anything that looks human but isnt just quite while there is nothing in nature like that means that there is an evolutionary reason for that. at some point it was necessary for survival to be afraid of something that wasnt quite human. The Vast: used to have a fear of height as a child. now i really enjoy plane turbulences. really wish its avatars werent little wet cat asshole men. the vast needed a lesbian... the other powers got lesbians why couldnt the vast... The Web: I am the web. I love the web. I am a stupidly good manipulator who makes an active effort not to manipulate people irl. The things i could do if i didnt have a half decent moral compass.

Time to yap about my eeveelution lore

this whole thing is based off of pokemon GO btw

Everyone started out as an eevee! obviously. At first there were only two. The first to evolve was also the eldest of the eevees, akito! He evolved into a sylveon. The second to evolve was the other, who evolved into a glaceon - these two were like older brothers to everyone else, and are practically inseparable. WILL throw hands (feelers? paws?) to protect each other. Also the glaceon is called Ace, they raced each other a lot. The third and fourth eevees were also brought in and taken care of, and so the older brother duo thing started. One evolved into an espeon. these two... basically ALWAYS got into trouble. Sneaking snacks around, breaking stuff with telekenisis, etc. Then a flareon was caught! So current situation, in order of being brought in: Sylveon (Akito), Glaceon (Ace), Espeon (Oliver), Eevee (Levi) and Flareon (Asher, nicknamed firefighter as a joke). Okay! So, because it took a lot of time and effort to take care of so many vees, the trainer only had time for some of the vees at nighttime. This eventually resulted in Levi (eevee) evolving into an umbreon! ...which lead to more espeon-umbreon tag-team telekenisis mayhem. Oftentimes Akito (sylveon) or Ace (glaceon) came to sort it out tho. (But they don't snitch! Just try to stop them and put all the stuff back. Once, Ace got stuck in the fridge and took a nap there after putting away some treats Levi snuck out at night. No one realised until next morning, and left everyone wondering how glaceon biology works. And what about Asher, you may ask? He is a certified good boi :3 very playful and often plays games with everyone else! As a result everyone loves him. And for good reason, he always means the best for everyone. Very pure stuff! After a lot more eevee hunting, another 3 were brought in. On the way back from a walk through a nearby park the second one evolved into a leafeon, which ended up becoming an inside joke as to how quickly he evolved. The other two eevees were more calculated about what they really wanted to be, and after a couple months of more eevee randomness, one evolved into a vaporeon! This was when the trainer decided to instead of taking only 2 or 3 of them on walks at a time, to bring all of them in one go. ...This was a mistake. Two other trainers mistook it for a pokemon battle request, Asher almost burned a couple hedges down by accident, the vaporeon (rainer. yes I used the pokemon go name even though he canonically used a water stone. I'm lazy okay I'm bad at names) snuck into someone's pool and turned into water (took half an hour to get him out. somehow didn't get fined.), Oliver caused all sorts of telekenetic chaos, (tried to lift multiple of the eeveelutions as a prank, he does this often. Except usually it's not more than one, or outside. He missed and accidentally terrorised multiple pokemon and children.)

After all that, it was decided to NEVER EVER EVER bring out all the eeveelutions at once unless it was absolutely necessary.

Anyway! You know the gist, more eevees were caught. So home situation: Akito (sylveon), Ace (glaceon), Oliver (espeon), Levi (umbreon), Asher (Flareon), Rainer (vaporeon), Linen (Leafeon) and Tunner (eevee). So all the eeveelutions and eevee, with the exception of Jolteon.

Anyway I'm too lazy to type out the actual plot so I'll reblog this with more later

Random yearly life update for yall because a LOT has happened and I rarely visit Tumblr but miss some of the mutuals and friends here! If you want more frequent yapping, I do post more frequently on my cosplay Instagram under the same name!

I officially got promoted in October! I'd been working my but off to get to that level and I'm glad I did. I love my job and I can't tell rn if capitalism is draining me or if the job itself is too draining. Sticking it out for now, but we'll see.

My partner and I are exploring where we want to end up once we introduce his cats to my son and they can tolerate each other (we've been living together for months now, but the cats haven't been introduced).

But the biggest life update is that I am (legally) married to my partner! We plan to have a full ceremony in a few years, but we were worried with the turn the government is taking that it may not be legal in our state anymore. We traveled to Chicago to ensure for a good while that we're protected. Got some cute photos as well!

Afterwards we went out on a small "honeymoon" to Gatlinburg, Tennessee. We wanted to get close to a national park. The first (obvious for me lol) choice was Mt. Rainer but we were advised to wait until it was a bit warmer. Got some cute photos

It was amazing. I love the national parks so so much. So important to keep them safe imo.

ok so the big ones in the area are rainier flight service and regal air, which are both at paine field, and there used to be galvin flying at boeing field, but they shut down :,( but i think rainier is opening a location there though.

it looks like rainer might be hiring and from what i have seen from student perspective they are really cool link to hiring page for them -> www.rainierflightservice.com/jobs

also there are some independent flight instructors around, but obviously that is much harder to do

and in terms of seattle itself i love it here, it is really trans inclusive (i think we have the most trans people per capita?), the nature is beautiful, and there are so many aviation opportunities since we have both boeing and alaska airlines so they bring in lots of smaller aviation things
