CAN WE FIND ISHTA DEV THROUGH ASTROLOGY, AND MY VIEW WITH A DIFFERENCE
In Hinduism it is said that there are 33 Crores of Devtas and that is this the most common question that many people ask as astrologer is to know their Ishta Dev.
We believe that our problems in life is heard by one’s Ishta Dev more nicely and we get the solution much faster when we pray to our Ishta dev.
Since there are many Gods in Hinduism so will be the Ishta Dev also and every family from a certain section of area will have a Ishta Dev. So the best way to know about one’s Ishta Dev is to ask his relatives within the family and the elders ( old ) as they could be the best person to tell.
When someone does not know about Ishta Dev and neither there is any source from the family who know about it, goes to the vedic astrologer to know about it as per their horoscope.
Yes, in vedic astrology the dictum about one Ishta Dev is given by the great Rishis Monis and one can know it from their horoscope.
MY VIEW WITH A DIFFERENCE
I am not going in the academic part of finding Ishta Dev as there are different techniques in vedic astrology to find it and again there are different dictums and it’s a confusion as which one is the correct method.
Every astrologer following a particular branch of astrology will tell that their way of finding Ishta Dev is the correct way.
Let us not go deep in the dictum and academic part of astrology.
My simple understanding is that a family of mother, father, brothers and sisters will have a single and same Ishta Dev.
BUT WHEN ASTROLOGICALLY ONE WILL TRY TO FIND IT FROM THEIR HOROSCOPE IT WILL SHOW DIFFERENT ISHTA DEV FOR ALL OR FEW.
This is where my understanding gets stuck.
I don’t call myself a Pandit, may be understanding is less, BUT I do talk like a Pandit ( am I banging my own trumpet too hard . . .ha . .ha . . ha ..ha )
MY VIEW
I always feel that we should invoke the God we know and understand with our true devotion.
THAKUR SHRI RAMKRISHNA SAID GOD IS ONE, BE IT OF ANY RELIGION.
If one collects a small pebble from the road and wash it and invoke it with prayer and devotion, even God will appear from that pebble too.
God is everywhere, what is more needed for oneself is the self-realization.
SELF-REALIZATION IS FOREMOST IMPORTANT TO UNDERSTAND GOD.
Once a person has self-realization or in the path of it, he will then understand that God is within himself / herself and there is no longer need to go to the vedic astrologer to know the ISHTA DEV thru vedic horoscope.
I always tell my client that you pray the God you love the most / have faith / believe the most / like the most. ( my words are very basic, poor English, please excuse me . . . .ha ha ha ha ).
God will definitely bless you.

Dakshineswar Kali Temple
Dakshineswar Kali Temple is a Hindu navaratna temple located at Kolkata. Situated on the eastern bank of the Hooghly River, When India was still groping under the British rule trying hard to come to terms laid down by the English, Kolkata was the capital of the country and was then the second largest city of the British Empire only next to London. In the early 1800s, Dakshineswar was a small village along the eastern banks of the River Ganga. The Temple was built in 1855. Rani Rashmani was the creator of this famous pilgrimage of Bengal.
Dakshineshwar Kali Temple, built in the traditional 'Nava-ratna' or nine spires style of Bengal architecture, the three-storeyed south-facing temple has nine spires distributed in upper two storeys, and stands on a high platform with a flight of stairs, Close to the main temple are the row of twelve identical Shiva temples built facing the east in the typical ‘Aat Chala’ Bengal architecture, they are built on either side of the ghat on the Hoogly river. To the North east of the Temple Complex is the Vishnu Temple or the Radha Kanta’s Temple.
The idols of the Gods and the Goddess was decided to be installed on the ‘snana-yatra day’, an auspicious days of the Hindus. 31st May 1855, more than 1 lakh Brahmins were invited from different parts of the country to grace the auspicious occasion amidst the controversy of the Rani being in no position to own a temple and to offer Brahmins to feed since she was of low birth. Ramkrishna Dev, was the main priest of this kali temple.
The temple is accessed via road (easily can reached from the Kolkata city as well as from the city Howrah) or river. For a special treat, one can rent a boat and arrive at the temple's bathing ghat. It is here Sri Sarada Devi, Sri Ramakrishna's wife used to bathe. A parking facility is within the temple compound which charges a nominal fee. The Barrackur Road is the major link road to the region. One can get Inter state and many private buses to this temple. The railways in one more option open to reach the place.

🕉 🚩 🇮🇳 ⠀ ⠀ ⠀ The Keshavdeva Temple was built by Ramkrishna Dalmia in memory of his mother Jadiadevi Dalmia. The construction of the temple started on 29 June 1957 and inaugurated on 6 September 1958 by Hanuman Prasad Poddar. It is located south of the Shahi Eidgah.⠀ ⠀ Garbha Griha shrine⠀ ⠀ Shahi Eidgah was constructed on the sabhamandapa (assembly hall) of the original temple and the garbha griha (sanctum sactorum) was left. It is considered as the place of the prison cell where Krishna is believed to have born. A marble pavilion and an underground prison cell were built on the place with spacious veranda. There is shrine near it dedicated to eight-handed goddess Yogmaya. It is located against the rear wall of the Shahi Eidgah.⠀ ⠀ Bhagavata Bhavan⠀ ⠀ The construction of the temple dedicated to Shrimad Bhagavata was started on 11 February 1965 and the installation ceremony of the deities were held on 12 February 1982. The ceiling, walls and pillars of the assembly hall are adorned with frescoes depicting life events of Krishna and his associates and devotees. The text of Bhagavad Gita engraved on copper-plates adorn the walls of the parikrama(circumambulation) of the main temple. There are statues of Malaviya and Birla in the complex.⠀ ⠀ Potra Kund⠀ ⠀ There is a large and deep stepped water tank, Potra Kund or Pavitra Kund, in south-east of the Janmasthan temple which is said to have been used for the first bath of child Krishna after his birth. The steps of the tank were built by Mahadji Scindia in 1782. They were restored by his descendants in 1850.⠀ ⠀ ⠀ 📸 DM for credits (at Keshav Dev Mandir) https://www.instagram.com/p/CDp_lXgFzVO/?igshid=16jxsmv3sbxij

Kali - You and Me Feared, worshipped, adored, and mysterious. The concept of Goddess Kali and portrayal of the fearsome feminine power is old and strong. Most Bengalis are aware of the story how Dakhineshwar Kali Mandir was made when Rani Rashmoni (not someone of a higher caste) built the temple. At that time, it was seen as a taboos and no priest accepted her offer to do puja in the temple, Ramkrishna Dev’s older brother accepted the offer. Then one day it is said that Goddess Kali came in his dreams and told to handover the temple duties and puja to Ramkrishna Dev. But my question here is, why cannot someone belonging to a caste lower than Brahman or Kshatriya build a temple and why did a woman as strong as Rani Rashmoni had to struggle so much to just worship the Goddess. The Goddess doesn’t discriminate in caste gender, celibacy, or in menstruation. Why do we? In Kamakhya Devi temple in Assam, during Ambawachi in June, the temple is closed for 3 days where it is said that the yoni of Goddess Sati fell there and it bleeds for 3 days and the temple premises are closed. But that blood is considered to be the sacred of all. That blood is sacred but ours is impure? Ironical right? There were scientific reasons in older days to keep women aloof during those days because of unavailability of sanitary napkins and hygiene practices. But now everything is there. So, tell me, who wrote the rules? You, me, or God or Goddesses? #illgrammers #featuremeinstagood #greatermag #lucecurated #shoutmag #womenwithavision #theheavycollective #expofilm #herfadedsquares #paperjournalmag #visualauthority #nothingisordinary #tangledinfilm #portrait_society #thoughts #followthelight #portrait #thoughtcatalog #allshots #agameoftones #simpleandbeyond #breakingstereotypes #bengalitradition #indianculture #portra400 #nowherediary #bengalihistory #instaportraits #portraitsfromtheworld #pulpkeyxyou @pulpkey Saree from @nakshthelabel Blouse from @parama_g (at Pune, Maharashtra) https://www.instagram.com/p/CDT5U56BjE8/?igshid=13k8umta4253g

Olcott New York (Usa) 1875     Allahabad Seva Samiti Seva Samiti was another organization founded by another prominent member of the Servants of India Society, Hridayanath Kunzru. Founded in 1914 at Allahabad, the Seva Samiti had as its objective to organise social service during natural disasters like floods and epidemics, to promote the spread of education, cooperation, sanitation, to uplift depressed classes, reform criminals and rescue the fallen.   Arya Samaj Swami Dayananda Saraswati, the founder of the Arya Samaj, was one of the makers of modern India. With an indigenous orientation, he wanted to bring a new social, religious, economic and political order in India. Taking inspiration from Veda, he criticized evil practices like idolatry, caste system, untouchability etc. as prevailed in the then Indian society.   Atmiya Sabha Atmiya Sabha was a philosophical discussion circle in India. The association was started by Ram Mohan Roy in 1815 in Kolkata (then Calcutta). They used to conduct debate and discussion sessions on philosophical topics, and also used to promote free and collective thinking and social reform. The foundation of Atmiya Sabha in 1815 is considered as the beginning of the modern age in Kolkata. In 1823, the association became defunct.    Bombay Indian National Conference Indian National Congress (INC), a voice of Indian opinion to the British government held its first session on 28th December, 1885. Founded upon the authority of British civil servant Allan Octavian Hume, the Congress was created to form a platform for civic and political dialogue of educated Indians with the British Raj and met each December. The first meeting was scheduled to be held in Poona, but due to a cholera outbreak it was shifted to Bombay.    Brahmo Samaj Brahmo Samaj is a Hindu reform movement. It is the societal component of Brahmoism, a monotheistic reformist movement of Hindu religion that appeared during the Bengal Renaissance. It is practised today mainly as the Adi Dharm after its eclipse in Bengal consequent to the exit of the Tattwabodini Sabha from its ranks in 1839. After the publication of Hemendranath Tagore's Brahmo Anusthan (code of practice) in 1860 which formally divorced Brahmoism from Hinduism, the first Brahmo Samaj was founded in 1861 at Lahore by Pandit Nobin Chandra Roy.   Dar-ul-Ulum The Darul Uloom Deoband is the Darul uloom Islamic school in India where the Deobandi Islamic movement began. It is located at Deoband, a town in Saharanpur district, Uttar Pradesh. The school was founded in 1866 by the ulema (Islamic scholars) Muhammad Qasim Nanotvi, Rasheed Ahmed Gangohi and 'Abid Husaiyn.   Deccan Education Society In 1880 Vishnushastri Chiplunkar and Bal Gangadhar Tilak established the New English School, one of the first native-run schools offering Western education in Pune. In 1884 they created the Deccan Education Society with Gopal Ganesh Agarkar, Mahadev Ballal Namjoshi, V. S. Apte, V. B. Kelkar, M. S. Gole and N. K. Dharap. Soon afterwards, they established Fergusson College with Tilak and Agharkar as early lecturers.   Dharma Sabha Dharma Sabha was formed in 1830 in Calcutta by Raja Radhakant Deb. The organization was established mainly to counter the ongoing social reform movements led by protagonists such as Raja Ram Mohun Roy and Henry Derozio. More specifically, the impetus of forming the organization came from a new law enacted by the colonial Government which banned the practice of sati in the country; the focus of the new association was to repel the law which was seen as an intrusion by the Government into the religious affairs of the indigenous people by some sections of the Hindu community.   Lahore Deva Samaj Sh. Shiv Narayan Agnihotri was born at Sri Akbarpur U.P. on 20 December 1850 to Sh. Rameshwar Agnihotri and Smt. Mohan Kunwar. He had his basic education at Sri Akbarpur and for further education enrolled in the Thompson Engineering College at Roorkee (Now IITRoorkee) in 1866. On 9 July 1871, he accepted Pandit Shiv Dayal singh as his personal guru. After completing his education he took up various jobs. In 1873 he moved to Lahore. He became an active member of Brahmo Samaj in 1875 and worked tirelessly for various reformist movements started by it. On 20 December 1882, he left his job and took Jeevan Vrat जीवन व्रत (life Vow).   Darul Uloom Nadwatul Ulama Darul Uloom Nadwatul Ulama is an Islamic institution at Lucknow, India, which draws large number of Muslim students from all over the world. Nadwatul Ulama fosters a diverse range of both scholars and students including Hanafis (the predominant group), Shafi'isand Ahl al-Hadith. Additionally it is one of very few institutes in the region to teach the Islamic Sciences completely in Arabic. Nadwa's objective was reaching a middle path between classical Islam and modernity. It was founded at Kanpur in 1894 in the first annual convention of Nadwatul Ulema ("Organisation of Scholars") by Muhammad Ali Mungeri, Ashraf Ali Thanwi, Mahmud-ul-Hasan with an idea to counter the challenge of western education.    Manav Dharma Sabha Manav Dharma Sabha was one of the earliest socio-religious reform movements in Gujarat and British India. It was founded on 22 June 1844 in Surat by Mehtaji Durgaram Manchharam, Dadoba Pandurang Tarkhadkar and a few others. The goals of the Sabha were to expose the hypocritical arts present in Christian, Muslim and Hindu religions. It had a very short life span and ceased to exist as Dadoba left for Bombay in 1846 and Durgaram left for Rajkot in 1852. It acted as a secret society and is believed that the revelation of its existence hastened its demise.   Muhammadan Educational Conference The All India Muhammadan Educational Conference was an organisation promoting modern, liberal education for the Muslim community in India. It was founded by Syed Ahmed Khan, also the founder of the Aligarh Muslim University. All India Mumammadan Educational Conference was the origin of the All-India Muslim League. The Muslim League was born in the 20th session of All India Muhammadan Educational Conference, which was established by Syed Ahmed Khan in Aligarh in 1886. Muhammadan Educational Conference used to hold its annual meetings in various cities where, by the co-operation of local Muslims, steps were taken for the progress of education.   Paramahansa Mandali Paramahansa Mandali was a secret socio-religious group in Bombay and is closely related to Manav Dharma Sabha which was found in 1844 in Surat. It was started by Mehtaji Durgaram, Dadoba Pandurang and a group of his friends. Dadoba Pandurang assumed leadership of this organisation after he left Manav Dharma Sabha. He outlined his principles in Dharma Vivechan in 1848 for Manav Dharma Sabha and "Paramhansik Bramhyadharma" for Paramahansa Mandali. It was the first socio-religious organization of Maharashtra. Founded in 1849 Maharashtra, the founders of these mandli believed in one god. They were primarily interested in breaking caste rules. At their meetings food cooked by lower caste people was taken by the members. These mandali also advocated women's education and widow remarriage.   Poona Seva Sadan Ramabai Ranade (25 January 1863 – 1924) was an Indian social worker and one of the first women's rights activists in the 19th century. She was born in Kurlekar family in 1863 . At the age of 11, she was married to Justice Mahadev Govind Ranade, who was a distinguished Indian scholar and social reformer. In that era of social inequality, women were not allowed to go to school and become literate, Ramabai, soon after her marriage, started to learn reading and writing with strong support and encouragement from Mahadev Govind Ranade. Starting with her native language Marathi, Ramabai strove hard to master English and Bengali. Inspired by her husband, Ramabai started 'Hindu Ladies Social Club' in Mumbai to develop public speaking among women. Ramabai was also a founder and President of 'Seva Sadan Society' in Pune. Ramabai devoted her life to the improvement of women's lives. Ramabai Ranade with her husband and other colleagues established in 1886 the first girls' high school in Pune.   Prarthna Samaj Prarthana Samaj, or "Prayer Society" in Sanskrit, was a movement for religious and social reform in Bombay based on earlier reform movements. Prarthana Samaj was founded by Atmaram Pandurang with the help of Keshav Chandra Sen in 1867, with an aim to make people believe in one God and worship only one God. It became popular after Mahadev Govind Ranade joined. The main reformers were the intellectuals who advocated reforms of the social system of the Hindus.   Radha Swami Satsang Radha Soami Satsang Beas (RSSB) is a philosophical organization based on the spiritual teachings of all religions, dedicated to a process of inner development under the guidance of a spiritual teacher. The main centre of RSSB is at Dera Baba Jaimal Singh, located on the banks of the Beas River, in the northern India state of Punjab. RSSB was founded in India in 1891 and steadily began spreading to other countries. A letter from Maharshi Devendranath Tagore communicating his blessings and prayer for the success of the new Samaj was read in the meeting. At the time of its foundation the Sadharan Brahmo Samaj was headed by three men universally esteemed in Brahmo society for their high moral character.

New Post has been published on https://sentoornetwork.com/ramkrishna-devs-connection-with-digambar-mitras-premises/
