He's just trying to joke a little about the situation. He highly doubts Sera would notice anything or forbid this kind of thing. At least, he REALLY hopes so.

Abel is... shocked, so much so that he doesn’t know how to react. She too... She...? The angel wonders if he's going to explode, with how wildly his poor little heart is racing. This is good, it's really good! He just wants to pinch himself to make sure he's not dreaming!

"No, why would I be angry? I... This is amazing! I mean, I don’t really know what I’m supposed to say in a situation like this, I never mentally prepared myself for you to have... feelings for me too."

He had never really talked about it before, afraid of ruining their relationship. Emily was truly important to him—he didn’t want his feelings to destroy their friendship.

He gently takes Emily’s hands in his, his eyes shining.
