A ramble on what I'm making

Here's a wip pic of an artwork I'm making for a series. The series is gonna be on scenes of the sky at different times of day. Below is a pic of Sleep (second pic) and exploratory drawings that have led to this project. I made Sleep a while ago and I was so caught up in making these flowy clouds for a while that it was a fixation. They're not too different from other cloud drawings out there but I still wanted to keep working it out. It's also kind of relaxing just doing these repetitive lines even if it's tedious.

After that, I revisited those clouds because I wasn't satisfied with how they turned out. The rest of the pics are some of the doodles I did to figure it out. Now the wip doesn't show the kind of clouds I have here in the pics and it's only a piece of the bigger thing, but I ended up doing more exploring and made different versions. I think I'm getting to a place where I will be satisfied with these funky wavy puffs. It does take a long time to be drawing all those lines and I basically made it harder for myself, so I should experiment with better methods. Hopefully something good comes out of doing this long way approach for now.

Coming Back

I really wanna update the look of this blog and start using it as... well, a blog. I feel like I need sum internet space to unwind and not feel pressured to be anything or anyone and just YAP maybe? but like... how do you do that?!

Started my masters and one week in the pressure s huge plus I'm job hunting so... yeah I really need a space I can call my own in this crazy world before I go coocoo

Kembali melamun di tempat yang tinggi!!!

Tahun 2014 yang lalu, sempat diberi kesempatan singgah ke Sindoro untuk yang pertama kalinya.

Sembilan tahun silam, tepatnya tahun ini, 2023, kembali singgah sejenak di bukit Si Kunir. Tentu, dengan fisik sebagai remaja jompo. Wkwkwk

Meski bukan tempat yang sama, tapi ada suasana yang hampir mirip. Menggendong tas besar, dan jalan menanjak, juga melihat matahari terbit.

Puncak gunung dan puncak bukit, jelas beda!!!!! Tapi, sensasi pagi hari berada di ketinggian, tentu bukan hal yang tiap hari dihadapi. Jadi, bisa kembali mengenang rasanya melamun di pagi hari sembari menyaksikan matahari terbit.

Cukup menyenangkan untuk kembali diulang-ulang!

I guess I'll write about my magical girl here. Don't wanna forget shit after all.

Her name is Claire. She has turned into one of my personas, I tend to make my characters has some traits of mine. What part of me does she have? Tiredness. And my social skills.

Your typical Highschooler, parents either too busy or it's awkward now. (Not inspired). Then uhhh.. She met Moeika, still figuring how. Moeika looks like a cat but he doesn't have whiskers, presumably a demon. He and Heart looks related.

I either wanted Moeika as:

- A: A serious, humble, gentleman and tired 24/7. This man is all about business, a softie inside.

- B: Witty, playful, snarky ass motherfucker. Oh wait. This is basically Miwa. Anyhow, also a softie. This guy is all about jokes and fun while something bad happens.

They have similar traits, which is a requirement (?). Loyal, softie (This is the third time I repeated that), emotional support for Claire. Wise, protective? Maybe. He's some demon who gave powers to Claire, it's literally dark magic but he was like "..I'll make it cute for you."
