I feel like I might be the only one that actually likes this man. I don’t know, I find him hilarious anytime he’s on screen. I definitely also like him and Carlos as partners. These two together are magic.

the part of this ep where carlos was talking to campbell about tk wanting to adopt jonah!!!! he loves tk & he loves jonah and he so desperately wants to be ready to be there for his husband and his brother but the grief and need he feels to hold gabriel’s killer accountable is holding him back so much. you can see it so clearly when he goes from talking about jonah to why he couldn’t feel ready to take him in, given the circumstances.

tk saying he gets it when all he wants to do is not HAVE to get it. to unpause their life. he wants to stop holding back the part of him that just wants to say “come back home and grieve and live the life we’re lucky enough to have after everything that’s happened”. to just keep building their world around them and be there for his husbands grief and sorrow more than the justice carlos longs to demand & see themselves in the next phases of their life together thriving and dealing with whatever else the universe throws at them!!!

here are seven sentences from chapter two of Our Love Will Find You. (aka the "where's TK fanfic)

The look that crosses Carlos's face is nothing short of gut wrenching, like his whole world is falling apart around him.  Campbell’s heart breaks for the man. He knows exactly how Carlos is feeling. He’s been where Carlos is now: a missing spouse, a scared kid at home, and every bit of evidence leading to dead end after dead end. That’s why he knows there’s nothing he can say that’ll make Carlos feel any better. The only thing that can make him feel better now is finding TK.  Campbell makes a silent promise to himself that he will be there with Carlos every step of the way and do whatever needs to be done to make that happen.
