Mutant mayhem Raph unironically listens to Maneskin.

I finally watched Mutant Mayhem the other day and I loved it so much.

When I was watching it I felt that Mikey had a lot of focus that he doesn’t normally get in tmnt films. Leo obviously had his being a leader and trying to find acceptance arc with his brothers but I couldn’t help but notice that Mikey had so much focus.

He’s the last in line on the walk home and has the slow moments where he’s watching the humans that his brothers didn’t get as much, he’s the one to ask April if other humans would accept them, he’s the one who is attached to the machine the longest, he had that moment in the battle where he can’t really hear and is disoriented and that’s a scene that you would normally think would go to Leo but Mikey gets it instead and I’m sure he’s target 1 in the last scene.

I’ve wanted a more Mikey and Donnie centric movie for ages now since the 90s and 2007 films were more Leo and Raph centric but I’m nervous if they give him more angst but I love it too.

Unfair question. (Thank you for Asking! Nothing against you 💚)

I love 2012Raph because watching his struggle with his anger issues gives me a sense of connection with him. Anger is hard. Anger is impossible. How do you control that? How do you manage it?

He learns. And I learn with him. Over and over and OVER.

I haven’t seen that much of Mutant Mayhem Raph, but I did binge the series and I’MMA BEAT UP THAT KID AND THROW HIM IN THE BACK OF A TRUCK DO NOT TEMPT ME HUGS WILL ENSUE-

The only reason that I haven’t? Mm.

I don’t know him. Currently, I know OF him, but I don’t know his brain in the same way that I understand 2012Raph. I’ve seen 2012Raph be his angry self in all the best/worst ways hundreds of times. I haven’t seen the next movie or second season of TOTTMNT. I don’t know him completely. He could develop an arc or personality trait or literally anything could happened that makes me shy away from him.

I don’t make rants or stories or content on things that I don’t understand. It’s just a me thing. My brain is weird like that.

To understand, I need to know the full story.

And since I lost my free episodes, I’m gonna have to wait till I have access again before I can continue learning his character.

So, to summarize, I’d say….

I’d say I’m most comfortable with 2012Raph.

I’d say I’m most fascinated with MMRaph.

Who do I like more?

I’d need the entire collection of MMRaph moments in the foreground and background to devour before I can decide that.

So I was going to show my sister a funny picture on my phone, and we have a jack and Jill ( connecting ) bathroom to our rooms, and so I was going in there. She also had to tell me something interesting, but she was SPRINTING through the bathroom. We ran into each other with a painful BAM, now my nose hurts and I have a scratch on my foot, and her nose also hurts and she cannot feel her toe.

I think it’s rlly sweet that Raph uses sports to blow off steam and control his anger- Even though he denies that it isn’t a problem, and it really isn’t at time, he knows deep down that his bad temper is a issue.
