Nether Tree Farm - Tinker World 5 (012)

Now that I have a couple of reliable sources of gunpowder to make TNT, I want to find a good place to use it. No, I don't mean Tinker's base. Instead, I want to build a nether wood farm.

This combines the tree farms with bone meal farms from RaysWorks. I wanted to have four tree generator but I ran out of time so there are only two. Still, it's producing a reasonable amount of logs.

saw this one post about minecraft lore and i just want to add on my own two cents

everyone's talking about the things people are doing with minecraft, people like RaysWorks and Sethbling dominating the redstone section, Scicraft breaking the game without breaking the rules, Hermitcraft and their huge utopian society, and of course the DreamSMP's conflicted, convoluted storyline that tells a tale of humanity and the small hopes left for the battered and broken.

but we're forgetting about the game itself

minecraft radiates an emptiness. a void that you cannot fill by yourself but with other people. no matter how much you achieve, how many worlds you link together, you are alone.

but we haven't thought about the things that came before it, right?

my favorite example of this is the Diaries of a Minecraft Warrior series by Cube Kid- it suggests the idea that there WAS something here before, a world of kingdoms and castles and deep, intertwined lore.

And then it was lost.

See, when you're alone playing Minecraft, no matter how hard you're working on your project, there's no escaping the feeling that you're alone, but there's something looking over your shoulder.

That's why we could never leave.

The mystery of the game.

Mojang has crafted a god damn masterpiece that I'm not going to forget in a hundred years.

Fun games to play while watching hermitcraft

- guess the farm designer (common choices are gnembom, ilmango, and raysworks)

- guess the hermit (if theres a secret message (like the task master in tangos vids), guess who sent it)

- try to figure out how scar keeps dying

- try to predict what zeds gonna do before he does it (very hard)

- guess the build (at the start of timelapses, guess what the build will look like. This also works for seeing partially completed builds in the background of videos)

- guess the builder (worked best last season with the shopping district (is there a shopping district this season? Im not paying attention), but just based on style and contents, guess who built the structure)

I think it's funny that like, it's not well known outside the minecraft technical community but most of the technical community hates Raysworks (for very good reason, he's shitty and a design thief) and nobody hates Raysworks more than Scicraft, especially Ilmango and Gnembon, and Doc is very close to them and they help him with his Hermitcraft builds-- and yet other hermits get help from Ray with their builds sometimes and praise him. Like that's so awkward fjldgkngkj

So like… ilmango and raysworks are demigods, beings who unraveled the fabric of reality to learn the ways of the gods, bringing creations to the mortal realm by mortal means. Gnembon was amongst them, and has risen now

In the minecraft gods pantheon, Mojang should exist governing at the top as benevolent deity of multiple everchanging faces (like the pieces of their logo) and an echo-y voice.

Capable of changing the laws of nature and shape the universe to their creativity, always wanting to bring something better for their beloved players.

that, and also the hermits are their blorbos, I'm sorry but they are biased, except for Doc they despise him.

@RaysWorks Nope, not in that case. I added to the ticket in the bug tracker explaining how to recreate. Also, there is this odd thing with non water logging blocks where a water source below them sucks entities into the center as if there is a water current. via @Xavom24

All the members are very knowledgeable about the game

They made a way to get to the border of every dimension

Raysworks is my favorite member his videos on how to make diffrent farms has really helped me improve my skill

its so funny for me to see posts on my dash abt hermitcraft ppl being absolutely horrified by dream smp content like “theres creeper holes everywhere?? people fight wars and theres lives n shit?? everyone steals shit? what??” bc i have the exact OPPOSITE fear reaction to hermitcraft. it absolutely terrifies me. 

dream smp is accessible. yeah everyones got some amount of lives and they scurry in the dirt and fight and shit, sure, thats just human history but HERMITCRAFT??

hermitcraft is some eldritch fucking being of mega builds and deities n shit. like  their fucking houses are MASSIVE and INTRICATE, what the fuck do you MEAN someone flipped someones house as a PRANK?? those players have no issue with grinding their life away because damn this build would look good w anvil accents and some netherite blocks. do they just fucking LIVE on the server to get it all done??? i dont even know what the fUCK the mycelium war is but it sounds absolutely horrifying and eldritch as its all consuming and they all do this chaos with a polite wave and smile. its just a scale i cant COMPREHEND dude fjkdsljf
