A primer on RCD for those undiagnosed or who've never heard of it

RCD (Rebellious Communist Disorder) is an often neglected form of neurodivergence. I had never heard of it before I started showing symptoms, and even then, it took me months of research and reaching out before I found others who'd been diagnosed it. Despite this, it's extremely common: up to 0,6 % of all US adults have been estimated to have some form of RCD. So I have prepared a little introduction on the topic (please keep in mind I'm not a medical expert; you should do follow-up research on it), in case I can help other people find valuable information about themselves.

As per the DSM-5, here is a list of the common symptoms of RCD. Remember: you may still be RCD if you only show a few of them.

-Short temper

-Unexplained periods of depression

-Mood swings

-An unhealty obsession with world politics, news, and economy

-Drug-seeking behavior

-Idealization of authoritarian historical figures

-Radical black-and white thinking

-Needing rules to "make sense" before following them

-Opposition to authority figures

-Job dissatisfaction

-Spending excessive time online

-Often comorbid with OCD, DID, autism, ADHD, psychosis, ODD and autogynephilia.

-Bolshevism

I never really played Red Carpet Diaries properly - using diamonds and such - but I remember the frikkin stunning dress MC wears when she was shooting the historical fiction movie with Thomas Hunt so I immediately headcanonned that outside of shooting they fell away from the rest of the crew and danced together.
