I swear Watson sometimes forgets other people can actually read what he publishes in the Strand. Like, I wonder if Lestrade ever comes over, and casually mentions that he's been reading some of his work, and Watson's just like "Oh cool, what do you think?"

And Lestrade goes, "Well, it's all very entertaining, but you've certainly fictionalized a great deal of things."

And Watson is like "Huh? I mean, most of it's pretty accurate, I guess I occasionally change some names and dates around for privacy..."

Lestrade: I assume that's why you've altered my appearance in your accounts?

Watson: What? I mean! Oh, yes! *nervous laugh* Of course I would never describe you like a ferret in real life, that's, that's just for the stories...

Lestrade: And I'm SURE all of the BURGLARY and other such law breaking you and Mr. Holmes do is entirely fictional as well?

Watson: *sweating heavily* yep. totally. 100% did not do ANY of that. allll fiction.

(meanwhile, Holmes, the only person in Watson's life who doesn't actively read the Strand, the second Lestrade leaves: you published WHAT?!)

“Paramour” ❤️ is the second chapter of my debut poetry collection; it tells the story of my teenage concept of love, narrating my own experiences, relationships and notions of romance whilst still a child.

I absolutely love the poems here; they are all so sentimental and dear. It illustrates just how passionately I can love.
