the tumbr leftists have been arguing about communism and anarchism all day again and idk. ever since i've been more involved in community organizing this past year, it just makes most of these Internet Arguments look really really pathetic
#reality often requires a multitude of flexible attitudes towards organizing in order to... yknow#work with other people#sometimes you do have to avoid having any kind of hierarchy#sometimes you do have to enforce strict boundaries as to what peoples' duties are in order to be fully involved#but most of the time you're not even gonna have access to more than a hundred people doing consistent and meaningful action#so like. you do what works with the given circumstances idk#i just feel like a lot of these people are well read but inexperienced which kinda. makes their arguments diluted#aug 2024#aug2024
