“Life can only be understood backwards; but it must be lived forwards.”
For our sixth task, and the first of this new arc, we ask you to look to the future. To imagine what plots lay in wait for your character. This task is as ever, optional, but we especially encourage everyone to participate in this one!
This task comes in two parts. Part the first, come up with a list of plots. At least three, though more are welcome. Three plots or arcs you’d like to explore with your character. They can be personal, or related to the overall Skrull plot, they can be big or small, just some indication of the direction you’re taking your character. Will they be taken over by a Skrull at one point? Do you hope they fall in love? Are they wrestling with inner demons that they need to face head on, once and for all? Explore your options and take your time fleshing them out in your list. Any questions or concerns, and you can contact the main. As always, major plot ideas like pregnancy or death or severe injury, should be run by admins first.
Onto part two! Once your list of plots is completed and posted with the tag ‘rebuildtask6′ it’s time to reach out to others. Read through the plots other people have come up with, and find a couple that interest you. Or if you see someone’s plot lining up with one of yours, reach out and see if you can make it work together! The point of this task is to foster a real sense of community and to help everybody move their plots forward. Don’t be afraid to ask each other questions, and keep an open mind -- maybe tweak your plots to fit with an interested party. But also remember to stay respectful. We’re all writers and adults, so if someone declines interest in your plot, that’s okay. There’s lots of us here. The main point is to have fun.
Remember to tag your posts with ‘rebuildtask6′! Please keep the general ‘rebuildtask’ tag open for admin use.

“You KNOW who I AM.”
After this solo (see I have justification for writing insanely long solo pieces) Tony has finally decided to face his drinking problem head on. This is maybe the biggest challenge for him this season because he’s been struggling with it since he was a teenager, not even admitting it to himself. He’ll probably push people away for most of the season, put a strain on his relationships, but him opening up about his problems and getting some support as he works through this would also be amazing to explore.
With the Panel take-over, Tony can finally feel confident openly promoting the Accords even though it’s been something he’s been doing all along, really. Taking up his role as PR guy, a job he is pretty good at if he says so himself, he’d come into contact with a lot of different people, both those who are for the Accords and who are against them. It could be interesting to have him helping those who decide to sign after the fact, or being able to work openly with those who are unregistered, which he couldn’t do under Orse.
The Skrulls have invaded, and Tony is searching for answers about them in any way he can. Having someone with him who wants to look into this too and try to find a way to identify them is his goal, although this would be a massive thing to plot out. I’m willing to have him looking into a few different leads as well!
Now that Tony’s getting his life together, he throws himself into his work with the Maria Stark Relief Foundation. Anyone who wants to volunteer to help out with those affected by the Strike Force, the aliens or the destruction that always seems to be coming New York’s way will be welcomed. It’s not the guilt that makes him a philanthropist, after all, it’s his heart. (Okay, and a lot of guilt added in too.)

“oh, my eyes are seeing red”
“double vision from the blood we’ve shed”
Here are some plots for my quiet, reserved, semi-murderous muse! Feel free to message or like and I’ll message or whatever you’re feeling!
1. triggered: Laura has been on the run from her past for over a year. But staying put in New York could catch up to her, and soon the Facility finds her. This results in either one of two things: Kimura, an indestructible assassin who is also Laura’s handler finds her, and attempts to take her back and kill anyone who tries to stop her. Alternatively, the Facility could deploy the trigger scent, turning Laura into a mindless killing machine and your muse has to either stop her or survive.
2. feral: Laura is a very headstrong person despite her reserved demeanor. Ever since her escape, her instincts that had made her the fierce assassin have also taken over every aspect of her life to the point where, in times of extreme emotion (rage) she can become rather feral. Your muse could cause this and be forced to deal with the consequences, or simply be a witness to it. Where it goes from here can be plotted out farther!
3. father: Laura came to New York for one reason: to find the man that led to her creation. Unfortunately, he is much more difficult to find than she had thought. Your muse finds her searching, and could decide to help her or hinder her.
If any of these sound cool or just inspire you, hit me up! I’m always looking for more plots, especially with the Skrulls and everything!

“So WHAT if I’m a FREAK?”
Pietro is finally almost recovered from his … ‘accident’ in Sokovia, and willing to train harder than ever. Maybe he finds someone else who is wanting to get stronger, and they push each other to a new level, developing a friendship along the way. Maybe he just gets in a fight with your character and it pushes him to think up new ways to develop his powers (your character could catch him running from the cops, or see his dashing good looks and think there is no way he isn’t a super-villain. It’s understandable).
Now that the Avengers are back together, Pietro is dabbling in heroism. He could save someone’s life, or get his ass saved when he picks a fight he was never going to win. As he progresses over the season I’d like to explore him learning how to work alongside people who aren’t just his sister or his closest friends, to really learn what it means to be a team player – at least as much as Pietro can manage.
Despite the new Panel, Pietro will continue to protest against the government as a whole, and is still against the whole idea of the Accords. It could be fun to have him breaking in somewhere or committing a crime, and he’s either caught with or by someone else, and they have to get out together.
“For my father, who is not evil. Well, maybe a little bit.” Pietro knows now that he was adopted as a kid, and he knows he has the mutant gene that allowed him to survive Strucker’s experiments. To say he’s interested in where that could have come from is an understatement. This would be a very slow-burn arc for this season, but I would like Pietro to look up about his father – and the ultimate shock when he realises who it is.

“she needed a hero”
“so that’s what she became”
Stephanie Brown, my waffle-loving, purple-clad hero. Here are some plots for her! Again, just like or comment or whichever you prefer and we can get to plotting!
1. partner: Once upon a time, Stephanie had been a sidekick. That was when she was Robin, but now she was back to Spoiler and she’d be damned if Spoiler was anyone’s sidekick. Partner, however... that’s a different story. Some event, whether that means convenience or through planned means, leads to Spoiler and your muse teaming up. Where could this lead both of our muses?
2. scarred: Stephanie has been through a lot in her short twenty years. Your muse may or may not know that she is also the Spoiler, but when a few very dark bruises leads to some more intrusive questions, secrets might have to be spilled.
3. college: Stephanie is well into her junior year of college! With everything going on, her studies could get pushed to the back burner but she is determined to not let that happen this semester and pursue her dream of graduating, moving on to med school, and opening her own clinic for those in need. Whether our muses have a similar class, go to the same school, or simply bump into each other is up in the air.
4. bats: This is mainly to tell all the batfam members that I need more stuff with you all!!!

1. I like keeping Harley in the in-between stage of wanting to be good and bad at the same time for now. Ever since she’s come out of the Asylum, she’s been struggling to find her way, finding both the good and bad side appealing. So, I’d love for more people to try and pull her in either direction, whether it would be doing good or being tempted to do something criminal. 2. Also, Harley is looking for any way to spend her time without wasting it away, so any activity or job could be interesting to her. Her long-term goal is to get back to psychology somehow, so if your character can help her in that regard in any way, they are welcome to. 3. If anyone needs psychological help, I can imagine her doing sessions on the low, just to get back into the swing of things and feel important share some compassion. 4. Maybe Harley and your character had their differences in the past, maybe Harley hurt or helped hurting someone important to your character, or them directly. She has to deal with her past more often and I’d love some confrontation.

“Seems so slow to me.”

Bart is a reckless superhero at the moment, he jumps into things he probably shouldn’t without even thinking, he’s impulsive and barely works the problem out when he’s presented with it. It gets him hurt and makes him have to fight harder to get anything done and really how is that making him a productive member of the superhero community? Bart needs someone (or a team) who can level him out, who can take his ungodly amount of energy and put it to some constructive use before he gets himself killed. Or maybe smeone who finds him bloody and in need of a place to rest and a good smack to tell him he shoulld be using his brain for five minutes. Whichever, he probably need someone to do both.
The future is something Bart knows more about then he tends to let on. And by that action it means a lot of the bad things that are going to happen and he doesn’t want to talk about it. He wasn’t really sheilded from it by his parents when he was in the VR chamber, but the whole reason he was in there was to keep him safe from the reality till they could help him. Obvously when he as released from the VR chamber he learned a lot of truths about the world he should be growing up in. Bart mentions but actively avoides talking in length about the future. Sometimes he wants to talk about it, the good and the bad but its something he’s never touched on with anyone. He’d like to get close to someone and let out his frustrations of the future and his ultimate reason for staying in the past.
Bart loves the family that took him in when he arrived in New York all those years go but he’d really like to connect with his real family. It something hes been tip toeing around doing because of how soon he came to the past, no one haad heard of the Flash yet. Now that he’s here he’s interested in connecting to his family and the people close to them.
