Rector has fantasized about being invited to do a Ted Talk for a decade. If you asked him 10 years ago he would have titled his mock speech as “how transmutation can change the world”, but he’s very sure his current vision is more provocative .
Vireo’s “unimportant” opinion isn’t frivolous, but she is actually quite scared of dogs and too embarrassed to frame her fear as anything but petty annoyance
Debbie also calls Cheeseburgers “Hamburgers with cheese”

Headcanons you sent
@rhubarbss She grew up in a small fishing community, she didn’t grow up on a farm but she did deff help around with various odd jobs including nearby farms.
Pierce has a very…utilitarian view in animals. I could see in some alternate universe Pierce being really into cattle or horses, but as is Asterion and Pegifer are enough to deal with heh.
In the future she and Debbie end up with chickens.
@apbeezah Pierce could chew on a coin like a piece of bubblegum
@apologeticsmartass Rector would 100% undeniably be really into crypto/NFT stuff
I don’t think he would intentionally plan a rug pull from the starts but if for whatever reason his project wasn’t working or got really pissed one day and just ends up making the slip.

Debbie’s Ex-lover, Rector S. Adim.
To most,  Rector seems to just be some sleazy guy pretending to be an Alchemist to sell people stuff. In reality he's a highly skilled alchemist who also happens to also be a sleazy guy trying to people stuff.
Originally dabbling in the art out of curiosity, Rector managed to successfully take the Prima materia (himself) and enact the Great Work (turn his flesh into a Philosopher’s stone). He was hoping for it to act as a Panacea, but it turns out it    only “cures” by killing anything it touches. With the dematerialized dust of what he destroys he can concentrate it to create specs of gold at least. Rector met Debbie while she was applying for a job at his store, and became deeply enamoured with the Gorgon. Originally just out of economic reasons (selling Gorgon Stone from a gorgon is lucrative and less illegal then selling off market gold from your infinite gold making arm), but the two eventually ended up in a relationship for 5 years.
This relationship was…turbulent to say the least.

Several people asked me if Debbie and Rector are still in contact with each other.
The answer is no.

Some recent question
@dungeonboy2011: I think it’s first important for me to say my Demigods probably have more in common with the modern pop culture understanding of them rather then actual mythology, where the idea of “demigods”/what having divine parentage is like is extremely broad and varied in and has zero “rules” to it. Unlike PJO what “powers” a demigod in Gorgoneion possess  is a total crapshoot  and half the time they are essentially regular people with extra teeth
Minerva (who’s the main god in charge of protecting and guiding demigods)  generally doesnt like Divine heros organizing together. Cynically because she don’t want them to organize and rebel against the gods together, but also to out benefit it prevents them from organizing and exploiting their strength against humans. Minerva thinks they work best when they see themselves as both God and Man, and therefor loyal to both, rather then as belonging to neither and only loyal to their Half god brothers.
@swamp-hag-uwu The sisters never actually met Rector before. Debbie hasn’t uh…spoken with them since she left home when she was 18, and she didn’t leave them on good terms..
They are still aware of Rector since Swine can still sometimes see Debbie with their eye, and don’t care much for him. Rector knows the sisters via what Debbie has told him and made Debbie to quit their archaic and irrational “old school magic” for the rational scientific pursuit of Alchemy.
@rnainframe I’ve heard a few people say they imagine Asterion speaking with an English accent, I get it but also I don’t think he does. If any character had an English accent it would be Vireo.
