I was on such a roll coming up with The Plot for the Adminsniper game I may or may not make I got distracted and accidentally came up with Medic Backstory

Basically he was born into a witch coven but the second he realised he was trans he lost his powers (you have to be a girl or whatever the fuck merasmus has going on to have magic I have decided) and was booted off to boarding school and turned to his at the time second favourite hobby of Committing Bodily Atrocities for something else to do with his life and his mpreg addiction has something to do with him figuring out the science behind only girls being able to use magic.

I like to pretend the candles Laurel used for her summoning ritual in ep8 were the ones Tyler used for his date with Wednesday and they were being reutilised, or even better, that was their original purpose and the date made it all a plausible excuse. Makes the betrayal and heartache even more painful

Game explanation

A Version of TurboTime where instead of racing cars the characters are racing on Jetski’s and to fit the theme the landscape of the game is a summer paradise by the shoreline where the characters can relax and hangout in after the arcade closes.

Not only is there Turbo and the Twins in this game but also two new summer themed racers Sunny and Flora to join them in the competition!

Sunny would be considered the secondary protagonist of the game who has comparable stats to the man himself.

In this version of the game any of the 5 racers can be chosen, not just Turbo like from the base game, this is to ensure people can choose their favourite character and to ensure multiplayer capability.

Each character has their own unique stats and skill sets with Turbo and Sunnys being the best being the protagonists, but it doesn’t mean you can win with anyone else, you’ve just got to try a bit more.

With each character comes with character exclusive skills and abilities which is to encourage players to play the secondary characters, for there to be a reason on why they should be played in the first place.

There are an assortment of maps, upgrades and achievements to unlock playing the game if you are skilled or lucky enough in finding them. This is to ensure that each game is unique from the last, with each player upgrading and choosing to their style so it rarely would get boring for the characters, testing stuff on different maps alongside the player.

Why was developed? (In lore)

The developers wanted to create a motorcycle esque racing arcade cabinet with a summer twist and decided to reutilise an old classic ip of theirs into the modern day for the modern audience, so putting them on the beach with new characters and jetskis just worked!

The arcade

Mr Litwak saw this and decided to give it a go for old times sake and kids like the summer and racing so why not combine them? And who knows maybe it could be as successful as the OG TurboTime?

However the characters in the arcade seeing this are weary and uncertain of this new game, only thinking of the worst and what happened last time, with not only the Roadblasters incident of 1987 but also of what Turbo did in Sugar Rush behind everyone’s noses, especially Vanellope, for 15 years nonetheless.

This would cause most characters to go past it with a 5 metre poll, not wanting to be involved in what would happen if they did. Even when a character or two go inside to have a look and say it’s fine, people are still cautious because “it’s only early days” and continue with their daily routine and spreading rumours about what they see from their cabinets on the game and its characters.

Despite this intermingling, when characters that were in the OG game (Turbo & the Twins) ask what they’re talking about, they act inconspicuous and nonchalant with the twins while being more defensive and hostile with Turbo himself, irritating him to no end especially when he has no clue what is going on having just been plugged in and being seemingly on hated by everyone in the arcade immediately.

With this uncooperative behaviour from many people in the arcade the characters tend to stay in the game itself most of the time and considering they have all the amenities they need in game, this isn’t much of a conundrum. Essentially leaving the game in a world of its own unknown of the main body of the arcade and they intend to keep it that way for the most part, until a certain something happens lore-wise which you will need to stay updated on if you want to find out what!

How/what kind of posts will be done?

For this au I will post either,

- Non story based artworks/doodles of the characters

- Short comic strips of character interactions which I intend to mostly be unrelated to the main story itself, but no promises here

- The AUs main story comics

- Updates/revamps

- Answering questions on the AU

In a few hours time I will start releasing full character designs & descriptions, so look out for that!

Then once that’s all said and done, expect what is on the list to come after, especially the comics, have had many ideas for them!

Now that’s all I can think of from the top of my head for now, so now I think it’s time you saw the basic character designs for this AU!

(Btw if you got this far well done I kinda wrote more than expected and may or may not have created a text wall, whoops! This AU has been on my mind for days and it needed to be seen sooner or later.)

(Fun fact! The idea of this AU is actually from my first WiR/Turbo fixation around this time last year, and it only came back with a roaring passion after being reminded of it having watched a particular 2 hour video everyone knows of *cough cough*, so if you want to see og sketches let me know!)

I have written so much and definitely need some sleep.

It was small, but not cramped, the walls lined with a dark, finely carved wainscotting, a small fireplace with a quaint mantle to the left hand side of the room, a cabinet with a decanter and many other trinkets atop it and a bookshelf, and, of course, a desk in the middle of the room, where the man himself sat, pen in hand.

Chapter 91 had a lot of beautiful descriptions. I particularly liked "

In the flowing stream The wild ducks bob and rise; Among bamboos by the thousand Poets ponder their choice of words. IDK anything about lamp oil, but the idea of cooking with it makes me think of kerosene, and that is NOT very tempting. After 14 years, I'm not sure I would even be that worried about getting eaten. I would trust Wukong to save me =^)

This is a lamp from the Tang Dynasty, you put oil on it and a paper and set the paper on fire, that's how I think it works, so the oil doesn't differ from the cooking oil, but I guess reutilising it it's unhealthy, just like when you reuse cooking oil a lot, it's "burnt".

I would just chill and think "my dear monkey is going to rescue me in like a day, I'll take a nap meanwhile". And also, he is a favourite of heaven, he can't be eaten as long as Guanyin exists.

Sure! I don't talk about KHR often enough, so thank you for this ask^^

My favourite character is Chrome! I also like Mukuro and the entire Kokuyo Gang (except Birds and Gigi and Didi...) a lot, and, of course, all of Tsuna's famiglia <3 But, honestly, I have every character so dear (except a few... like the aforementioned ones and Levi, cough). Her writing isn't perfect, but I just like the way Amano writes the majority of her characters and handles character groups. (It feels wrong to me to say "I like Tsuna" without adding that I like his entire famiglia too; KHR groups are all package deals to me.)

I like her as a character too, but Uni's design is also super pretty to me which boosts her into favouritehood (?) XD (Same for Luce as they look the same.)

Also, WotQ reached 9669 hits a while ago, and I was very glad that I caught it for a screenhot^^

My favourite arc is the Inheritance Ceremony Arc! I really like reincarnation/generational repeat/parallel stuff (which shows up in all of Amano's major works which makes me happy), so I was always particularly interested in the first generation and getting more about them in an actual manga arc was super interesting to me! (I enjoyed the anime's Primo Family Arc, but these filler arcs were so odd and weirdly inserted to me >.<...) I also just like the Pride Battles and the Simon Famiglia.

I've been rereading the manga veeeery slowly in German by getting the volumes from the library (it's been out of print for ages orz). I started the series in German when I was little but never completed it in German (and it's nice reading an official translation for once; and it's a fun translation too!). Anyway, I recently finished my reread of the Inheritance Arc, and between that and my rewatch of Aldnoah.Zero... I suddenly realised that I might also like it when people become villains after losing their significant other?

I think my second favourite is the Curse of the Rainbow Arc (i.a. because it includes my favourite chapters, 382-384^^). Beyond that, it's all crinkly because it's like picking favourite children^^' I love all arcs.

The Daily Life Arc is so fun, and I'm so happy KHR was published at a time that an arc like that was acceptable. KHR is just extra fun because it started out as a comedy manga and never abandoned its roots after the shift. (The Future Arc being just the chef's kiss example of the reutilisation of stuff from the comedy era <3)

11. Do you believe in the old advice to “kill your darlings?” Are you a ruthless darling assassin? What happens to the darlings you murder? Do you have a darling graveyard? Do you grieve?

I DO because I really get too wordy so I always have to make a final pass removing about 20% of my total word count. However. I am very bad at it. Which is why I work best with a third party killer editor shooting my darlings on sight.

Some fragments end up in a separate doc, VERY FEW actually get reutilised. I felt like a superhero the other day because someone was like. "Elle this dream sequence is kinda useless" and I very bravely deleted it. But I was able to copypaste the coolest bit of the dream sequence into something else later on and it fit SO much better in there. What an achievement!

24. How much prep work do you put into your stories? What does that look like for you? Do you enjoy this part or do you just want to get on with it?

I really enjoy plotting out something, even if it's just barebones (character + hook, or emotional beats I want to hit). It's very good for having an ending in sight and giving me a clear idea of what I'm working towards

Looking at the 2024 OICA statistics, we can definitely say Western automakers are done for.

This also means Obama era automaker bailouts, much like Trump 1 era oil bailouts, were largely a failure.

Much like the coal industry fights, there will be a lot of disinformation about this. However, China has clearly won, and they are not even the biggest issue right now. ASEAN countries, and India will be much bigger issues.

This is likely going to be the next big manufacturing talking point, but other manufacturing industries will collapse soon.

This also means the Midwest is basically done for Democrats. It will be better to focus on solar energy, or reutilise the car factories for better uses.

Session 10.2

Social Media Post First Attempts

tried to dive right into but wasn't very successful

attempted to use a new font, typewriter-esque? but I think I was doing that just because I was influenced by others' work and like how it looked in theirs

used the LùLù logo typeface as a header font, not happy with it I think its a bit unnecessary to use it outside the logo

also the 'tiles' of the typeface conflict with the border tiles and it makes it quite confusing

wanted to reutilise the stamp concept of the logo, I don't think the header / biggest element is the way to use it – maybe a smaller bit of text?

not loving the centre alignment (tbh no reason I chose it, just wanted to throw something at the wall)
