Takeaway Collateral Thoughts

thinking about a combination of stamp and sticker to brand the takeaway collateral, with some kind of indication of the food contents possibly handwritten? also including a takeaway cutlery set with fork / spoon / chopsticks with some branded binding.

maybe a sleeve situation but i think that might be too much and unnecessary.

thinking about yoinking a couple of extra takeaway boxes from Newsfeed for that taller salad box variation

Also... if Bumblebee somehow (and I mean this purely hypothetical) wasn't planned from the start and came about after Volume 5 as they allege, well, it fits like a damn fine glove.

After all, some elements of a story come about even when you're finalizing an absolute final draft. Like... has nobody heard about the story of Neo being introduced into Volume 2 just before the White Fang Rally was posted online? Imagine how different Volume Nine might've been without Neo.

If Bumblebee was a Neo type situation, they already laid the groundwork with Blake and Yang's friendship. Yang pleading Blake to believe she didn't maim Mercury. Yang charging in to stop Adam from hurting Blake and losing an arm. Yang very much being upset over Blake leaving and opening up to Weiss about it.

Even if they were meant to be initially "just good friends," that still lent itself as good set up for a romance to bloom. i've often found myself finalizing a story and seeing two characters hit it off in my eyes, convincing me that there's something more worth exploring.

That it wasn't there from the beginning doesn't make it inherently bad or worse.

Hell, most Manga is written by the seat of an author's pants. Even those with a solid road map of a narrative will often go, "Oh wait... what if... I added in this or that." Inspiration strikes anytime and anywhere.

Sorry to go off like that but the fact is that the creative process is a lot more complicated than how the RWDE likes to think it.

Summer movie fits broke me uum Heres some hoeru and sumino outfit ideas. I'm crying like i cant give this show a 10/10 because of the styling...what are we doing. the guys in the hoeru moodboard are makoto from iwgp and ryuji from tiger and dragon. check them out!!! Fun shows. Tried balancing out sumino's fit because theyre so....lacking, ok that's all

Session 10.3

Stamp Carving

Firstly took a photo of the napkin and used illustrator to figure out the scale and positioning of the stamp, ended up liking the bottom left variation the most

Drew it directly onto the napkin for the real scale sizing, and then reverse engineered the measurements of the lino stamp. Also worked in the corner border edges for easier alignment, hopefully it works out

My first attempt, ended up way wonkier than I was expecting I thought I was doing pretty well haha. Had a perfect amount of space to try again on the same cut of lino, so went in for a second attempt

I think I did a bit better second try, tried to be much more careful and conservative cutting into the tiles. We will see when I ink the stamps tomorrow :)
