Jokes aside I do really like your drawings of the RID 2015 characters, hope to see more (but don't rush yourself sorry if it seems like I'm putting pressure on you, I'm not trying to).

There’s no one else like you, only the possibility of people being like you but choosing not to, as while the teams are still alive, a few members are not, and they chose not to fix that.

Same thing happened to the Stunticons, Deadend and Wildrider dying in battle, and Breakdown leaving not long after, but Menasor is such a core part of the Stunticons they couldn’t rid of him. So a new team was formed with Wildbreak, Slashmark, and Heatseeker. Though Menasor is mainly used as a threat rather than a regular occurrence

Here's my idea for the old/new stunters main slug. So:

Minotaur: Rammstone because of the horns and strength. Also due to the fact when he was younger he had a Rammstone, it helped him manage to survive the streets that the Shane had failed to manage.

Drag: Slicksilver. This is a reference due to the magnet device Dragstrip gets in RID 2015, but it also works because Dragstrip wants a slug that'll easily wipe the floor with his opponents to prove his strength.

Brandon: I think Forgesmelter. It matches his more destructive style and when he was younger he found it cute. It also relates to Kindle and a reference to Breakdown's canon in Tfp.

Kindle: Flaringo. Kindle likes the beauty and destruction of fire, hence his name. But he also likes its quick yet smooth movements it performs.

End: Frightgeist. Due to the calm death thoughts and craves and his Frightgeist would have cute moments of pranking him and trying to scare him.

Wilder: As I mentioned before, Grenukers because they fit his destructive behaviour and because 'Explosives are always necessary' is his motto.

Slasher: A Thresher. It's more so a reference to Slashmarks spinning wheels but also because they can be quick yet powerful with a hint of elegance.

Moulton: Blastipede. This represents his lover for explosions and fire but also a reference to Heatseeker's heat-seeking missiles. He loves the long distance range yet large damage it can do with one pull of a trigger.

And W.B.: A Slyren. A reference to Wildbreak's shockwaves but also it works since it also can instead put his opponents asleep, rather than injure them. It also helps with his bad dreams (not really nightmares) since Slyrens help with rest.

But yeah, those are the stunters main slugs that I might mention their relationships whether asked or not later. Hope you find these interesting :)

Usually when members from the og lineup are not put/replaced in the group is because of trademark reasons and what tends to happen is that they bring in new/preexisting trademarks for that character. But the thing is is that the character being replaced won’t really exist in that continuity in the first place so I wouldn’t really consider that as them switching the line up?.? Unless of course it’s stated or shown as so. Maybe that’s where you’re getting confused?

Like the stunticons in the 2015 RID cartoon the team consists of the original members motormaster and dragstrip but characters Heatseeker, Wildbreak, and Slashmark were brought in. Although breakdown existed in the aligned continuity it wasn’t as if he was a combiner at all. Which is another thing. Say dead end is replaced in his gestalt, both him and his replacement can both exist but dead end himself probably isn’t a combiner/stunticon. Though this only really happens if there are trademark issues and combiners don’t really show up much as a whole. And when they do it’s more or less going to be the original lineup.

Or it could be like rook where they add more members at random. Because rook existed as a whatever character before hasbro or whoever was in charge wanted more protectobots and it more just stuck. Unlike the g1 combiner lineups where they’re made to be combiners, the additional/different members are probably more like hasbro needing to use their trademarks of obscure characters and slapping them into gestalts. So yeah rook is an additional member but it’s like getting a new student in a class where you’ve known everybody since elementary.hes like a reallly new addition.

Ok wait, no, I need to find this out and I don't know enough #lore about every robot BUT I NEED TO SEE IF A HUNCH I HAVE IS TRACKING IN CANON

With Combiners... how many of them actually CANONICALLY end up with an Amica or Conjunx?????

Like??????? PLEASE Transformers fandom, people with the combiner wisdom, are combiners actually engaging in relationships outside the gestalt and if they ARE what kind of combiners are they? (example: scramble style where a bunch of randos can swap in at any time or closed like Bruticus where they're locked in with those 5 etc)

1) I near had a fucking heart attack when Dragstrip’s head was grabbed roughly like that. MTMTE has left me very on edge. 2) Motormaster on his own is the size of TWO of the Stunticons combined. And two of the larger ones at that. Blessed size difference tbh.

Yes Slashmark is one of the Menasor replacement components I just think it would be funny is Slashmark was Wildbreak older brother.

Tbh I never forgave RiD for replacing Wildrider and Dead End with some randos nobody knows or cares about. Wildbreak taking his mom's place was kinda cute, definitely bittersweet, but the other two? F

Hey so you really like combiners, but whats ur take on the RID15 stunticons?

(ok not really but I have a lot of issues so it’s a lengthy thing behind the cut) Also probably some minor spoilers for season 3.

Their potential is pretty much wasted and the whole combiner thing is pretty much extra toyetic beeshit but frankly from what I’ve seen that’s an issue with RiD as a whole rather than the Stunticons specifically.

I’ve never been fond of replacing combiner team members but in this it at least makes sense, however visually the Stunticons are rather boring recolours of each other, (which might be more understandable from toy manufacturing standpoint but still) and I keep struggling to visually differentiate between Heatseeker, Slashmark and even Heatmark (though again this is an issue with RiD as a whole which is bit baffling since colours should be the easiest thing to create differences) and though it makes Menasor look more coherent, I still would have preferred the hilarious mish-mash of parts/colours a’la G1 since it would actually fit storywise what with the changing team members and all (if TFwiki is to be trusted). Also their proportions are really.. frustrating from art standpoint goddamn them compensation pauldrons.

As characters I like them individually quite a bit actually but storywise they aren’t really cohesive as they’re kinda retro-actively-ish informed to be much bigger threat than they ever manage to be, their actions don’t enforce the info given and they end up acting like the common one thought pony Con of the Week with the whole borderline delusional “we must conquer all the roads of Earth” non-plan. I mean I could go that the four Stunticons wouldn’t question that plan but you can’t tell me that Motormaster, who has been established to DESTROY A SOLAR SYSTEM WITH MENASOR, and has been at this for probably millions of years would really think that a “king of the road” rally-title would be literal??? And that any sort of planetary territory holding is possible with five people even though they also have a spaceship(???) that they just don’t use? (In same vein, how would Dragstrip rise up in the ‘organization’ when it’s just five of them, who would he even go past in rank? Slashmark?) Same as the inconsistency of Combiner mentalities bothers me since it’s not clear what exactly is being whether a combined robot has a separate personality or is just one robot controlling others, and how would that even work when the limbs are not really aware of what’s happening, but I admittedly haven’t seen all of RiD so it’s possible I’ve missed that. STILL. It’s handwaved pretty hard.

Basically I’d preferred if they had either been allowed to be proper villains (if there’d be someone who’d threathen to reveal their existence to humans to demand shit, it’d be these guys) OR they’d just been common throwaway villains without the combining thing, which is how they were written so it’s possible the combiner thing was had to be added on top of it because corporate. Honestly I also have more issued with Ultra Bee because it really farts out on a lot of teambuilding plot possibilities (not that any of that would stick in the next episode) and the coolness factor of a combiner drops when rather than being bunch of small bots against a large enemy its two same sized bots doing fisticuffs… Since RiD won’t even let them fight anywhere interesting, which is why Stunticons blowing their cover so they end up having a combiner fight in a city would have been really neat but alas.

OK THIS HAS BEEN REALLY NEGATIVE but I really like Menasor and his tics, Motormaster’s ass made out of tires (keeping that Cliffjumper legacy alive, thank you), Heatseeker’s car mode bellyflops, the fact that Dragstrip has some personal goals, and a lot more, but just regret the creators couldn’t do what they probably set out or wanted to fully do with the Stunticons. Also the potential on filling up the times pre-Prime up to RiD is like… sooo good, we’ve been talking about it with a friend and if I just had the capacities I’d so make a long comic about that. You will more than likely end up seeing more than few of my headcanons regarding the RiD Stunts eventually.

Getting Rid of Rats

I've always check my server status, like, webserver logs periodically. Just realized that there are a bunch of unusual logs on my nginx server. A GET request that links to another domain, with a bunch of random IPs (I think links are mostly chinese domain). Here's the screenshoot of the log See that, I've marked the valid requests started with slashmark ("/") with yellow marking. Otherwise, It's unusual requests. Been searching on google, some said it was someone bruteforcing server to look for some open proxy or whatsoever. Although their User-Agents look legit enough, sometimes. It shouldn't come from usual Web Browsers. Tried some blocking using UFW, but rats still occur. Blacklisting IPs via Cloudflare also doesn't work. I did some fix to stop these rats though. First thing first, you may ask why I redirect the port 80 to https using HTTP Code 302 (URL Redirection) instead of 301 (Moved Permanently). I did use 301 before, but cloudflare won't let me use their Crypto options and made an infinite loop to users. Changed to 302, both server and cloudflare encryption works! (And why would you redirect port 80 to 443, or http to https?) Well, you know, secure. Fix : I commented nginx config lines which serve my web page via http (not HTTPSecure). It does some callback though... some may can't access the server if user don't include https:// on their web browsers. But luckily, cloudflare serves me well about this (hopefully). Still not sure if it's fully fixed though. Because it's only a dirty fix.

Motormaster and Drag Strip being the only original Stunticons left and well, one thing led to another, and Drag Strip got the boss sparked. Twice.
