▪▪▪ { ❛ leave out no detail, savour every part —
sunyoung wasn't expecting to be as interested as she was in this lyric writing workshop as much as she was currently. writing lyrics was more than just a couple of rhyming words, metaphors, and showing off your vocabulary on a piece of paper -- people used lyrics as an outlet, a way to tell their stories, experiences, dreams; it was, essentially, a small portion of one's inner most thoughts if they so chose to take it that way. and once the people involved in the workshop split into groups after hours deliberation of what to showcase as their lyrics, she realizes that not everyone has the same appreciation for the class as she did. ( sunyoung is so tempted to scowl at the guy who thought it was okay to write a 'rap' purely about butts and what to do with them, but finds it hard to keep a straight face after he passionately spits pun after pun on the subject. ) there are some in the small group whom she doesn't really care for all that much -- they were good, but nothing exactly special. but there was one who seemed to kick start her interest again as soon as he recites his first line. it's hard to explain what exactly she likes about his lyrics, but even before she has time to fancy the idea to tell the boy that she likes his song he's cut off, the instructor telling everyone to go to the next person. a sigh escapes through her lips softly as her expression feigns interest in what the next person in there group is saying.
eventually the workshop ends with about ten minutes to spare, sunyoung thinks as her fingers work to push messy brunette and blonde tresses into a ponytail. tired eyes peer around the room to see that some have begun to trail out of the room in order to go do other things around the resort before curfew, and others are just lounging about the room, mindlessly chit-chatting with one another. it's then that she spots jongup, ( that's his name, right? ) the boy with the interesting lyrics that ended way too soon; and before she knows it her feet are leading her in his direction in hopes that maybe, just maybe, he could finish telling his song to her somehow. "jong...up?" sunyoung starts, easing her was up to the boy cautiously, just in case that wasn't his name, "yo, i uh... i really liked your song back there -- personally, i thought it was the best one in the group!" her features are bright as her lips curl into a grin, hoping that it will add on to the sincerity of her words. manicured fingernails are digging into the soft cotton of the edge of her shirt, playing with the hem as she continued, "i was wondering... could i listen all of the lyrics -- like the full song, maybe? i mean, it's cool if you don't want to share it, i understand, but i just thought it was really cool and stuff so i hoped i could listen to it in full..."

starting point // jungkook and hwayoung
When one mentions camp, what automatically pops into Jungkook's mind is a campfire, s'mores, ghost stories, nature, stargazing-- just pure relaxation. But when he signed up for the training camp sponsored by TRC and Royal Ent., he knew it wasn't even close to it being like that.
Stepping out of the bus, he takes in a deep breath. "Okay. Here we are. You have to take this seriously, alright? No time for fooling around." he thought to himself. With both hands on the strap of his backpack, he looks around and starts to get nervous. Everyone in this camp had the same dream he had-- but who would actually make it? Of course he wanted to; and by being surrounded by people with the same thing in their minds only strengthened his desire even more.
He walked around, hoping to spot someone he knows. He had signed up at the last minute and he was quite sure that some of his friends would have taken the opportunity like he had. But when he spots a familiar figure in the sea of strangers, he couldn't help but hide his shock. His lips form a sly smile as he grabs his phone from his back pocket--

we're camping
siyoung sat slouching in his chair. sitting in class like this was never his thing. especially sitting in a spot and listen to someone lecture on and on about someone he didn't want to hear. that was the main reason why he always ditch class. taking off his snapback the male ran his fingers through his hair before putting the cap back on backwards. looking over to his side, he took a moment to check out the girl next to him before turning his attention back to the front. what did i sign myself up for? he sigh heavily. if he hadn't taken up this offer to come to this camp, then he could had been performing or even better defending his title. but instead his schedule was clear, so he came to cure his boredom. but the plan backfire- he was still bored. what was worst was that he had no where to run. alright split up into pairs." without much care of trying to find that right partner, he turned his head towards the female next to him.
"want to be pair up?" he asked.
#kaiark#rkrcamp#p;we're camping#/ ` omf - i just use a part of the lyrics for the title#/ ` this was horrible so apologize#/ ` i didn't really know how to do this correctly orz

backseat freestyle
{` rather calloused fingers press nimbly upon the frets of his guitar, a pensive look painting his features. song composition had never been one of ty's strong points but he figures that's what he's at this camp to do: improve. his brows furrow as he continues strumming chords in different orders to test which complement each other best. his teeth clamp at his bottom lip before he begins humming a faint melody along with the guitar. it's as if a light bulb appears, blaring above his head. he looks up from his guitar and to jayce } yo, jay. what do you think about-- {` he pauses mid-sentence as his eyes drift over the notepad jay was supposed to be writing lyric ideas on but instead seemed to be riddled with a doodle } yah! {` snatches up a piece of paper he'd scrapped into a ball earlier and hurls it at jay's forehead, clearly unamused by his expression though he's laughing inside } you're supposed to be writing lyrics! not drawing like a five year old.... am i the only one actually working here? {` scoffs } that's ironic.

do i know you? \ jinki&jinri
{ * before arriving at this camp, jinri had been nervous. it's sponsored by royal and trc -- she'll have to be on her best behavior, because it's likely that the representatives from each company will be looking to sign some new trainees after this camp ends. now, after arriving, getting a chance to get settled in her room, attending a couple workshops explaining the point of the camp, and eating dinner at the resort, she feels a bit more at ease. they've been told to find someone else they've never met before and introduce themselves -- typical for a workshop on the first day, of course -- so jinri walks over to a male she's had her eye on ever since the beginning of the workshop. his face seems vaguely familiar, but she can't place what his name might be, or even where she might have ever seen him before} Hi. { * she begins, coupled with a rather awkward wave} Uh, I'm Jinri. You seem kind of familiar, but I don't think we've ever met before.

Vocal lessons || Jungkook & Narae ;
The drone of the teachers voice was starting to put Narae to sleep. The teacher was explaining how to harmonize with other singers, and how the change of pitch of a note can give a completely different sound. She took vocal classes almost all of her life, and she was honestly very bored. She knew it would be better to pay attention, but it was still morning and reviewing the basics was never fun. A small yawn escaped her lips, when the teacher mentioned partner work. This caused Narae to wake up. She put her arms in front of her and started to stretch as she looked around. She wanted to have a partner in mind, before the teacher actually dismissed them. Narae wanted to work with someone around her own age, so she didn't have to feel like the crazy elder that refuses to grow up. Her eyes scanned the room, and she kept a mental note on who she thought was around her age.
The teacher dismissed the class into groups. The groups were already decided in advanced, and Narae's goal to work with someone who looked to be around her age was foiled. This was a slight annoyance to the girl, but she didn't want to have an ill first impression, so she quickly got over it. She was paired to work with someone named Jungkook. She looked around the room before she saw him, and flashed a big smile. He appeared to be in his teens, and his voice seemed to be more put together than Narae's. "You are Jungkook right? I'm Narae, It's great to talk to you! I hope we work well together." She introduced herself, the smile never leaving her face.

aquaholic ☊ boah & luhan
To say that Luhan was feeling suffocated in such a structured environment was an understatement. While he was well aware that they were trying to prepare the idol hopefuls for the rigorous schedules trainees were put through leading up to their debut, Luhan couldn't help but feel run down by the end of their third day there. He had always been chaotic and spontaneous, which often lead him into trouble, but it kept his life exciting. He couldn't bare to let seconds go by being mundane.
So it really shouldn't have come as as a surprise to anyone that, after lights out, Luhan was instead crawling out of his bed, slipping quietly out of his room, trying not to wake the sleeping strangers he was grouped to room with. He managed to go undetected by two staff members and narrowly avoided a third, but just when he thought he was home free, he spotted a familiar face just down the hall. Luckily, she was someone he didn't think would mind his escape, but seemed to be orchestrating an escape of her own.
Never one to be subtle and always one to be a little bit of an asshole, Luhan slipped once more into the shadows and made his footsteps as quiet as possible while approaching before greeting her with a relatively loud voice for the quiet hallway. "Lăoshī, what are you doing?"

What the hell? This really isn't my body. || Hwayoung and Jungkook
Hwayoung opened the door which had a paper with “ACTING CLASS” taped on it and entered the room. She scanned the room, looking for a spot where she could sit. The room was filled with about thirty to forty people; all grouped up and was sitting on the floor actively chatting with each other. She sighed. She felt left out because she was alone. It appeared that the class hasn’t started yet since she wasn’t able to see a teacher in front- or anywhere for that matter. She then saw a hand shoot up to wave at her, and found out that the hand belonged to none other than Jungkook. She headed towards him and sat next to him.
Right after she sat though a girl with dishevelled hair slammed the door open. She was clearly crying as she yelled “The rooms are on fire!” She was panicking and was rambling about how the rooms next to theirs were on fire and that Hwayoung and the others would die if they didn’t leave immediately. Hwayoung quickly stood up as the others started screaming and panicking as well. She could hear people saying things like “I’m gonna die!” “Goodbye world” and others on that same context. People started heading for the exit at the same time, making it difficult for them to actually leave. She even saw Jungkook looking scared but then she heard laughter. She looked for the source of said laughter and saw that it was the same girl who had entered that was laughing. Soon everyone has stopped to look at the girl who looked at them innocently. “And that class is how you cause a stampede without actually doing anything. Good morning, I am Miss Kim and I will be teaching you acting.”

free yourself // jungkook + irene
Jungkook had always described dance as an art. And to master it, you didn’t need much practice, but you had to let yourself go. Sure, many people knew how to dance, but only a few were good dancers. But what distinguishes a dancer from a dancer? Well for Jungkook, a dancer was someone who could dance to the beat and memorize a choreography well. A dancer was someone fully immersed in the dance, letting the music flow through his body and letting it take over.
He hunches his back and sits down against the wall as he gulps down some water and wipes his forehead. The instructor had thought the class the basics and a simple choreography, giving them the free time to do whatever they want. It was as if their instructor saw dance the way he did and well… it was dance! How could you teach someone to be a good dancer? You just had to… do it!

anywhere but here
curing boredom. my ass. what a lie. siyoung had no intention of really coming on this camping trip. he didn't care about royal or trc. he has no intention of becoming a mainstream artist. siyoung underground career was doing well. he enjoys it and the people there are the type of people that he is fond of. pushing his hands deep into the front of his pocket, the male exit his room. his destination, was undefined.
everyone at the camp had this annoying happy face. it was understandable why they seem to be so happy, because if he was in their shoes, he would had looked the same, but he's not. siyoung was alone on this trip, a lot of the people he knows are either trainee, solely underground artist or a little too old to even try to debut as an idol. thus making him lonely for the week ( or however long this trip is ). in the distance siyoung notice an odd female, someone who didn't seem so jolly like him. walking over to her he lend on the side of the wall. "seems like someone isn't happy to be here." he chuckles.

1, 2, step
{` — a few basic eight counts and simple variations to start with had made the dance workshop seem easy. it wasn't until the choreography for the routine that the confidence level in the room gradually and steadily fell. he had difficulty himself, not catching the last set until he watches the others around him, picking up the lost pieces within a few minutes. while looking around, he notices a female nearby him struggling in a similar way to him. expression doe-eyed and lost as she attempted the dance. approaching her with a harmless grin, Rome holds his hand out for a wave to grab her attention } Hey. Since it's a pairs dance, you wanna try together?

Of All People || Myungsoo & Yubin
{ /a foreboding dampens Myungsoo’s disposition as he steps into the lobby of the resort. by now he’s already realized that this camp is not the same thing Byunghun had attended, and it’s the biggest disappointment he’s going to carry with him the whole week. the awareness that he can’t back out anymore even worsens it, but he hopes things could still be looking up as his time at the resort wears out. } – { /just as he muses such wishful thinking in his mind, a voice rings on the walls of the hall through built-in speakers telling everyone to pair up and engage in a conversation. Myungsoo’s expression is painted with a NO in bold letters – seeing as he had little to no ability to appear amicable, but it only takes a tilt of his head to see a face he in no way expected to see around. } Well, talk about coincidence… { /there is no bite of sarcasm in his words, but his tone is still clouded with an air of awkwardness as she darts her gaze towards him. }

rap lessons||nyy&byg
there always room for improvement in yongguk's opinion. his obsession for perfection was probably getting a bit out of hand lately but he didn't mind. the fact this camp had a curfew time was pretty helpful. he'd probably be more tired if they didn't, due to his tendency to pull all nighters.
anyways, the male was kinda grateful that this place held rap lessons, though he had experience and learned some things from the more well-known rappers he was around and worked with; it would probably be better to learn in a more professional manner, instead of just picking up some tips here and there.
in this workshop, they were offered to either go solo or partner up with someone for a performance. yongguk wanting to do more of collaboration to show he can work well with other voices, decided to go with the partner option. looking to the random stranger next to him, he gave her a warm smile. "you wanna be partners?"

Instrument lessons || Soojung & Narae ;
The sounds of off key instruments and the frustrated huffs and puffs of the students were filling the small room. Narae was currently taking instruments lessons, and she chose to learn with the percussion group. Instruments were set all around the room, and every student chose which type of drum they would prefer to learn for the hours of class time. Narae decided to practice on the drum set, because well, it looked the coolest. Her decision wasn't the smartest one, but she was stuck here for the next couple of hours, so she might as well make the best of it. Picking up a drum stick, Narae hit the snare, and the sound was loud and off, and nothing like how she expected a drum kit to sound like. She continued like this for the next few minutes, hitting random pieces of the drum and expecting it all to come together some how. She was starting to get really irritated, none of this was making sense and the teachers words from before all went in one ear and out the other.
Narae huffed out in frustration, she wanted to leave and maybe wander around the camp for the rest of this lesson, before she noticed the classroom was a little quieter than before. She thought maybe a student had left and she was about to take her leave as well, before she noticed a girl looking quite flustered on the other side of the classroom. Narae got up, and started to walk towards the girl. She recognized the girl as Soojung, she was younger than Narae, but honestly Narae would do anything to not play the drums. She finally appeared near the girl, and with words laced with sincerity she asked, "Hey! How are you enjoying the lesson so far? I hope everything is going well for you!"
