I took this photo during the Roskilde Festival 2019; maybe it isn't the right time to share it; I kept this photo to share it during the Roskilde Festival 2020, and because I Corona Virus, the fantastic festival cancelled for the first time after 50 years. I decided to take some documentary photos of this festival with an analog camera; it was the beginning of my film photography. Today I saw a photo of Robert Capa, one of the great classic photographers, on the internet, and I noticed I printed this photo and put it on my mirror many months ago to be inspired. I share his photo in this post; the photo was taken 70 years ago, and maybe mine is not very similar, and I don't want to compare myself with big names as well; I was thinking maybe in 70 years later people they look at my photo and talk about it. I know between millions of photos that are taken every day, I won't have any chance to be seen, but this thought was interesting, and I couldn't stop myself from sharing this photo. 📸 canontx 🎞️ kodakgold200 🗓️ 2019.06.19 📍roskildefestival robertcapa

Posted @withrepost • @fotografie_della_storia “Una coppia bellissima, due persone votate l’una all’altra, due persone innamorate”. Non stiamo parlando di due attori, ma di due fotografi e non due fotografi qualunque. Lui è Robert Capa, “il più grande fotografo di guerra di tutti i tempi”, mentre lei è Gerda Taro, la sua musa, discepola e amante. Il loro sorriso complice venne qui colto da un collega, Fred Stein, durante un caffè a Parigi nel 1935. Lui continua i suoi reportage ad alto rischio fino al 1954, in Indocina, quando salterà in aria su una mina. Due anni dopo questa foto, Gerda morirà nella più tragica delle maniere (sventrata da un carro armato) a soli 26 anni preoccupandosi delle sue macchine fotografiche mentre si tiene le viscere con la sola pressione delle mani e divenendo la prima donna fotoreporter a morire sul campo. Il suo corpo fu accompagnato da 200 000 persone a Parigi con tutti gli onori. Pablo Neruda e Luis Oragon lessero un elogio "in memoriam". La sua tomba è nella zona di Pere Lachaise dedicata ai rivoluzionari e alla Resistenza.
