the inspiration for this one started with a medieval headdress in a movie. i thought the shape was interesting, and might work well for a robot. as i was sculpting, i ended up also using the shapes of a corset & puffy sleeves for the body.

she is printed in a translucent filament for an ethereal vibe, and the only paints i used were white and chrome. the filigree patterns are stickers i cut up, combined, and glued onto the body.

A new adopt! Fabricated Divinity, now named Cecilia and taken by @plaguecleric ! I was feeling the need to do the world's most haunted doll and. Well. My hand certainly slipped into a lot of frilly lace-- I hope you'll like her, she was a delight to draw >:)

guys i thought this would take me a week

i started this like. a couple hours ago

its hard to see in the photo but she is *very* glittery so shes done and im not painting her bc itd be hell tryin to make sure the paint doesnt chip on any of the itty bitty little parts

you also cant really see bc my hands covering it but her tail is a cable :)

anyway i have *so* much sparkly grey clay that i dont know what to do with so i might be making more ball jointed dolls this week :3

So I got the 1/6 scale Antu anniversary doll, which is incredibly charming on its own, and after handling so many 1/12 scale dolls at this point I kept being struck by her sheer size as well as how detailed her clothes are lmao

BUT

the real reason I got her is because... I've been wanting a 1/6 scale beast body for AGES ever since I first started doll collecting, specifically for a particular hybrid I've been envisioning :3c

The at.tv overalls are oversized but since this cat.tv is a dupe, I may go ahead and take them in a bit. I'd want to make a better undersuit to protect her from staining (this is just the base dress of the Antu outfit with the skirt tucked in lmao)

The final look for now uses the dress from the white cat.tv, which is also a bit oversized but the Antu apron cinches it nicely at the waist, and I like that the pops of red from that and the stockings are such a perfect match for the head. This has definitely put me back in the mood to start shopping for 1/6 scale clothes again..... very dangerous 👀💦

a robot girl roundup, just for fun. features my original sculpts, monster high customs, and kitbashes. also features the fact i don't really own any props that go with robots, so it is Ring Lights Or Nothing. might have to invest in some scifi props, because i'm definitely going to keep making robots.
