How to Clean Cartridge and Sand Pool Filters In Perth?
Keeping your pool's water clean is mandatory and your ethical responsibility as well. This can be assured quickly by using high-quality pool filters in Perth. Another responsibility is keeping the pool filter clean because only a clean pool filter will generate crystal clear and clean water. This blog post focuses on the importance of keeping pool filters clean, and then we will also learn some steps to clean a pool filter.
Tumblr media
Why It Is Necessary To Keep The Pool Filter Clean?
Experts of pool filters services say that the average life of a filter is around two years, depending on how it is used and how much maintenance is offered. Several factors contribute to decreasing the lifespan of these pool filters, and some can trim this life to almost half. Keeping pool filters clean means cutting the amount of debris and dirt in a swimming pool and making it more pleasurable and ideal for swimming.
Tumblr media
How To Clean Pool Filters In Perth?
Cleaning pool filters involve different steps used for different types of pools. Let us understand the method of cleaning cartridge pool filters.
How To Clean Your Cartridge Pool Filter?
Vendors of pool service in Perth say that cartridge-based pool filters are the easiest to clean and maintain. The reason is they require deep cleaning just once or twice every year. However, if the pool is large and the pool filter is used more than usual, more maintenance would be required.
Experts perform this by turning 'off' the pool pumps in Perth and the air relief valve. This will remove all the trapped air, and then they release the mechanism holding everything together. They remove the top filter and set the cartridge aside to clean easily using a garden hose or a cleaner. Alternatively, let it soak overnight using a cleaning mixture and then rinse properly before fitting it back.
Tumblr media
How To Clean Your Sand Filter?
Experts of pool filter services consider cleaning sand filters as the most formidable challenge, as they require backwashing or cleaning using very light chemicals. The first warning sign of your sand filter requiring cleaning is the increasing PSI of your pool. Similarly, if the water has started looking a bit cloudy, you must understand that your pool filters in Perth require some cleaning.
Experts of pool filter services will need a hose and a cleaning agent to start backwashing to remove all the debris. Before starting, they will turn the pump off and the valve towards the filter. They then turn the pump back 'on' for a few seconds to ensure that the cleaner reaches the filter area. Once the cleaner has achieved its destination, the pump is turned 'off' and left overnight.
This is followed by repeating backwashing again to remove all the debris and dirt. Once it is confirmed that the sand-based pool filters in Perth are completely cleaned, they will turn the system back 'on' and make it clean your pool again.

SpaceTime -- A brief history
SpaceTime is Australia’s most popular and respected astronomy and space science news program – averaging over two million downloads every year. We’re also number five in the United States.  The show reports on the latest stories and discoveries making news in astronomy, space flight, and science.  SpaceTime features weekly interviews with leading Australian scientists about their research.  The show began life in 1995 as ‘StarStuff’ on the Australian Broadcasting Corporation’s (ABC) NewsRadio network.  Award winning investigative reporter Stuart Gary created the program during more than fifteen years as NewsRadio’s evening anchor and Science Editor.  Gary’s always loved science. He was the dorky school kid who spent his weekends at the Australian Museum. Gary studied astronomy at university and was invited to undertake a PHD in astrophysics, but instead focused on a career in journalism and radio broadcasting. His radio career stretches back some 34 years including 26 at the ABC. Gary’s first gigs were spent as an announcer and music DJ in commercial radio, before becoming a journalist, and eventually joining ABC News and Current Affairs. He was part of the team that set up ABC NewsRadio and became one of its first on air presenters. When asked to put his science background to use, Gary was appointed Science Editor and quickly developed the StarStuff Astronomy shgw, which he wrote, produced, and hosted. The program proved extremely popular, consistently achieving 9 per cent of the national Australian radio audience -- based on the ABC’s Nielsen ratings survey figures for the five major Australian metro markets: Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide, and Perth. That compares to the ABC’s overall radio listenership of 5.6 per cent. The StarStuff podcast was published on line by ABC Science -- achieving over 1.3 million downloads annually.  However, after some 20 years, the show finally wrapped up in December 2015 following ABC funding cuts, and a redirection of available finances to increase sports and horse racing coverage.  Rather than continue with the ABC, Gary resigned so that he could keep the show going independently.  StarStuff was rebranded as “SpaceTime”, with the first episode broadcast in February 2016.  Over the years, SpaceTime has grown, more than doubling its former ABC audience numbers and expanding to include new segments such as the Science Report -- which provides a wrap of general science news, weekly skeptical science features, special reports looking at the latest computer and technology news, and Skywatch – which provides a monthly guide to the night skies. The show is published three times a week (every Monday, Wednesday and Friday) and it’s available from the United States National Science Foundation on Science Zone Radio, and through both i-heart Radio and Tune-In Radio.

Noticed that you take socialist banners as inspiration on your art and that made me curious about your political views, Are you a socialist or Marxist? Os just kinda left leaning?
I really enjoy your blog btw
I’m glad you’re into what I do! I appreciate the very direct question so I’ll try to give a very direct answer.
I would consider myself an anarcho-communist. At least, that’s the kind of society I’d like to live in. I genuinely believe the abolition of private property, states, and hierarchies is a real (if very difficult) possibility and is in the best interest of the vast majority of people. That said, I’m an anticapitalist and a socialist first and I’m broadly (if critically) supportive of most movements that have had any success fending off capital. I’m not so naïve that I ignore the real historical failures of anarchism to create alternatives to capitalism on the scale of the USSR,PRC, Cuba, etc.
My politics are still evolving and I only really became radicalized in the last couple years. But anarchism still makes the most sense to me.
That’s what I’ll say for now. I try to be transparent about the things I believe but also I’m literally a guy who draws robots on the internet. Nobody who follows this blog needs me to lecture them on politics lol. If anybody reading this wants more detail about my views you can send me an ask but depending on the question I may not answer it publicly. An email ([email protected]) may be better.
To keep this somewhat relevant to what I normally post about, here’s the New Jersey ancom flag I drew a little while back:
Tumblr media
And some articles about socialist experiments in the Garden State:
-“The Anarchists Who Took the Commuter Train” about the Stelton Colony in what is now Piscataway.
-“Uncle Sam’s House: Anarchy in Piscataway” same topic but more focused specifically on the Goldman House (no, not that Goldman although I believe she visited the colony at some point), one of the last-standing and most distinctive structures from the Stelton Colony. Plus I’ll take any opportunity to plug Weird NJ.
-“Jersey Roots: Looking for Utopia in Colt’s Neck” on the Fourierest North American Phalanx Community.
-“All About the Utopia That Was Once in Perth Amboy, NJ” about the Raritan Bay Union, founded by dissatisfied former members of the North American Phalanx.
Also if anybody has the original newspaper article that talks about Peter Kropotkin visiting Jersey City, please send it my way. I’ve seen it referenced in a few places but I can’t track it down.
Peace,
Logan

I think the the Satellite Music Video is a partial response to Question…? Here’s the timeline:
October 21st, 2022 - Taylor drops Midnights, and Question…? (with its OOTW sample) is track 7.
October 23rd - Harry starts his residency at the Kia Forum in LA, 15 nights between this date and Nov. 15th (including Harrywe’en) before concluding the NA leg of HSLOT and heading to LATAM.
November 2 - Harry begins to look unwell onstage.
November 4 - Harry has to reschedule a concert due to illness. Moves it to the 6th.
November 5,6,7 - concerts all rescheduled due to Harry’s illness.
Before November 15 - concerts are rescheduled for January 26, 27, and 29, 2023. Harry heads to LATAM.
January 26, 27, 29, 2023 - Harry plays rescheduled shows in LA
January 31 and February 1 - Harry plays 2 newly scheduled concerts in Palm Springs (the second on his 29th birthday).
February 5 - Grammy Awards in LA
February 11 - Brits in London
February 20 - Harry starts Australia/New Zealand/Asia leg in Perth, WA, Australia.
The video, which dropped May 3, 2023, starts with footage from a concert at the Forum.
Tumblr media
It took place on January 27th, 2023. But here’s the thing: the earliest anyone knew about this concert (for MV planning purposes) was November 8, 2022. It would not have been possible without Harry’s illness and subsequent rescheduling. That is the very earliest possible date, and it’s 2.5 weeks AFTER Question…?
The video is sweet, sad, and full of Easter eggs. For example, it starts with a Brian Cox voice over talking about how Curiosity rover had spent “10 lonely years” roving the red planet (so January 2013 to January 2023).

Washing Drones Australia – Smart, Safe & Efficient Exterior Cleaning with Yellowfin Robotics
In the evolving world of exterior cleaning, innovation is key. Traditional methods involving scaffolding, lifts, and manual labor are time-consuming, risky, and often expensive. That’s where Washing Drones in Australia come in—redefining how buildings and large structures are cleaned. At Yellowfin Robotics, we’re proud to be at the forefront of this transformation, offering advanced drone washing services for residential, commercial, and industrial clients across Australia.
What Are Washing Drones?
Washing drones are high-tech, unmanned aerial systems equipped with pressure washing systems and precision control technology. These drones are designed to reach high, difficult-to-access areas of buildings and structures, applying water or cleaning agents effectively and safely—without the need for traditional access methods like scaffolding or cherry pickers.
From skyscraper facades to rooftops, solar panels, signage, and glass surfaces, washing drones are making exterior cleaning safer, faster, and more cost-effective than ever before.
Why Use Washing Drones in Australia?
Australia’s diverse climate—from salty coastal air and urban pollution to bush dust and heavy rainfall—means buildings and infrastructure can become dirty and deteriorate quickly. Washing drones offer a smart solution for cleaning high or complex structures across cities like Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, and Perth.
Benefits of using washing drones in Australia:
Safe Cleaning at Height – No need for rope access or scaffolding.
Time-Efficient – Faster setup and operation than traditional methods.
Cost-Effective – Reduce labor and equipment hire costs.
Environmentally Friendly – Precision water control reduces waste.
Minimal Disruption – Clean buildings during business hours with little disturbance.
Yellowfin Robotics: Australia's Trusted Name in Drone Cleaning
At Yellowfin Robotics, we’ve harnessed drone technology to provide safe, scalable, and reliable cleaning services for buildings of all types and sizes. Our washing drones are equipped with high-pressure nozzles, water tanks, and GPS-guided control systems to ensure thorough, streak-free cleaning across various surfaces.
Whether you need to clean a residential high-rise, commercial glass exterior, industrial warehouse, or public infrastructure—our drones deliver consistent and impressive results.
Applications of Drone Washing
Our washing drone services are ideal for a wide range of applications:
🏢 Commercial Buildings
Clean multi-storey office buildings, hotels, and retail facades with ease and without interrupting day-to-day operations.
🏭 Industrial Facilities
Remove grime, dust, oil, and buildup from hard-to-reach exterior surfaces such as silos, tanks, and manufacturing units.
🏙️ Residential Complexes
Keep apartment exteriors, balconies, and glass panels spotless with safe, efficient drone washing.
☀️ Solar Panels & Rooftops
Improve energy efficiency and appearance by removing dirt and debris from rooftops and solar installations.

He studied astronomy at university and was invited to undertake a PHD in astrophysics, but instead focused on his career in journalism and radio broadcasting. Gary’s radio career stretches back some 34 years including 26 at the ABC. He worked as an announcer and music DJ in commercial radio, before becoming a journalist and eventually joining ABC News and Current Affairs. He was part of the team that set up ABC NewsRadio and became one of its first on air presenters. When asked to put his science background to use, Gary developed StarStuff which he wrote, produced and hosted, consistently achieving 9 per cent of the national Australian radio audience based on the ABC’s Nielsen ratings survey figures for the five major Australian metro markets: Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide, and Perth. StarStuff was rebranded as “SpaceTime”, with the first episode being broadcast in February 2016. The show is published three times weekly (every Monday, Wednesday and Friday) and available from the United States National Science Foundation on Science Zone Radio, and through both i-heart Radio and Tune-In Radio.
