the midnight conversations as he builds a body; the pining from the reader (is it actual pining or are you just scraping the edges of desperate self perseverance so he doesn’t trash you like the other models); kind of dream-like transition between adding each body parts (like imagine yourself lying in a tub of ink — cheeks, nose, lips, a slight peel of your forehead visible — and eventually it all drains down as more and more body parts are added);

the first very touch of human flesh upon you; the cracked polystyrene blinks that you give with twitchy eyelashes; you siphon your romantic tendencies between a messy mélange of gritty 18+ hentai and victorian romance novellas; idia pours his damned and tormented soul into making you perfect for him and you pour yourself willingly into the image, designed just for one man <3

Slept on it and I feel a bit better about the SRWY roster even if it still has issues in the old series it choose to bring back minus like 3 and there not being enough new series to make up for it which is sad how the truth of the factor of “this started development in 2022-2023” since they literally could NOT use anything coming out since this same thing happened to arc in 30-it couldn’t even be dlc be planned ahead of time, so no new series will be dlc for this game either even if they didn’t reuse 30 dlc so it might actually be the safest route-and why Gwitch is only season 1, next SRW that won’t come out until 2029 AT MOST will have the newer stuff we got from 2023-2024 but I worry if it falls into the same issue as Y:

If too many new things come out in the span of time between games, which is a high possibility, we will be missing out on new shows either way and once more have to WAIT again. Bravern and Grendizer U are gonna have to wait for the next game, Bravern gonna be in gacha hell UNTIL then which who knows if it’ll still be popular by the time it’s add to SRW unless they make a sequel? With said sequel also likely NOT being able to be in the next game if it comes out within the span of the next few years? And this isn’t accounting for new stuff that’s come out or is yet to come: Aquarion new series wrapped up, Gquuuucks is a thing yet likely won’t be in if Gwitch needs to get its second season, there was a new Rayearth and Eureka seven project tease with the latter likely happening sooner rather then later, and overall more reboots will come out, but nothing from 2025 to 2029 when that will be FOUR years of content is going to be considered until the SRW in the next coming decade if this is how Y roster turns out.

It’s kinda a shame cause of release cycles SRW is legit falling behind on what the hot topics in mecha circles are simply due to when they were developed, while stuff like Gwitch, Dynanzenon and Arc were expected and people are happy about and are occasionally mention, they are slightly older topics in comparison to stuff like Bravern, Grendizer U and Gquuucks. (The last one is still airing even) It might’ve been better if this SRW was delayed but they were also backed into a corner of they needed to get this out within the normal cycle time to KEEP interest, yet they made it at the worst possible time in terms of mecha rep.

I don’t think Y will damage the series heavily, there’s still stuff in this game to be excited for but man it sucks how getting newbies into officially translated SRW games it still better to pick 30 despite the flaws it has- it still has a better roster in comparison to this game despite having the Zeta/CCA and arma problem.

Day 8 of Oc tober! If i did Pussycat, I had to do Razer next! Really glad he also kept most if not all design elements from when I first drew him! Will do a few more days of robots, then go back to mixing things up again!

2023 in Retrospect

Yo, we done! This year was... not great for the world. It was ok for me until November when the proverbial universe decided it was time to crap all over me and my family. We fine now, but I still need to find a new car >_>

Anyway, it was an interesting year in terms of releases. Built some real neat stuff this year, got some toys I was really looking forward to, and built a lot of custom Gunpla. All of which were G-Witch kits.

I've got a few plans for '24. I've got some more customs planned, some more G-Witch, some not-Gundam. There's some cool toys I'm looking forward to. Also, I do want to change things up on the blog a little bit. I've stuck to the 5 reviews per month for a few years now, but I've been doing a lot of art, and I normally have to schedule series reviews for 4-Friday months, so I'm gonna start posting art on weekends and be a bit more loose with 5th Reviews as it frees me up to do more stuff.

So, Happy New Year. Hope the last one was ok, the next one will be better, etc. Toy reviews every Friday, art will now be on Saturdays, and maybe more fun stuff randomly sprinkled in.
