At first I felt like a benevolent goddess when I escorted these little boogers outta the library

but considering this is the fourth rescue mission in four days, now I wonder if I'm actually some evil giantess keeping the poor guys from pursuing a higher education?

i fundamentally hate americanisms and will deliberately try and avoid them but icl they were right about the roly-poly bug. that guy DOES roly and poly. woodlouse just doesn’t hit the same

Since the last roly poly post, I've guided lots more out of the library.

All were special in their own way, but here are the ones that earned superatlives.

Most Resistant:

I am trying to save your life. Get scooped, idiot.

Most Cooperative:

Most bugs understandably avoid the paper when I set it down, but this guy just moseyed on over like everything was hunky dory. Thank you for your service.

Most Likely to Succeed with Only One Antennae:

You're being so brave about it.

The Biggest:

This was an absolute unit. It's hard to tell here, but it had height. Built like an armored double decker bus. Spotted it from so far away!

Flattest With Pointiest Butt Actually I Don't Know if It is Even a Roly Poly (Possible Disqualification)

Whatever you are, you're doing amazing sweetie.

Before anyone says I'm wasting tax payer's money by spending 10, 20, maybe 50% of my shift scooping bugs out, I work in an academic, not public, library. I am wasting tuition money.
