ok! the long awaited wyw ramble!
ramble below the cut. @ravens-and-rust this was the wyw ramble from earlier but im beginning to realize that tumblr dms isnt the best place to go crazy bc of ,,,, how much is loaded at once and the scrolling hUAHA
sundowner explains it a bit in his response here.
wyw takes place in around 2062, but i've been setting up a timeline for wyw's past huahaha!! fazbear decided to create a project in 2045 called the fazbear expansion program, which would take dcas and repurpose them.
this tended to be awfully horrific because it was normally a lot of information fed into a sentient ai once, which could easily conflict with all of the memories and experiences that have been formed already. fazbear doesnt care about that though.
there are laws in place, but its all about "regulating" (or controlling) various the dcas. dcas become commonplace because of how helpful they are.
dcas are often sought after. the reason why they're repurposed, in comparison to everyone else, is because they have opposable thumbs (stupid reason, but still), flexible, and, most importantly, they have learning ai. once fazbear realized that they made sentient ai basically, they decided to capitalize off of this. but they couldn't do this with when their bots were in daycares. also, because they were losing money in just entertainment, they decided that they had to go into different fields. which is why the program was made
within the world, while dual ai models do still exist (hence sungrass, at least in the past, others, etc.), there have been sun and moon models that were made separately. og dca existed, eclipse is seen and can sun and moon merge together as a security protocol. it's apricot's fault that that separate eclipse models are made huahaha <3 its cause her sun and moon merged cause they were in loooove (yes everyone here iss queer smiles)
fazco tried creating an eclipse like that of their own, but it proved to be too unstable and couldn't be done. so, eclipse models were created separated. there are going to maybe one or two more eclipse fusions, but eclipse fusions arent the same as eclipses. :)
star models were introduced when the program came about because less materials were needed to make them!! as a test, the first star model was repurposed over and over again. after several repurposes, half as a test to gather information and half because a field couldn't be decided to receiving more dcas that could be repurposed, this star model became very unstable! the one is called sisi (it/its pronouns, any can be used but not seen as its own)
the oc descriptions do go into their lore shallowly.
sungrass (originally called sunflower) and moonflower are dual ai. some suns and moons could talk in their head, but sungrass and moonflower weren't given that ability! they used to be daycare attendants hauhaha. when his pizzaplex burned down, moonflower was the one that was out at the time. moonflower was thankfully able to get the both of them out, but that meant that they were stuck outside, lost. this is the point where they could've died because, if they wandered in a wrong direction, then both moonflower and sunflower would have lost battery and rotted in some field. thankfully, moonshine found a mechanic but, due to the recent events of the virus, moonflower was shut off. which meant that sunflower woke up. alone.
sunflower never actually learned why moonflower was gone. smiles. instead, he stays with the mechanic, and he's stuck in a state of grief. he's,,, grieving a lot. for several years. well. grieving as best as an animatronic can when they don't know how to grieve. he learns a lot of things, he journals, he gets a morbid interest in taxidermy because he wants to preserve everything since he's scared of death after what happened with moonflower,,, he learns to also hunt with his mechanic but he doesnt like it. he knows how to use a hunters rifle though (important to wywaskblog but dw about it toooo much. Smiles). he rips out his rays during one of his worse times, and he gets these grass replacements that are floppy. he calls himself sungrass. his mechanic,,, dies...,,,,,, later on, and years pass before yn in wyw finds them
more stuff for wyw fanfic here below the cut but yn has distanced themselves from their parents, and also received like. millions from their grandparents' will, as well as a house. theyre from alaska. bloodmoon is also from alaska, i'll go into his lore shortlyyy. but, yn gets close to bloodmoon, finds out that he has a virus, and thats what pushes yn to leave alaska and go on a roadtrip after flying to utah so that they can find a cure for bloodmoon. while there is no actual cure, it becomes easier to work around when theres more bots. sooo, yn ends up picking up a lot of bots huahaha
in regards to bloodmoon lore, he's actually more of an eclipse but. moon model. he was supposed to be dual ai, but not enough funding was present after what happened with sisi (sidereal). he was made on in the early years of the program, when the funding was limited bc fazco wasnt sure if it would implode in their face or not. it proved to later be successful, but some of the first bots are certainly made shoddily. bloodmoon here can actually be counted as eclipse fusion, believe it or not, but. it's because the sun's ai mixed with the moon ai. however, since the moon ai was much more stable, they instead mixed together and. well, that's how bloodmoon came to be. he got the best traits of both ais—calm, attentive, willing to constantly do things, etc. smiles. and, in order not to have to train the bloodmoon ai, fazco had one of the previous states of the og dca saved! like, you know when you save your progress in a game? kinda like that. :) but, the state that they gave to bloodmoon had the afton virus in it!! </3
i ughmgm hm/. bloodmoon used to be a hospital attendant.,,, he used to watch over people. he also wasn't allowed to be around dead bodies then. however, because a lot of money could be made from a hospital, fazco pushed for him to become a surgeon! it made him unstable, and caused the virus to awaken but not do anything. however, a bunch of people died under his watch (not his fault), which caused him to snap. and the virus to hit full force. guhshgh. his virus is very intertwined with his systems..,,
he ran away from the hospital and got sheltered by a butcher hajhsjerg. he. killed the butcher. because of the virus. the virus comes and goes—it's very random when it hits, s,,, so,,,,, mmyeah
i can list a bunch of names rn for a bunch of ocs im thinking about. the biiig five are sirius, moonstruck, ultraviolet (uvi), .exeligmos, and also sisi. what makes this group funny is that its pretty rounded out—2 stars, one moon, one sun, and one eclipse (virus)!!!! im thinking that yn does get the balloon world arcade machine that .exe is in, but he doesnt actually show his form until sirius has been met hauhaa.
i'm also debating on having sirius come with yn :)
i love sirius
looks around.
.... anyone interested in a ramble about whats your worth? (i rambled somewhere but i think it'd be better to put into a long post,,,)

Footnotes on foes: Eldrazi
Hey DMs, do you need an unfeeling aberrant force to threaten your campaign world at various scales but don’t want to use mindflayers? Bored of lovecraftian knockoffs threatening to drown reality in abstract but unspecified “madness”? Well have I got the monster for you friends, It’s the Eldrazi: an unknowable and all consuming horde that’s here to reduce your setting to nothingness.
I’ve always had a fondness for the Eldrazi after they originally debued in magic the gathering, alien beings that sap all life from their surroundings and seem to have no other aims beyond the total and complete obliteration of whatever world they happen to dwell on. (plus they have a super cool look, and in the end isn’t that what matters?)
Eldrazi have a lot of mystery surrounding them, but in trying to puzzle them out I came up with my own headcanon that was too good not to use.  Below the cut I’ll go into detail on how I think the eldrazi function, and how you can best use them in your campaigns.
TLDR: The eldrazi are the great decomposers of the multiverse, reducing dead worlds down into their base components, and then into dust to be reabsorbed by the cosmic cycles of the astral sea. A perfectly natural process, but one that can go catastrophically wrong should the eldrazi be drawn to a world that has not yet died as they often are by witless dabblers or disruptions to those same astral currents. When they end up on a world they’re not supposed to be they end up creating wastelands, fighting against nature like an infection.
While they’re scattered about many regions of the astral sea where stagnation looms, the eldrazi mainly occupy a region of the multiverse known as the dead realms, a cosmic landfill where realities decay into one another and the faceless horrors can do their work.
It is important to note that the eldrazi are not a species, or in many ways actual organisms: Each eldrazi brood (differentiated by trends in their alien anatomy and what they transmute material into) is the intrusion of a singular will into the cosmos with its own aims, which constructs its bodies from the errant energies of whatever world it happens to interface with. This makes communication with the eldrazi highly difficult, especially for those who encounter them without prior knowledge, as the will that pilots an eldrazi brood experiences the whole of the brood at once, many bodies at once, many dimensions at once. Even the most intelligent and independent members of a brood are merely hands in comparison with the greater body, able to exert a greater tactile degree of control but not actively conscious.
This alien existence extends to their anatomy: resembling summoned or illusory creatures, the body of an individual Eldrazi lacks blood or organs, and is instead a notional matter primarily used to store the magical potential they sap out of the worlds they digest. When an eldrazi dies they do not rot, instead they erode, the magic that composes their being leaking back into the laylines they siphoned dry.  Such transference can cause surges of wild magic proportional to the size and number of the brood slain.
This lack of a physiognomy extends to how Eldrazi seem to “breed”, budding like fungus or grotesquely merging to form larger bodies, which amounts to the prime entity behind the brood splitting up its focus for multiple tasks.  Sometimes the entity needs to actively participate in its act of decomposition, in which case the brood begins draining all it can, growing all it can, and then merging together into an eldrazi titan. These entities can lay waste to landscapes but also think in ways the disparate brood could do nothing about.
Eldrazi have a strange relationship with magic, in that their singular goal seems to be to extract the magical/living/quintessential essence out of dead worlds, meaning they become very adept at reading and manipulating systems that are built upon these primal currents. Eldrazi broods spread along a plane’s laylines like mushrooms along a rotten branch, sapping at its nutrients till the line goes dead and the landscape with it. This infection can even spread to enchantments, curses, and magical constructs, bringing them into a titan’s influence and even providing a seedbed for the growth of more eldrazi.
Very little of this information is well known by planear scholars, and even less of it is understood by those who might encounter stray eldrazi that’ve ended up scattered on their worlds. What most understand is that the Eldrazi show up following great magical disasters, create a wasteland wherever they go, and seem to have an innate ability to overcome and subvert magical defences. Most are content simply to hunt them on sight, and the prime eldrazi seem more than content to let their stray buds be culled while they focus on the real task of eating worlds.
Adventure Hooks:
High in the mountains there’s said to be the wreck of some kind of flying ship, that locals say they saw hurtling through the sky decades ago only to crash somewhere amid the peaks. The ship is in fact a spelljammer, and salvaging its helm might just be the first step in the party setting off on their first cosmic adventure. All is not well though, as when they begin exploring the high cliffs and isolated valley, they find ship and much of the surrounding landscape has been turned into a spiralling labyrinth of giant bismuth crystals, the haunt of a few eldrazi the jammer crew picked up while fleeing a dying world that ended up scuttling them in the end.
Powerful spikes of magic draw the eldrazi across the planes, so after the mid-campaign villain attempts their apotheosis and fails miserably, not only to the party have to deal with whatever threat that unleashed, but increasing numbers of sightings of horrifying entities skulking about the countryside near the villain’s old lair. This gives the party a chance to re-explore an old dungeon, finding its corridors warped and its chambers filled with dust.
Desperate to impress their supervisor by summoning a rare creature from the outer planes, a group of arcane grad students at the local magical college have unwittingly ended up snagging an eldrazi away from its brood, and are intent on studying it. For its part, the eldrazi seems oddly complacent, but is infact exerting its flesh warping influence on the students and the animals surrounding their lab. The party first gets involved tracking drown grotesque chimeras of ratswarms and stray beats, which invariably lead them through the increasingly organic sewers and up into the lab, where the eldrazi has broken containment.   Not all the students are accounted for, and while some got away with benign abnormalities, others have been incorporated into the brood, and will seek new places to take root.
Also, while there’s no official stats for eldrazi, a lot of great creators have already taken the challenge upon themselves, so I encourage you to go out and find some of their work.

Theme Bestiary: Behemiron
Tumblr media
CR 13
Chaotic Evil Huge Outsider
Pathfinder Bestary 6, pg. 224
These lumbering horrors are among the most repugnant of all qlippoth, and can be found scavenging the battlefields of both the Abyss and the Material Plane for corpses on which to work their vile magic. Once per day, a Behemiron can burrow its trunk into a Small or larger corpse and slurp up everything but the outer skin in one swift motion before causing its trunk to slough off of its face and merge with the body. If the body isn’t destroyed, it grows into a brand new Behemiron a mere hour later, which can immediately use its own Create Spawn to make even more of themselves. A single Behemiron with access to a field of Small or larger intact corpses can become a titanic swarm in just a few days... which they have plentiful access to down in the Abyss, on the front lines of the battle against the demons.
Whenever a Behemiron sheds its trunk, it grows a new one after about an hour, gaining the effects of the Heal spell when it does. Beware of fighting one of these creatures when it lacks its trunk; yes, it can no longer deliver its 2d8+16 slam attack, but it may suddenly regrow the thing in the middle of battle, regaining 130 HP and shrugging off an enormous list of negative conditions. Given how they average about 180 HP to begin with, regenerating 75% of that in the middle of a fight would be kind of a dick move on the DMs part. A Behemiron is already loaded with potential kicks in the teeth anyway, it doesn’t need that one unless the party just really starts wailing on it!
For one, it can use Ray of Exhaustion at will. Just one or shots from that and you’re automatically Exhausted for 13 minutes, and exhaustion sucks to be hit with, especially if you have low Str or Dex to begin with; you may end up paralyzed for the full duration due to the -6 penalty to those two scores it imposes! And on the topic of paralysis, Behemiron can also use Enervation and Hold Monster 3/day each to cripple and paralyze their prey to make them easy pickings, and Power Word Stun once per day to shut someone’s defenses down for 1 to 16 rounds. Their trunk deals 2d8+16 damage per hit, but they also have a very nasty bite dealing 4d6+11 alongside that! And that’s not all, because the fetid touch of the creatures’ quartet of antennae causes a supernatural Rot that inflicts 1 point of Str and Con damage. A singular point might not seem like much, but the Behemiron can make up to four such attacks each round, and their antennae attacks resolve as touch attacks.
The mortal world is lucky that Behemiron are far more concerned with killing demons than they are dealing with mortals, their ability to quickly replenish their fallen using the bodies of lesser demons (or even the bodies of their own kind) making them perfect frontline troops for the qlippoth. In fact, offering one of these creatures the opportunity to slaughter demons is one of the few ways to get it to listen to you, and if your Diplomacy is good enough, you can spare your party a lot of pain by directing the horrors towards demonic infestations that need taking care of. Just... make sure you’re prepared to deal with the cleanup. I suggest Plane Shifting them away, back to the Abyss.
You can read more about them here.

My rot merged DMS skins have recently been updated!
The main changes are:
I finally gave the rot merged mouths to better fit their actual intended design, I gave everyone but Pebbles pupils to match my more recent iterator designs, I added colorless versions for more customization options, and I added Sliver of Straw. (Don’t asked how, Moon must have gotten a hold of a time travel device.)

The actual character mod still doesn't exist yet... But I have come up with a good alternative for now. Yesterday I made a dms skin of RM Pebbles, and today I came up with a fairly immersive mod config:
– Rivulet, (for the world state.)
– Rot Merged DMS skin, (for the correct character appearance.)
– Carnivorous Slugcats, (for the ability to eat meat.)
– Edible Rocks, (for his ability to eat rocks.)
– Slugcat Stats Config, (this is likely the most important one on the list… Set the food requirement to 8 hibernation pips, and 1 storage pip. Turn on the ability to maul. Set the breath limit to the longest time available, then set the rest of the combat and movement states to match hunter. Make his starvation stats a little stronger than his base stats to create the impression of him being overcome with his rot’s primal voracity.)
– Simplified Movement Set, (turn on wall climb in its settings to simulate his ability to climb walls with his rot tentacles.)
– HP Bar, (to simulate his durability mechanic. Considering that an iterator puppet is meant to be very durable, set it to only one point of damage per hit.)
– Any mod that allows back spears for all slugcats, (Emerald’s Tweaks & Features is my personal favorite for this.)
– Inventory, (to simulate his increased back storage. Use only two or three slots for higher accuracy.)
– CatPunchPunch, (parring this with the maul from Slugcat Stats Config is the closest approximation I could find for him being able to use his tentacles to grab enemies without having to stun them first.)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
(No the skin is not available on the workshop yet. I still want to add the other characters before I release it. Yes, there will be other rot merged iterators in the au.)
